Clean and cozy.
Has a big bathroom with jetted tub. Very clean and has a beautiful view from the huge picture window. Very quiet! Location was great, close to beaches and places to eat.

It was very private yet convenient. It was warm and cozy with an beautiful view. The bathroom was exquisite.
Can’t think of anything
4.1
Very quiet location, comfortable bed,
Room was smaller than I expected.
4.1
clean, location, and yard for pets
we rented two rooms the Zen room was perfect, however, the other suite I believe it ways called the bay room , while very nice and clean, it had a sewer odor like a pipe was leaking. other then that our stay was wonderful. we will be back 7/2023

Staff was very helpful and courteous. They helped to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were decorated with a cute theme. Loved the ocean view and the comfort of the king size bed.
When we moved onto the Cozy Corner on Tuesday, the linens were a bit damp but was able to dry things out. Also, we were never able to get the fireplace lit nor get the furnace to come on. The coffee pot should have some instructions as I couldn't figure it out. Also, the screen door needs to be replaced.

Coffee available and Anne was an angel in contacting office people, when we had the wrong key to room.
No coffee stirrers. When I checked in no one was there at 4:10pm. Drove to room & key didn’t work. Called Hank at 6:15pm and he said go back to office & hung up. The office closes at 6pm.

Cozy room
Bit too far out of town to be ideal

Didn't like looking at the parking area when drapes open.

great location, beautiful setting
kitchen needs to move microwave above sink so there’s counter space

Our room was lovely, inviting, and very cozy. We very much enjoyed the vibe of the place and the proximity to the ocean as well as the nearby towns we came to explore.
I have no reservations about the choice we made in coming to the Inn at Buckhorn Cove.

The room was very clean and cozy, with a beautiful ocean view! Pleasant and relaxing environment, the entire ambiance felt very homey! We’ll definitely go back…

Close to Mendocino and the ocean.
No view; pretty stark.

The patio divider between each unit should have a privacy.

Having a private kitchen saved us a lot! And the huge bathtub was great

The room was nice and we ended up having the property to ourselves the two days we were there.
The room was freezing when we arrived and the spare heater didn’t work. We had to wait while the gas fire place warmed the room. The outside light for the room also didn’t work, so it was very dark and we had to use light from our phones to see the door and open it with the keys. The whole property was actually very dark at night and it would have been nice to have it better lit, especially for pulling out of the driveway. Also, on Sunday night, there were what I assume to be staff members doing laundry in the laundry room and they were talking so loud, we could hear them right through our walls.

updated, cozy, close by, nice area and outside was kept nice
didn’t see remote for fire, some ants but not bad, need stir sticks for coffee

Loved the big picture window, the fireplace, and the jacuzzi tub. The Zen suite was clean and updated.
I liked everything. The only thing that could have made it better is if it had been beachfront property.
4.1
No breakfast was offered. Coffee was supplied. Only one tea bag was available
The room had a lovely view, was decorated nicely. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. But,
a big tub in a severe drought location gives mixed message imho.
Well there should have been more than one tea bag available.
It was disappointing to have very low batteries on the TV remote control. David took them out and
did something and then it worked slowly. Emphasis on enjoying tub and spa but in a severe drought, we wouldn't even consider the big tub. I took a quick shower. He did not. We're paying for things and encouraged not to use them.

For the price, it was better than expected.
Floors, toilet and shower were new and clean.
The room was large and spacious.
Outside area and facilities could be better maintained, but it did not impact our stay.
4.1
Bed not comfortable.
Bed slid forward on floor.
Not enough outlets.
Poor ventilation.
Very balky screen door to deck.

Not much, definitely overpriced.
Location and overpriced.

Comfortable beds, good coffee, dog friendly, dog run area. Other rooms had pretty flowers. Private entrance. Close to a beautiful beach by Van Damm.
I read that there was a trail to the beach close by which was not true. Maybe a mile so that affects my rating. The forest Den room had a bad view of the propane tank15 feet from our door I would strongly suggest pitting up a lattice so the berry vines could be nicer to look at

Location excellent. Spent a whole day at Buckhorn Cove beach--you should mention it in your literature in the rooms.
Could have been quieter--we could definitely hear our neighbors in Forest (we were in Meadow) even though they were not loud. And the ridge was loud so I unplugged it.
We also had trouble with the gas fire remote--had to use the forbidden on/off wall swith to turn it off, because the remote was useless.

The view and the grounds were beautiful. It was very private.
The price was a little high Cobain it did not include breakfast. The sofa was worn, but the rest of the apartment was very nice. The bathroom sink did not drain well. I am not sure if they advertised the room for disabled accommodations, but it would have benefited from grab bars for the toilet and shower. Also, it was have been nice to have a step to use the deck.
