The room was very comfortable with a welcoming and efficient layout. The beddings were so comfortable that we looked up the manufacturer! I also appreciated the artwork by local artists throughout the hotel; it made our stay so different from cookie-cutter hotels that have standardized artwork. The meals were excellent (we had breakfast and dinner). I also enjoyed the quiet library space for working one morning.
The wifi was sometimes spotty in our room, but it was great in the library.

We loved our stay at your beautiful Hotel. Great location and really nice staff. The room was so clean and inviting that we can't wait to come back for another visit.
No complaints whatsoever

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Very quaint, historic hotel and area. Fun little town to explore! Room was lovely, spacious and super comfy and clean. Restaurant was wonderful had dinner and breakfast! Definitely plan to return.
Loved everything, if I were too improve on anything I would get different bathroom towels - not as soft as I would like

Room was upgraded to a suite which was a phenomenal extra! Location was great and the breakfast at the Peck and Plume was super! Even had free electric charging stations for my car!!

The general decor was quite appealing.
Had requested for delayed checkout but was denied stating that the hotel was fully booked. I seriously doubt that reason though. Even if that was true, I would expect a bit more of accommodation.

It was a quick walk to the performing art center. Which was why I was there. The room was very quiet and the bed was very soft.
The parking was a pain.

This is the most cozy and warm hotel in the Raleigh area. The staff was hospitable and attentive. The check-in / check-out was seemless.
If I had to nitpick, I would say that the restaurant needs to be open longer. There are only a couple of hours for each meal. The bar closed at 9.

I liked the bathroom and the sheets were clean. The view was nice.
The customer service was okay but for the price that I was paying I was expecting more smiles and more genuineness.
I really didn't care for the customer service at the Peck and Plume especially at the bar. It felt like they couldn't wait for you to leave.
The lack of parking was slightly annoying. Overall my experience was okay. I'm not sure I'll stay here again to be honest.
For a cheaper price and the same experience I could go to the Hampton Inn.

The inn was lovely and the staff was outstanding. I asked for distilled water for my CPAP. Although the desk said you had none, the label on the bottled water in our room said "distilled". You should let your staff know in case another guest has the same request.
Breakfast and room both too expensive. I expected the breakfast to be included and the room on one night was twice that on the website. Why charge for coffee in the dining room when you give it free in our room and the lobby?

The Breakfast is one of the reasons we like the Mayton, and the area.
Parking is always an issue however we found a spot pretty close this time.

The building is clean and new and quiet, with beautiful art in the hallways. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our suite was also clean and shiny, elegant and very comfortable. Room service breakfast was delicious, although we had issues with the accuracy of our order. You can't beat the location in Cary.
Restaurant (and room service) was closed on Sunday evening, there is currently some construction noise from next door (but with adjustable white noise built into the room!), the shower/bathtub wasn't anything special, and the room's walls are an odd shade of lavender. I'm being nit-picky... It's a lovely place to stay overall.

I had a lovely mother daughter stay with my mom at the Mayton - my first time. We were so impressed with the friendly staff, the beautiful and elegant atmosphere, the quality upgrades and embellishments that made our room and the entire property so lovely. Everywhere you look you see quality. Every encounter with staff - we felt appreciated, welcomed and catered to. The brunch at Peck & Plume was delicious! I highly recommend this hotel if you want a beautiful, all inclusive place to say with excellent customer service!
There were no sheets or blankets or extra pillows in the room, I did call for some but I was surprised that there wasn’t any there. I also didn’t see any instructions phone numbers or the token Bible in the room. I was surprised that they didn’t have any phone numbers to call for local attractions

The location was perfect. The dinner and breakfast delicious. The atmosphere in the dining area was not real " cozy" but the food made up for it. Staff very helpful although i was expecting a rollaway bed and did not get it. They did put our two rooms next to each other and bent over backwards to help us with our surprise birthday girls weekend.

Self parking was difficult
