The house is beautiful. The room is a little bit small but very clean. Breakfast was very good and the host sat with us and we had a very interesting conversation.

Driving through many small towns in the Finger Lakes area, it was such a bonus to actually stay in a stately home and see how grand they might have been in their heyday. This property was so quiet, so beautifully maintained, so welcoming. Owners were on site, friendly, interested and obviously committed to their work. Excellent communication, knew the village and area well to offer recommendations for dinner and leisure activities. Small touches made a lasting impression, hot and cold beverages available to enjoy inside or on the lovely porch, well appointed dining area for a very nice homemade breakfast and very lovely quality of cutlery and dishware. Perhaps not appreciated by all, but it made a difference to my experience that care was taken in the table settjng

The rooms and cleanliness were comfortable, clean and fresh. Madison was welcoming and charming. Water and sofdrink were provided free. Thank you.
I would have been more comfortable if food and drink other than water ( water only was allowed in room) were allowed in our rooms. I truly enjoy coffee first thing in the morning. If breakfast could have been earlier with a running coffee pot early this would have made my SO and I, more at ease. The stay felt fluffy, stuffy and pompous. I was looking for comfort.

This house is a real find. Could have easily found something cheaper like Holiday Inn but wanted a real taste of North America. The house has been expertly restored and furnished, it looks like it belongs in a period drama. I have been an antique furniture restorer, and I was taken in by the artifacts adorning the house. Some are genuine antiques most are reproductions, you cannot tell until you look at the labels.
Breakfasts are to die for. As an English man breakfasts here was totally different from the UK. I could not have breakfast like here at home, not without putting on the pounds
There was nothing to dislike. We can all find fault, I'm sure if I put my mind to it I can find something. Not here, nothing to complain about.
Just a word of warning, if you cannot manage a flight of stairs you need to make a decision about having a room up stairs, there is no lift

Beautiful historic home with sensitive convenient updates. The staff were kind and friendly. Everything was clean and comfortable, and close to Waterloo and Seneca Falls historic sites. The McClintock house was two minutes walk, and Seneca Falls was a five minute drive.
Absolutely no complaints it was wonderful

The breakfast was phenomenal. The hosts were personable and likeable. The facilities were well kept and clean.
Nothing. Everything was worth the cost and then some.

The breakfasts were creative, exceptional and filling. The house was nicely decorated to match the time period it was originally built.
A room with two beds ( twin or full, or a roll away bed, perhaps) might be good to offer.

The inn is a stately old home, pleasant in interior appearance; the breakfasts that were served were excellent. My room was located away from the street and therefore quiet. The hosts were friendly and helpful.
It would have been good if my bathroom did not also open into the central hallway (two doors, one leading to the hall and the other to my room). The exterior is less attractive than the interior though work is in process and it is a minor point. The bed was a bit soft for my back.

the proximity to Seneca Falls, Lake Seneca, Cayuga Lake, and Geneva is wonderful. lodging was very comfortable, owners of the inn are caring, friendly people; breakfasts were very good!

The location was great! Restaurants within walking distance. On street parking with the police station right across the street!
I didn't realize from the photos and descriptions of the rooms that my room would have the tub/shower and the sink literally at the foot of the bed. Everything in one room except the toilet. It seems as though everyone has raved about the breakfast fixed by the Chef with the culinary background. However, when I was there, the main course was scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a slice of ham. I expected something more than that.

The location was quite accessible to local attractions and easy to find. The staff was very welcoming. The 3-course breakfast was outstanding and Stephanie was quite enjoyable and entertaining as she served our delicious fare.
The Academy Room was cozy and the bathroom was spacious and very clean.
One bed in the Academy Room was a bit squeaky as it’s inhabitant would toss and turn.
