The space was good for 4 adults and a toddler.
The kitchen was well equipped.
The outside space was nice.
We could use the pool at Cedar Lodge.
The outside lights didn't work which made arriving in the dark very difficult....they were fixed very quickly when reported the next day.
The hot tub water appeared to be murky.
There was quite a lot of road noise especially early in the morning.
I'm not sure where the name Gatekeepers Lodge comes from...it was called the Yellow House!

The outdoor facilities are great. Also great location and view. There is a trailhead just beside the lodge and it has great view. The lodge was clean and kitchen was well equipped. There were enough beddings and towels. The air conditioner worked great and we had a warm stay. The staff at Ceder Lodge was friendly and answered all our questions.
There is no internet or Wi-Fi. The bed has spring mattress thus it feels a bit uncomfortable to me.

Great location, 30 min drive to Yosemite National Park Entrance. You do not get good phone signal reception. Stunning river and mountain view. Clean rooms and bathroom. Love the kitchen.
It would be best if there is wifi available for guests.

Great location, easy to find. We had an amazing nighttime view of the stars, a deer passed by our house in the evening. It's a great spot, good value for your money if you're visiting yosemite.
the wifi connection was very bad, and there was no 4G or anything
4.1
Just outside yosemite, with sufficient facilities to help us prepare for our day trips. 30min away from Mariposa, which made the occasional dine outs and grocery runs easy. Clean towels, well fitted kitchen with a range of appliances. Spacious, good for 4-5 people. Didn't get a chance to use the outdoor area and grill.
Wifi at the accommodation was hard to access and spotty most of the time, which made searching for live information difficult. Booking receipt also didn't detail the check in process so we spent quite some time trying to find out how to check in as the property is located a few miles away from the office/check in counter.

Cute little house in a great location. Updated and clean.
The shower head was weak but that is all.

Upstairs bedroom had 2 queen size beds. Downstairs had 1 bedroom with queen size bed. Downstairs bedroom had a sliding door which was nice for privacy. Livingroom had a sofa that opened upto queen size bed. All beds were very comfortable and so were the pillow. The kitchen was very nice. Loved the gas stove. Worked great. Was able to bake and cook without any issues. The dining table was pretty big with 4 chairs. Upstairs bedroom and Livingroom had a wall mounted TV with cable. Nice gas Barbecue grill outside. The patio area was very spacious with a nice view. There was a 4 1/2 mile hiking trail entrance right next to the lodge that went along the river. Overall the view from the lodge was beautiful. It's located in a quiet area and you have all the privacy you want. Plenty of clean towels available.
The walk to the lodge was very very steep. By the time I walked the short hilly slope to the lodge each day I was out of breath and had to rest before climbing the steps to lodge (good workout though). Had to park the car at the bottom as no parking next to lodge. The body wash in the bathroom was DOVE brand which was refilled with some other kind of body wash that smelled gross. No hand soap in bathroom (glad I brought my own as a backup). The upstairs bedroom has an attic type of ladder to climb in order to get in from inside. It's also accessible from outside but the outside light doesn't work so you have to use your cell flashlight so you don't trip in the dark at night. No internet or phone reception☹ (more quality time with family🙂). No housekeeping service. Had to take my own trash out everyday all the way down the hill.

The location was close to Yosemite Park, so access to the park was easy. Having the place to ourselves was nice, and the place was fairly clean.
The water pressure was awful. Drinking water smelled like sulfur. The water in the shower came out as a trickle, and can not but used when other faucets are running. The second bedroom was hard to access with the ladder; even though there was a staircase outside - it was very hard to access for my elderly father so we had to rooms with him. The staircase should be enclosed on the inside.

Nice, clean cabin in a great location, with air conditioning and a lovely patio. Wading in the river across the street was awesome in the hot weather we had! Despite the negatives listed below, we absolutely enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it - just come prepared for what you're getting!
The beds are all small for adults (Full size), and access to the top floor (with two beds) is definitely tricky, with a steep ladder or outside stairs (not kid-friendly or great for anyone not pretty fit). The downstairs bed is really noisy, and since we didn't want to carry the baby upstairs, it meant even a small movement would wake her up. Bedding was overall decent, though the pillows were not for us. The kitchen is barely stocked (pepper, but no salt, sufficient dishes and cookware), but the knives were dangerously dull, no cutting board, and the hot water kettle leaked boiling water all over the counter (we notified them for replacement).

Out door furniture and grill
4.1
Pros: close to Yosemite, spacious & clean property, lack of wifi and cell service allows you to fully enjoy nature
Cons: unable to use oven & electric grill at the same time (blew circuit fuse), after a long day of hiking Half Dome the last thing we wanted was to climb up and down the ladder to get to the bedroom
4.1
The location is really great because it’s just across the river and we were able to swim in it. Also, the cabin is well stocked with things we might need like towels, kitchenware, cleaning tools, etc. It is convenient knowing that we had to drive more than 2 miles to get to the front desk.
The receptionist forgot to activate our card key. We had to drive back to the front desk again just to have it activated.

The location was as advertised very close to the park. It has enough parking space for the guests (however the road that leads to the upper rooms is desperate for a repair).
There were ants and all sorts of other insects on the property, in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. I would constantly feel something crawling on me.
The property is airconditioned with 2 AC units, one on each floot and both extremely noisy.
Not something you expect at 300+$ a night.
4.1
Good selection of dishes and cooking utensils. Proximity to the park was ideal.
There were lots of ants. The water tasted like sulfur.
