The location was convenient to the ferry and Main Street for restaurants, shops, and bars.

There was no TV in the room. We had a private bathroom in our room but most rooms on the property share bathrooms. If we didn’t have a private bathroom we would not have stayed there.

Cleggs hotel is my new favorite place to stay on fire island. I will definitely be back!

Great location right when you get off the ferry. Next door to a convenient store. Bike rental, beach chairs and umbrella included with your stay!!

Nothing. Poor quality place to stay no amenities just bed

Ms As a business owner. I tried to help this man bc he mostly has teenagers stay at his hotel. He usually gets 1-2 rating. There r no amenities. No tv just a bed booked this hotel in Aug just to get away for few nights. We had hurricane warnings ferries we're being cancelled. Did not want to get stuck there bc everything would prob close and fire island gets flooded sometimes. Was concerned of weather there and at my own home with hurricane warnings everywhere . This man owner took my money despite weather conditions. I did call but his desk is very hard to reach with only certain window times that . Someone is at desk. Left message ,stated I was cancelling due to weather which was posted everywhere but said they did not receive. I tried to dispute my 3 day charge . Anyway. I Was very upset. People know the weather conditions there. It is not pleasant in fire island if there is a hurricane. With limited ferry Rides I Was concerned on being stuck there and evacuated, so I did not want to spend all money on ferry and rooms. Owner Did not offer refund. Took all my money for 3 days. This is poor business on how to treat ppl. Just terrible!! Will never go or recommend stay to anyone !!! Better places to go for sure !!! Total disappointment of how u treat your customers. Would never treat my customers this way !! Keep my money to which u did anyways. I will never return and find much better places to stay. Frank

Hidden treasure

Hotel is right across ferry terminal and the police department making it easy, convenient and safe for solo travelers. The hotel is in the heart of ocean Beach, with many restaurants and bars in close proximity. I stayed in a full size Room, and the bathrooms where communal with access code. my room came with spare towels, and bath care, and a umbrellas with folding chairs for an easy trip to the beach. Staff was polite and friendly. They even called in advance to make sure I had all the information I needed to arrive to the location since you can’t come here by car. Other options to get here are water taxis. Over all my stay felt like a home away from home. I definitely want to keep coming back and highly recommend it.

I wouldn’t return not worth the money

Location was convenient. We traveled off season so not much going on.

No tv. Not much to do. Locals not really helpful or friendly. For off season price was ridiculous. Room was dated and uncomfortable and old.

Great location in a n expensive, but still shabby though clean hotel.

The manager was very friendly and helpful but not often around. Great location. However, the room is very shabby (though clean enough) and the internet was bad.

Bad internet. Primitive bathroom. Shabby room.

Great stay because Fire Island is fantastic.

Location could not be better. Right by the ferry. Really nice and friendly staff. Room was small and very simple, but you are right by the beach and fantastic restaurants so if you do not plan to spend any time at the hotel it was great.

As the rooms were really small and simple, for that price I think they could have done more of a charming decor.
