We stayed in the Neptune room and it was excellent. Will return.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great!
It would have been better if there was at least a small desk/table.

My room key was left for me without a problem after I requested a late check-in.
Would like to have had coffee in my room. There was no coffee in the break area, albeit it was close to my room.

Location near beaches and lighthouse on St. Georges Island, close proximity to restaurants.
Bed not comfortable, room not clean, found mold on bathroom tiles, we decided not to stay.

The location of the inn was good. Enjoyed my stay on St. George Island.
What was disappointing was mainly the bed linens and towels. They were very old and threadbare. Had the linens been newer would have enjoyed my stay at the inn much more. Also the door lock to the outside is broken. The staff tried to help on this issue and thought it was locked but it wasn’t. Just a little tweaking on bed linens and towels and locks that actually work would make it perfect place to stay for the price

Right in the middle of SGI, easy to walk to restaurants and ice cream places and bars. Nice to sit on the 2nd floor porch and watch the world go by.
Amanda at front desk was very personable and easy going and helpful.
Bed was bad - Bayview-room bed was like a V, slanted toward the middle.

No elevator, old musty ,

The porch where we spent most of our time when we were at our room
This inn is very outdated. Rooms are very small. No dresser to put your clothes, no way to regulate the air conditioning and for us it was to cold. Shower had no water pressure and was hard to regulate the water temperature.

Staff was very friendly and responsive. Bed was comfortable. Location was fantastic.
Room was pretty beat up - the place has been used hard and needs to be refurbished. Couldn't plug in fridge and coffee pot at same time due to power strip / circuit issues. Roof deck was cramped and noisy with hot air blowing from A/C in the cramped space.

Location & vintage style
The bed was horrible

The bed and linens were awesome. We enjoyed being so close to the beach without paying to high prices to stay in a vacation rental that was directly on the beach
Not super clean. The bathroom was adequate, but towels were small, thin, poor quality.

great location/great walking distance to all fun things near, very comfortable beds, clean room, quiet and calm, lots of privacy, cute puppies in front lobby.
water pressure/temperature is kinda EH
it kept changing from hot to cold while I was showering.

It was quite and comfortable which is perfect right after a day at the beach and it was right next to the beach so not a far walk/drive either
Absolutely nothing

The view from 3rd floor room was great!
I got the worst night sleep ever. I woke up and felt paralyzed in my legs because the mattress was so worn out I was in a hole no matter which side I slept on. My father stayed with me and slept on the pull out sofa and also had the most uncomfortable sleep experience ever as the mattress was smaller then the frame of the sofa bed frame so he felt as if he was in a hole as well because it just sunk in. The water pressure in the bathroom sink and shower were awful. it took me 25 minutes to rinse off because the water pressure was so weak.

It was clean and quiet
I had a twisted ankle so the stairs were hard for me

No breakfast, love the building, and location!
Loved it all

Community Keurig coffee maker in the hallway with Starbucks coffee. Charming old building with lots of character. Air conditioner worked great. King size bed was comfy. Large room with lots of space. Nice products in the bathroom.
We had roaches in our room. There was a very large roach on the ceiling. We tried to kill it, but it got away. I could not sleep that night worrying about where it went. For every one roach you see, there are hundreds you can't see. When I told the girl at the front desk the next morning, she didn't seem surprised and only said she'd tell the "bug person" to spray. Water stains on the ceiling. The door to the porch/veranda did not close properly and bugs/humidity/heat from outside could get in. The bathroom was large, but old with a tiny sink and no counterspace. The vent was full of dust and lint. The light fixture was full of dead bugs. They wanted to charge us $45 for a late 2 pm checkout. The room was $300.

We were basically exploring. We know more now about which rooms to ask for.
Our room faced the backside of a stucco building, not the view I like when staying at the beach

it was a very cute little place and jus perfect for a night stay.
The room was very cold, there is no way to control the air but with a pair of socks, I was fine.

location, good coffee stand
there really wasn’t anything we did not like

nothing
We chose a room that is advertised as balcony with a gulf view. The view was a tiny look of the water miles out with buildings, townhouses and a lighthouse blocking any respectable view. In my opinion, the room was most likely a poorly renovated attic. Dark and dingy. They gave you a tiny towel (one) that was a bit larger than a hand towel. We didn’t stay, got a partial refund which I haven’t even seen yet. Big disappointment.

The location is great. The hotel is updated but could improve a little bit more the beds..
