Queen bed very comfortable. Room on 8th floor did not have city view, but still excellent stay. Location of the hotel is excellent. Quiet area and only a two minute walk to Union Square. Staff members were super.
Brighter lighting, but realize reason to lower light is to conserve.

Location, design, delightful staff
The internet would not connect properly so had to watch movies on my phone

Rooms are very noisy
After paying $1000/day, complete underwhelming experience
At time of check-in, staff did not provide the complementary water and did not tell about wi-fi
Room was not cleaned and I had to ask the reception to make up my room

The room footprint was quite small but the interiors/bedding/bathroom were great. The staff were all so amazing and were the highlight of the stay.
The room footprint was a bit small and the spaces around the bed were a tight squeeze to navigate around with large suitcases. There was not enough seating apart from the bed.

The staff were very friendly and engaged us in conversation as we came and went. They were always so friendly and helpful- recommending the water dispenser in the fitness room, directing me to the downstairs bathroom to refresh after my red eye flight.
I loved it there and wished we were staying longer!

Nice hotel, nice neighborhood.
Check in is very late at 15:00. Rooms have doors connecting to other apartments. You can hear the other guests talking from you room.

Loved the front desk staff.

This place is IDEAL for NYC Pride Weekend. PrideFest is LITERALLY right outside the front doors of this hotel. It’s proximity to Union Square Park and station is unbeatable. The staff here is AMAZING. I had an issue with checkin, but the staff’s hospitality made it very hard to stay upset. I stay here yearly for Pride weekend !
I tend to have issues at check-in, going thru booking. It’s quiet frustrating, I don’t know if it’s on bookings end or the hotels end, but the last 3 years there’s been a problem. This year the issue was more on me initially, however the was it was resolved by the morning crew left me with a room cancellation and the afternoon crew with no answers for me as to how it happened.Gratefully I’m local that I was able to return home that night and get the room I booked the following night, but only after rebooking while I was there at the front desk. Obviously using booking.com comes with discounts, but possibly booking DIRECTLY with the hotel is the better option. They seem to have issues with 3rd party sites.

Great location, close to Union Square Market, Trader Joe’s and new food hall. Walk to EATALY or Downtown.
It’s a bit on a pricey side

location
rooms very small, shower looked like it could be cleaner.

new room
No room service. No separation between room and bathroom. Housekeeper had to be reminded to clean my room at 7:30pm!

The room was not done after having left it for a few hours.

Location
The bathroom was dirty and there was a stain on a sheet. Also on the floor there was a stain like soda that I was able to clean with a piece of paper. Very uncomfortable space for clothes. Definitely not worth the $600+ a day I paid. I arrived a few hours before check-in time and had to pay $60 to occupy the room, which we know was available and no one else could use. In this case, being a "genius" from Booking.com did not work

I love the location.
The hallways look very tired, and the showers look like they need to be redone. I’ve stayed here several times. Maybe they don’t have a record of it, but they gave me a very tiny room with a horrible view. I will probably start staying at the W instead.

This is an excellent location, close to Union Square subway station. We were on the 7th floor, street-side, and with the window closed, there was very little street noise.
Not a fan of the open-concept bathroom.

location and extremely friendly helpful staff
