Since we had an early ferry, we had to settle for the "continental breakfast" which consisted of mediocre pre-packaged foods for the most part. A large bowl of assorted fresh fruits would have been welcome, and perhaps fresh-baked goods which could have been prepared the night before would have satisfied. Since so many of the reviews focussed on how delicious the on-site breakfast is, we were disappointed not to have something good tasting and satisfying for those of us (and there seemed to be quite a few) who had to leave early.
Room was oppressively hot when we arrived. Given that we had notified the inn of our approximate arrival time, we were surprised that it had not been turned on for us. in addition, the AC turned out to be very noisy, making sleep difficult. Also lots of street noise late at night.
We had to ask for towels - when they were brought up we were told that the cleaner was new...

In a bed and breakfast you usually have an innkeeper to greet and check you in. We had to be the ones to deadbolt lock the door at night The heat did not work in the room assigned to us. The person we spoke to in the morning had to turn some kinda valve to get the heat to come on this morning. If you wanted to actually wash your body in the shower the head did not move so the water hit the back of shower curtain and you had to stand out of shower on toilet for the water to hit your body.

Loved the charming vintage theme. It was clean and cozy!
This is just a personal preference- but the room and bathroom felt really warm from the heaters.

I wasn't expecting the size of the room, but it was a wonderful experience. I liked the rain shower and slept in the Rapunzel room.
Unfortunately, I responded to how many would be joining me on my first breakfast on Saturday. Only me....but another guest that was unexpected received my pre-ordered breakfast tray. I got her makeshift last minute breakfast.

The Inn is quaint and beautifully maintained. The accommodations are comfortable, and the fireplace in the king room is just delightful. Lovely neighborhood and great location. Staff is friendly and breakfast was good.

The two things about this home was the location and the price. My sister and talked about not putting a price tag on our vacation rental again.
My sister and I have stayed at b&bs three times. This one did not compare. In the past the host of the house was there to greet us at the door, walked us through the home explained the history. There was no one there to greet us when we arrived. At the other homes they had someone who organized and delivered our breakfast which was wonderful. This home was very unorganized for breakfast. I would say if you're going to do a breakfast and you have more than six people to cook for maybe do a breakfast casserole or pancakes something that would be easier to do for a big crowd. I am one of eight children and my mom could put breakfast/dinner on the table and all of us would have a warm breakfast/dinner this was not the case, the eggs were hot but the French toast was cold that morning. The next day we had eggs they burnt the sausage, maybe have extra sausage on hand just in case of this event. We have stayed in places where the accommodations were tight, the bathroom was a small closet just enough room to walk in turn around and sit down to use the toilet if you stood up and took one step to your right you would have walked into the shower. Maybe if we would have understood how small that room was we wouldn't have chose that particular room. If you're going to run a B&B before you start opening the rooms for people to visit you probably should do a little bit extra to make the house look like a home I hope this place takes our criticism and works towards making B&B a better place. I'm not trying to upset or disappoint them in any way, I'm trying to help them. I wish them well and I hope their business thrives just take the information I have left and make this B&B more comfortable for their guests : )

The water pressure in the shower could be stronger.

The location of the property is excellent. Can walk to downtown. We had first floor room #1. Was big and spacious. Dated but Victorian feeling. We enjoyed it breakfast was served at 9, we only ate one morning there and it was good.
The ppl above us were loud at like 6am. Not the places fault, but some ppl aren’t respectful

Absolutely nothing.
We had to experience two families with children that we’re running up and down the hallways and stairs, and sounded like a bunch of elephants, yelling and screaming and slamming doors. My wife was trying to have a telephone conversation at the time and the person she was talking to could not hear what my wife was saying due to the loud noise. We reported it to the owners and he did absolutely NOTHING and defended the families. Under NO circumstances would we ever stay here again. This is the worst bed and breakfast that we have ever stayed at.

Outstanding facility like being home, restful and relaxing.

The chef at the Inn did a remarkable job of varying the different breakfast items. She presented each meal with a description of our tray. Each item was cooked to perfection and you could tell that she loves what she does.
Next time, I will request a room with a larger bathroom. My 6’5” husband. Everything else was perfect.

The room was nice, and it was very convenient to check in and check out.
My partner is very concerned with privacy in this day and age, and she expressed some concern about the ring camera at the door.

1. Outstanding, fresh, creative, generous breakfast!!
2. Staff outstanding - friendly, attentive, eager to please.
3. Lovely common area, sitting areas, and garden space.
4. Convenient location.. walkable to town.
5. Great value.
1. Shower temperature was very difficult to regulate.
2. Shower tile area and rugs were very slippery - a safety issue.
3. Exterior entrance steps/door should be updated/dressed up. They were worn and a bit shabby.
4. Bed was too soft and a bit lumpy.
4.5
Simple facilities. Access to yard, no one around.
"homemade" treats instead of packaged snacks

Beautiful house. Great location. Julia the in keeper was amazing. The food was exceptional!
It was cold in the room and we weren't told we had to turn the heater on when we got there so we spent 12 hours thinking the antique radiator just wasn't working well. After texting Julia though she told us what to do and it warmed right up

The breakfasts were wonderful. The location was a bit noisy but that was to be expected with the property being on a main road. The staff were very friendly.
We visited in March and rhe weather was quite chilly. We had wanted to remain at the property during the day to rest and relax but the heat was turned wsy down during the day forcing us to go for car rides to warm up.

The breakfast was lovely, very quiet and cozy place to stay!

almost everything
granted it’s an old house, but the heat was a little inconsistent
