Man, the view was insane.
I had a Gotham View room at the top with the balcony. So powerful view.

The room was comfortable and stylish. Loved the shower.
I could see a little wear and tear of the facilities.
Carpet in the hallways was getting a little used, a lot of scratch marks in the walls. Under the pool cabanas were a lot of trash (plastic cups and tissues), even the next day early in the morning, I would have thought someone would clean in the evenings. This is not that important m, the essentials were wonderful but it’s the little details that made me marc 4/5 versus 5/5.

The location
Nice roof
Nice views
Friendly staff
5 star prices for 1 star accommodation. I would’ve expected everything to work properly for the price you’re paying. The staff were friendly and helpful and that’s the only positive takeaway. The WiFi did not work in the room so unable to use the TV. Unable to book chairs at the pool even though you’re a guest. Not the experience we thought we’d have a hotel like this.

small for the price

there’s no feeling of service at all.

Williamsbourg is great!
The staff were really friendly and thoughtful. Left us a little gift in the room wishing us a happy anniversary.
The views of the city from the room and the roof top bar is breath taking.
Our room 1902 was next to lifts which you here through the whole night with loud banging noises. If you a light sleeper it will really be a problem for you.
The carpet in room and floor could do with replacing/ renewing soon. Not a deal breaker but noticeable.

Great size rooms which were clean and functional.
The elevators need some serious repair, for a hotel that is 'winning' awards by Forbes and other establishments these need a serious upgrade, at one point another guest and I were unable to press the button to the lobby so we had to ride the lift to the next stop where a staff member happened to be, explained the situation and their solution was to really aggressively 'punch' the button with brutal force. The rooftop bar is stunning with the views that it offers but the service was sub par and the cocktails were two of the worst we have ever had anywhere in the world

The pool, the balcony, the bar, the rooftop restaurant! It is a really beautiful hotel! Beautiful! I stayed in the Gotham King. It has a bed and a couch.
Nothing
4.1
Paying for the use of the pool and the separation of guests. Public is allowed to use property and taking away availability of guest.
Elevators very slow
Common space very warm in July.

Bed was comfortable but very soft and plush. Shower pressure was great and Le Labo bath products were lovely. Room was clean when we arrived, mini bar was stocked with everything you might need including a charging cable. Robes were great! Nice view of manhattan from our balcony.
Hair dryer was a budget brand from the drug store. For a hotel rated 5 stars, I would expect the tech to meet that rating. Our room wasn't cleaned while we were out during the day even though we had requested it. The bed was very soft, if you prefer to sleep on a firm bed this would be very uncomfortable. Couldn't access the pool because the elevators were weird. sometimes the doors didn't open, sometimes the buttons didn't work. Free pool chairs are far from the pool.

liked the property but seems strange that it was as expensive as Manhattan.
the lifts made a strange knocking sound which kept me awake until people stopped moving around - at around 11.30 pm

Potential guests need to know about the day-long-full-volume-raging-Sunday-party that will shake the windows of your room for hour after hour so you can't think or breathe calmly. Do not stay here on Sundays--it's like being trapped inside a pulsating club playing music suited to lobotomies and torture.
The hotel is trashy in the sense that you can vie for a reservation to swim only to be told that it'd cost many hundreds of dollars more to set your towel or things down within 50 feet of the pool. Enjoy that long, senseless, and soggy walk to get your towel from far, far away yonder in the chilly morning breezes when you're the only guest using the pool. That's one example of the hotel's nickel-and-diming chintzy practices. It felt sad and creepy...and like they'd love it if we'd all make a wish a toss our change into the pool before leaving because an extra $13 a day would be cause for them to celebrate.

Loved it all! Valet parking available, great staff, great room with balcony & killer view, great mini-bar & refreshment options, great toiletries (Le Labo!) and overall great value! And pet-friendly to boot.
No complaints!
4.1
Great location and view from the room and rooftop.
Rooms need updating. Cloth bed frame had very visible wear and bed uneven/old. Balcony has not been cleaned in a while.
Delivery fee and admin fee for room service was not disclosed on menu and is frankly unbelievable at a “luxury” hotel.
4.1
Fantastic views from the Gotham room with a wonderful balcony overlooking Manhattan
Not particularly clean with hair from previous guests all over the room; extreme noise coming from the outdoor nightclub located right opposite the hotel (74Wythe); no sockets anywhere and no USB charging stations; only one nightstand on one side of the bed (surprising in a 5-star hotel); room service is a rip-off with excessive surcharges; pizza we ordered to the room was burnt, which appears to be the speciality of the restaurant on the ground floor

reception staff and room
beds are to soft if you ask me and the breakfast was below expectations. We went out for breakfast for a week and this was the least.
