the hosts (kitty + mark) are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. fantastic location between fresh pond and mount auburn cemetery. a 5 min walk to delicious cafe, sofra. it’s like an adult hostel, do we also met other sweet people. all around, a great stay experience!
public spaces were a bit sparse, didn’t naturally invite gathering among the various interesting people.

I was happy with it. No issues.

Clean, room and bed. The owner's apartment is right next to the unit they gave us.
Contactless entry. I didn't even see the owner. On the phone, he was very friendly. However, he entered the apartment early in the morning (6am) and we felt like we are under surveillance. I think it was unnecessary just for the future bookings. But, overall there were no issues.

Excellent locale. Close to bus route.
Beautiful re-done vintage home. Host went out of his way to make me feel welcome.
Honestly I can't come up with anything.

We had a wonderful stay. Clean, quiet, and it's centrally located.

The room was pleasant and affordable and in a nice location. The pond nearby is lovely, and there are good cafes adn restaurants just down the street. A perfect place for a near-Boston stay if you have a car or a taxi budget.
The door cannot be closed, meaning anyone else in the shared house could walk into the room at any time. This is the only negative aspect of our stay, but it is a significant issue.

Very clean, friendly host spacious living area and kitchen.
Very thin walls. We woke up every day shortly after 5am, because someone in the rooms above us was walking around.

The location is close to everything. Just several bus stops away from Harvard & MIT. The setting is family friendly. I really enjoyed the stay!

Super clean and lovely place. Was delightful to stay here after a long haul flight. Kitty was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Very clean, air conditioning in each room, roomy kitchen, lots of windows. Soft clean towels. Very quiet, lovely neighborhood. In walking distance to great restaurants and a very lovely pond/park.
Only one bathroom for 3 rooms., but roomy, very clean and quality soap and shampoo provided.

This was my first experience outside of the normal hotel. It far exceeded my expectations. Mark was in contact with me during my flight to coordinate arrival. The space was comfortable and clean. My son and I stayed in a room adjacent to a shared living room, bath room and kitchen. We bought groceries at the nearby store and cooked most of our meals during the 1-week stay. There are two bus stops in close proximity. The public transportation in Boston is awesome. There was no noise or any problem with the shared space. The owner was incredibly pleasant and a gracious host. We had a cancellation with the flight out and the owner made accommodations for us. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.
The trashcan was a little small but, in fairness, we probably generated more than the normal amount of trash.

Owner was friendly and helpful. The accommodation was spacious and clean.

Clean updated and very well kept. Nice residential neighborhood without the dreaded parking permits. Mark is an exceptional host . Courteous and responsive
One bathroom is shared. Not a problem unless your roommates decide to take an hour shower at the while playing tinny music on their cell phone at 11:30 pm and all you wanted to do is urinate before going to bed 🤬
4.5
Clean, comfortable, great communication with Kitty, and parking
Would have liked to be able to lock my door while I was out...
