Right on the plaza
I liked everything

We are great fans of the Sonoma Plaza. This hotel is right on the corner of the plaza and so everything around the Plaza is within walking distance. There is a fabulous restaurant in the ground floor of the hotel and we had an excellent dinner on their patio.

Super charming!

Great location. Close to shops and restaurants. Easy parking on the street.
Rooms are not sound proof. A group came in late in the evening and you could hear everything. There should be more reinforcement on keeping the noise level down after hours.
Hot water did not go on for over an hour. We enquired about it and was told to keep running the water.

for the money it fell short of providing comfort

Great bldg. eith European guesthouse feel.
Above my favorite restaurant! Although many great places to dine/drink on the Square.
Contrary to other posters, the walls Are thin - the couple next door ... their tryst was Vocal and sounded like it was in My bath.

We did not eat breakfast there but at a darling and very good Sunflower Caffe across the street. Hotel oozes old time charm with the feel of 150 or so years ago, but, of course with all the modern amenities. Lobby charming and had free coffee available in the morning. There is a beautiful restaurant attached to the hotel which was VERY popular with hotel guests and non guests alike but it did not appear to be open for breakfast. Rooms are tiny but very well appointed. Worth it for the charm and location right on the town square.
Nothing. Loved it.

Great location, really nice building, but really tiny rooms!
tiny rooms
Recommendation: bikes for rent, to visit nearby wineries would be great.

it was very quaint. Room was super clean.
on the road resulting in early morning car/ truck noises. I’m a light sleeper and even with closed curtains, still noisy. our room faced the street. perhaps not an issue in non road front rooms

We didn’t realize breakfast came with the room so we went to the cafe across the street for coffee and breakfast.
Clarity on morning amenities, coffee and or whatever’s included or available to order. Would have been nice to know coffee was in the facility early morning.
Hope this helps.

location was great and staff could not have been better.
I am 85 years old and nobody on the ad mentioned that there was no elevator. we were on 3rd floor and it was a drag going up with our luggage. the room itself was ok but there was not a drop of counter space to put my utility (tooth brush makeup lotion) bag down. couldn’t use the tv nor when I tried to log into my computer with the Wi-Fi location and code it wouldn’t work. it’s ok we chocked it up to experience. like I said location and staff were excellent but we probably will not go back.

The Stairs is too high to climb especially if knees are bad. No elevator. But for anyone who would seek an accommodation near the center of town Plaza , it’s a lovely place to stay. Violet

location and restaurant next door
needs a little updating

nice, historic hotel, decor with nice touches, very helpful and friendly staff. Well located at edge of the town plaza.
Stairs were more of a hindrance that expected, perhaps I should have looked closer at that issue. Parking a bit of an issue, kind of like musical cars depending on time of day but certainly doable!

The listing said they have breakfast, but apparently that was old and they never corrected it.
The room was LOUD. There is absolutely no privacy. if you’re looking for a romantic, quiet getaway, do not pick room one which is located behind the desk and has a window with a table for outdoor seating against it.
