Boutique hotel feel in an interesting area!

Loved this hotel and LOVED Richmond. What a cool city. The hotel is near some cool hipster(ish) stores, second hand stores and some good food. Nice walkable area. Nice staff that all seemed happy to be there unlike some chain hotels! Quality, good bedding & nice bathrooms.

Would stay again but would request a different floor in the hopes that the bed and room is better.

Lobby and decor throughout was unique and fun, the staff were very helpful and professional, in particular David our Valet and the front desk associates.

Our bed was very squeaky and the walls were very thin, it sounded like our neighbors and the housekeeping staff were inside our room.

Fun and unique stay, very curated to a specific aesthetic.

The food at the hotel was good, and the art exhibit was a very fun touch. The theme of the hotel is very instagramable. If this hotel fits your aesthetic, you would love it.

The air conditioning was a bit stuffy in the room, and the valet was a bit confusing.

It's nice to see a place with some style. Wish we could've been there longer.

Whimsical lobby decor, huge windows with dark sheer curtain and high ceilings in room, rooftop bar, close to restaurants, bus line, bars.

Not easy to park in area nor find where to pay to park at hotel. We walked over from a couple blocks away. It was cheaper then your $28.

The Quirk is our new fav - we cannot wait to come back!

Brunch in Lobby was absolutely amazing! We had the breakfast sandwich and the pasta and will crave these items until we return. The staff was also amazingly friendly❤️

it was a lovely bright hotel and foyer. centrally located

Our room was never serviced - our stay was from Sunday and extended through to the following Sat. We kept asking for our rooms to be serviced in the morning daily - mainly because the showers are a terrible design so absolutely floods the bathroom. This was acknowledged, apologized for - but never done. It was infuriating to come home to put your feet up for a few hours - and the bedroom and bathroom were - AGAIN - a mess. we then had to vacate our room until it was done. just do unprofessional and inconvenient and therefore made our stay unpleasant.

Lovely hotel which we’d love to visit again if the “quirks” are worked out!

The restaurant and our server, Danny, was amazing!!

The bathroom shower leaks out to the bathroom floor. We asked for maid service but didn’t receive it during our stay. We did request and receive additional towels (thank you); Much needed since we used the original ones provided to clean up the “flood” and block the door jam throughout our stay.

For a hotel this large, it shoud have more breakfast items rather than just a few sandwiches.

Nicely decorated lobby area. Our room wasn’t what we expected. Sheets were dirty on one bed, floor was nasty in some areas…. just expected much higher standard of cleanliness for the price. I can say kudos to the valet staff!! They were super friendly and most helpful

No real restaurant on premises that served breakfast and other food items. The room could have been a lot cleaner. We should’ve have requested to be moved. This is a artsy deco hotel but not as upscale as it’s advertised to be and definitely lacking on cleanliness in guest rooms.. I have pictures of the nasty sheets, we thought were bed bugs or droppings . Only 2 towels in the bathroom which also were dingy.

Perfect stay.

We stay at the Quirk twice a year, and always enjoy our stay. Love that they are so pet friendly. The restaurant and bar downstairs has an upscale but casualness that I always enjoy from a small boutique hotel.

Unique style and spacious accommodations.

Staff isn’t particularly attentive for what you pay. Parking is Valet only which would be fine if I didn’t get my car back significantly dirtier than when I dropped it off. Hotel doesn’t have any amenities other than the lobby and roof bars the latter of which feels more like a dive bar than one befitting a boutique hotel.

The Quirk isn’t the Jefferson. We’ll stay Old School our next trip to RIC.

The location is great, as are the staff. The room had nice windows, but lacked things I’d expect from a boutique hotel, like extra blankets and pillows. The lobby was very pleasant and the food was tasty. we had drinks and desert in the downstairs bar and that was great, and breakfast was well done too.

Our room felt pretty blah— white and gray, and dull. The bathroom had a “cool” sink and shower that made a mess— the faucets leaked water onto the sink and the shower made the floor really wet. Too many “boutique” hotels sacrifice working fixtures for looking “interesting”. The other thing that made us uncomfortable was that the rooftop bar seemed to be a destination for drunk single men, and each ride in the elevator was a little uncomfortable because of the overly-friendly men! I wish the guests were as gracious and dignified as the staff— we loved the staff! Having a separate elevator to the rooftop might make guests feel more comfortable…

The hotel is only cute for taking photos - the staff is racist and the food is subpar. Disappointing

The is very disrespectful and borderline racist. When entering the building no one spoke to my significant other or I. however when someone of a different race walked in, it was manners and respect. While in the gallery/gift shop, the woman on duty didn’t even speak or ask if i needed help finding something or checking out. The valet staff stayed on their phone the entire time and the food was subpar.
