Location was the only good thing.
The room is so out dated ! Don’t get me wrong I get that it’s been there forever but the shower curtain had mold , the screens were either ripped or non existent and the sheets ! The sheets were so worn that they were see through ! The carpets were filthy . The door had a paper blind on it .

The place is like any other beachside motel nothing fancy you get what you pay for ...we thought it was fine
It's out dated the mattresses are your typical 99 dollar mattress outlet mattresses little dank smelling

I enjoyed the location and the hot tub.
The room smelled like mildew, the front door was rusting on the bottom and scraped the floor every time we opened or closed it. The refrigerator was leaking and was rusted on the bottom.

Not clean

The room could have used a cleaning. Floors were very dirty. Walk around barefoot and got very dirty feet!
3.0
The proximity to beach
The room had an musty odor that never subsided even with the window open, the plaster on the walls was cracked all over, the room itself was very small and dingy and there was no where to put your clothes away other than a rack beside the bed and the bedding was dicey looking.

Point 1 is a 5 minute walk from Misquamicut State beach, which is lovely. Good water pressure, good hot water. Room was clean.
No bedside clock, Bed was a cheap roll-away king that sagged a bit. The room was a bit shabby, I expected more for $250 per night.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean. But if you stay here be prepared for loud thumping West Indian from music from various sources all day long and mega-bright LED lights right outside your windows all night.

Our room was ready when requested, and was neat as a pin. The owners were warm and welcoming. The room was quiet, we knew there were other guests, but we could not hear them. The ac worked well and the fridge kept our refreshments chilled. The location is excellent, a short walk to the beach.
5.0
The motel was close to a restaurant that had very good food.
The shower was very small and it dripped all night. The air conditioner was a loud wall unit that kept us up most of the night. The microwave didn't work. The window blinds had some broken slats, letting in the light from the street.

Love how accommodations very polite and welcoming
Need it more blankets and pillows

location and the deck is perfect.
there was no screen on the window so we where really unable to open the window for some fresh air. staying near the ocean it is nice to have the breeze blowing. (other rooms had screen)
room was a bit dark and bed linen seems a bit old and worn.

Close to beach
Bed was shot. (Dumpster worthy) towels must have been from a car wash that tossed them and bought new. Shredded and stained. Shower drain flies. Sandy floors. No blanket, just a dirty bedspread and very old stained sheets.

Close to the beach. Firm bed but manageable. Decent wifi signal and cable tv package (appreciated at night or during inclement weather). Owner was amenable to us parking past check-out time, since our first 2 days were ridiculously rainy. We appreciated that.
I wish I did my homework before booking this.
No windows at all, but the door was mostly glass, covered in some sort of paper. It provided privacy, but you get no natural light… this is near the beach, we WANT some sunlight.
First, the mini-fridge handle was sticky. Ew. When I wiped it with a wet-wipe, it was BLACK. Mind you, we’re still in the pandemic… stuff needs to be cleaned properly between guests.
The bathroom. The motel’s description (that I read later) says it “features a shower”. Um, that’s not supposed to be a “feature”. Its not a hostel. Well, the “featured shower” was a TINY stall. We arent large people… and when my boyfriend tried to re-direct the shower head, he said it was “slimey”.
The name of the place it “Point 1 Resort and Motel”. There is no “resort” aspect at all. There is no ice maker, but you can buy a bag of ice from the desk for $3.00. I didnt DARE use the in-room coffee maker. The “balcony” features dirty old plastic patio furniture.
We wont be back. If you choose to come here, make sure you wipe everything down. One of my pictures shows the wet-wipe after like the third wipe-down of the fridge handle. Again, ewww.
