The facility was beautiful, part of the staff and the general manager, not so friendly.

We frequently stay in Holiday Inn’s and this one was new so it was clean and very nice. No complaints at all about the facility, itself.

I wasn’t crazy about some of the staff, including the GM. We were there because my husband had appointments at Saint Al, a stroke center. He’s had several major strokes which have left him disabled, and he has TIA’s (mini strokes), frequently, along with seizures. He has a service dog who’s been trained to detect when a TIA or a seizure is about to happen so that my husband can lie down or get into a sitting position. Service animals don’t need special vests where we are from and I suppose the woman, who told him she was the GM, didn’t believe him? I was out of the hotel one day and my husband stayed behind. He was walking around the property with his dog and he said he was approached more than once by this woman who continued to question him about his dog. He said that she approached him multiple times and made him uncomfortable. The issue I have with this is that if there was a problem, why have me fill out the appropriate paperwork upon check in? My husband has cognitive damage that has all but wiped his short term memory. He can’t always think clearly nor can he defend himself. I went searching for her after I returned to the hotel but I, personally, never saw her for the remainder of our stay. After that day, the front desk staff was unwelcoming to us and some were less than that. I suspect it had something to do with the GM. On a positive note, the bartenders at Burger Theory were great and the housecleaning staff were all very sweet. We have further appointments at St. Al while we come up with a game plan to get his strokes under control and we will definitely be staying elsewhere.

The food was great. The rooms were immaculate and gave a warm, relaxing feel.. Very friendly staff.

The water pressure in the shower was very low.

Other than the headboard the stay was pleasant.

The headboard on the bed had dried liquid on it. Wasn’t quite sure what it was. Also sticky palm print. I cleaned it.

I like the coffee machines being trialled in the foyer.

Whilst the foyer and downstairs facilities were nice, the rooms weren't particularly flash considering the price.

Friendly and efficient staff.

The staff was very friendly and the Happy Hour prices were terrific. It is also was really clean and close to the Ford Center.

It was on the expensive side.

Great place and would definitely be my choice if in the area again.

Very clean and welcoming. Justin was very nice and helpful to us, which made the stay more enjoyable. kudos to him.

We had just one little hiccup with the stay. if we were told I don’t remember but my friend didn’t hear either that we had to hang some on the door for cleaning service. I found out from one of the housekeepers. the placard she showed me for full or partial cleaning was not in the room. so I got some towels and washcloths from her and it was fine. I mentioned to the front desk they may want to make sure one of those was in the room.

Shower head wasn't great. Too high and not Able To be adjusted down. But everything else was great. Bed was super comfy.

Good stay but cleanliness was not good.

Beds and pullows comfy, good room layout, and locstion was great, very close to shopping.

Cleanliness was not good. Room was clean but there was dried red fluid on the door to the bathroom which could have been blood. The door was very gross on both sides and there were a few stains on the adjacent wall coming out of the bathroom. I dont use hotels often but you have to have clean doors and walls, I tried not to touch the actual bathroom door which was awkward.

Superb

Location was great, easy to find right off the freeway and close to shops and restaurants.

No coffee pot in the room so I had to get dressed in the morning to go to the front desk area to make coffee, although it was good coffee

Very good

The people were nice

They couldn't explain why my card was charged multiple times and we were told they would just fall off and they didn't. So for a business charging for things they should be able to explain why I was double charged.

I have had a great time enjoying my stay in the building. I visited my parents and they were happy.

Absolutely delicious. The kitchen is neat and clean. Love the coffee, It's my favorite scenery

It was fine but we won’t stay here again!

It was brand new!

The bed wasn’t comfortable at all! No food/breakfast at all but said it had free breakfast. Staff made no adjustment on bill because the kitchen was down. And they were very friendly. The room was so over decorated we felt cramped in our room.

Disappointed

Rooms are decent. The restaurant downstairs has good food and fair prices.

Booking.com isn't synced properly to this hotel. Our double twin room was changed to 2 king rooms upon arrival. They said that there was nothing that they could do and that is what booking.com sent over.

Superb

It posted a breakfast buffet. Sunday morning they only served people that had a breakfast coupon. So if you did not have a coupon there was no breakfast. At 6:30am we were very disappointed. They said it was because the kitchen wasn't open. How did those with coupons get breakfast?

Great location

We enjoyed having a pool. The bar/restaurant is handy, however the restaurant closed early so we were not able to eat there.

The room we had was noisy due to outside traffic noise, children yelling in the adjoining room, and guests talking in the hall outside the room. Next time I will ask for a room on the other side of the building.
