It was clean, it accepted pets. There was no bad smell in the room. No problem with parking. It was easy to get in and out of the parking lot.

The breakfast was good, lots of variety.
Our room wasn't cleaned at all and at check-in, we were not told about housekeeping prototcol. We ended up forgetting to ask. It would have been good to have it tidied up once during our stay.

Nothing the beds are horrible, the hotel is under construction and they kept asking to shampoo the carpet while we were there when we had a baby with us. You can not walk to any of the stores because there are no sidewalks. This is not a place for a family.

Didn’t have breakfast?
The vent fan in the bathroom doesn’t work, and we found dried blood on the underside of the sheet on the bed closest to the AC after we were packing to leave.

Breakfast wasn’t bad .
The couch had stains all over it as well as some sort of stains on the ceiling in the room . The toilet constantly ran . There were clothes left from previous guests in our room . Just wasn’t like it use to be . Definitely seems like they don’t care as much about the place as when they did before .

location was perfect, short drive straight to downtown Charleston.
Carpet looked a little dated.

We loved the layout of the room and how nice everything looked when we got there. John, who worked the front desk at night, was great and super friendly.
There was never any service to the room, and we ran out of toilet paper the last day. We were not told, nor were there signs, that the room would not be serviced. When we checked out, the staff was very unfriendly and told us that the room would not be serviced unless requested. We also went to use the pool the last day and found it dirty. the front desk staff told us that it is only cleaned once or twice a week(it was a very busy time), and they blamed management for lack of care. The only staff member who was pleasant and actually seemed to be working when we left was an older woman who was cleaning. Additionally, the fitted sheets on the bed were not the right size and would not stay down, and the original sheets for the fold out were dirty (John got us new ones though). This hotel has a lot of promise as it is in a great location and the only one in the immediate area with an indoor pool, but when the staff has an attitude of not caring then it ruins the experience and make the place nasty.

location is convenient, and choose this hotel for indoor pool
the pool water was extremely cold, had many guest complain as we were in the pool, had to come out due to cold temperatures. advised front desk staff about it, the receptionist tried to go outside and place the temperature 84 degrees but the pool water didn’t reflect that. after 2 days, pool was out of order. Stayed 7 days and I never asked but once for housekeeping to clean my room as we had spilled liquid medicine accidentally on bedding. S. Nelson had promised that the head housekeeper would clean the room ( 24 hr notice is needed) and I was not made aware of this policy as checked in and not listed on booking.com. the room never got cleaned. I had spoken with general manager Mr. Peter and he reassured me that a 1 night refund was on its way. when I proceeded to checkout, I was overcharged $200, and they never honored my booking.com reservation price that I made for the room. S. Nelson, assistant manager could not figure out how to do this billing correctly. And, proceeded to walk away from me and gave the problem of checking out to sales manager. I was treated very unprofessionally by S. Nelson who supposed to help the customer and resolve issues and not make matters worse.

The breakfast was ok. It offered waffles which my kids and I like. It didn't have a great variety of fruit. No bananas which I eat with breakfast daily. I brought some with me for this reason.
The chair in hotel room was dirty. The door in the bathroom wouldn't open and close completely.
