Very cute, cozy, and quaint!

Our little cottage was so quaint and adorable! We loved the little extra touches upon arrival, like a welcome note, a small bottle of wine, dog bowls, and dog treats. We loved the little binder that provided a history of the inn. The fenced yard was very convenient for us to let our dog out to potty, as well. Many times, we saw rabbits in the yard! Luckily, our dog is only interested in smelling the bushes and was unfazed by the rabbit. Also, we absolutely loved the window view over the property/of the ocean. Overall, a cute little stay!!

The walls were a bit thin, and it would have been nice to have a bigger sink other than just the bathroom sink so we could wash our dog's feeding bowls more comfortably, but this is a small cottage and we knew what we signed up for so not really a con on the inn's part, more just a little inconvenience that I'm happy to overlook because of how cozy of a stay it is :)

If you want something not too fancy, just outside town.

It was quiet.

It looks neglected with the garden abandoned and the room wasn’t super clean. Hot water flow was so weak that we could barely take a shower.

The Inn at Schoolhouse Creek is perfect spot for a relaxing get away to restore your spirit.

We stayed in the Captain's Watch. The bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed that there was a hottub and a walkin shower. Even though the weather was cloudy/foggy we sat out on the deck every day and took in the view of the ocean. It was very peaceful and quiet. We used the coffeepot and microwave and mini-fridge.

Very sloppy housekeeping-dirty floors, a little mold in the bathroom shower, fitted sheet not properly attached, comforter cover not buttoned.

Our cottage was so comfy. The bed and pillows were especially good. This may have been the pet friendliest place I've been. Dishes, treats, a bed, poop bags... And literature about pet friendly places around here. Oh, the little bottle of wine for the humans was lovely, too... Not cheap stuff.

We texted with staff but never met them. Maybe this is endemic life? I don't love it. But I see complaints from other guests and I just can't agree. This place is relaxing and cozy. We'd return.

was not as promised and not worth the price.

the property was pretty. the room itself was nice with high wooden A frame ceiling and wood floors.

we were told that there was a hot tub and a restaurant in the property and you can walk to a private beach. once there, we were told that the hot tub was too expensive to heat in the winter and there wasn’t a restaurant. There was not a path to the beach either. the bathroom shower and sink were dated and not really clean.

Good location

I booked two beds and two bedrooms. There was one bedroom with a decent bed and the living room had a TERRIBLLE sofa bed that my wife and I had to suffer for three nights. There was consequently nowhere for our guests to sit and enjoy and basically there was no separate space for us or them. The cottage was small; leaning and the internet basically was useless.

Ants in the room upon arrival, needs updating and attention to simple maintenance, like light bulbs (?). The check-in is very impersonal. When we couldn’t find our room due to an ambiguous map and no signage on the building, the host came out and acted as though we were stupid for not finding it. Really rude. As someone who has hosted an AirBnb, bad way to greet your customer.

Beautiful grounds and peaceful.

Room was a tad to small for 3 people. The curtains were open for our arrival making the room extremely hot and stuffy with the afternoon sun as the room was facing to the west. Very difficult to cool the room down.

Location and staff were great. The sleeping accomidation, not so much.

The location was nice, it would have been nice to know ahead of time that the Spa and restaurant were closed as those were part of the reason we chose the location. The Staff was very friendly and helpful and it was very nice to receive personalized greetings in our room for us and our dog.

For the price we paid, the room did not meet our expectations. The pullout couch was very uncomfortable and old. I would suggest getting something newer and more comfortable as people are actually planning on sleeping on them. Maybe a futon would have been better.

Beautiful location, close to the beaches, city . Place is very clean and beautifully decorated . Bed very comfortable . Super dog friendly , they had beds , towels and dog dishes . They also had a complimentary bottle of wine , coffee and tea
