Beautiful five bedroom home nestled in the hearth of Ocean Beach. Short walk to Beach, Ferry, Restaurants and night life. Perfect for large families to make memories for a lifetime. First floor has three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms. An en suite bathroom, beautiful living room. Hardwood floors throughout. Gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Second floor Master Bedroom, full living room, full bathroom, additional bedroom. Air-conditioning throughout. A deck off of the kitchen which makes it ideal for entertaining. Also a quiet private small deck for sitting out and reading a book away from it all. Ideal for a large family get togeather.

This 5-bedroom house was comfortable and well-appointed for our 12-person extended family. Great kitchen -- easy to cook in and with plenty of seating -- and opens to a big deck. Only a block from the ocean where there was a big crew of lifeguards.

My extended family and I enjoyed our recent vacation at Tom's house. The house was comfortable and accommodated our vacation needs. There was plenty of beach chairs and towels for us all, and everything we needed at the house as well. Tom was always responsive if I had any questions from the start when I booked the house and while we were vacationing. Thanks for giving my family a great spot to make some fun family memories!

House was in very good condition and with the exception of the BBQ grill, very clean. Great privacy and location with a short walk to the village or in the other direction to the beach. TV with multiple services and bikes for the family. We had a wonderful week.

Ocean Beach getaway
Loved it! Perfect location between the restaurants and the beach. Loved just sitting on the front porch and watching people come and go from the beach. Also loved all the wall hangings with the fun quotes...we're all definitely "sliding in sideways". Beautiful home..perfect location..great, responsive owner...thank you!

Centrally located to town & beach. All of us loved the decor, so beach style. The deck with the long table was perfect for all of us to gather.

Family vacay 2022
The property worked perfectly for our family. Tom was a very gracious host. He provided all the essentials and a few extras. It was nice having a washer and dryer on property. The location was close to everything making it perfect for our group. The beach access was just a 5 minute walk as was the walk into town. There were also bikes available on the property for our use. All in all it was perfect. I highly recommend this rental.

Fire island’s Ocean Beach is such a laid back place to vacation—and Tom’s house was a perfect spot to enjoy it!! Fire island’s Ocean Beach is such a laid back place to vacation—and Tom’s house was a perfect spot to enjoy it!! Everything we needed was there; location was great; lots of space to relax—front porch, back deck, large kitchen, and second floor sitting area all made the 7 of us comfortable. We’ll be back!

Amazing Fire Island Vacation!
Just returned from a fabulous week in Ocean Beach. The house was amazing ... large clean kitchen with center island and granite countertops, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, multiple decks, and a/c! It is centrally located between town and the beach ... making it the perfect location. The house had it all ... washer, dryer, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, bikes, towels, blow dryer, paper goods, all the necessities! We had 3 generations celebrating at the home with room to spare! Can't wait to return! Carol and Tom are wonderful homeowners and so easy to work with!

Had a blast again on FI. The house was more than accommodating. We used all 5 bedrooms and had plenty of room for all. The kitchen was big and had everything you need. There are 4 ac wall units which cooled the house down with no complaints from the rug rats. The kids took over the upstairs while the adults stayed downstairs socializing. Everyone loved the outdoor shower which is the only reason I go over! Jk. The location is perfect which is only four houses down toward the beach from Midway. I highly recommend this house.

Just finished a wonderful week at the beach house with my three children, their spouses and four grandchildren. There was plenty of space for all and we all had a great time. The house is centrally located to both the beach and town. Hope to be back next year. Thank you Tom and Carol.

We have three kids 24, 20 and 18 and they all brought friends on different nights and had a ball. With couches and the rollaway bed that was there, this house easily sleeps 12-13. We had 8 adults, 3 college age grandchildren, 2 young teens , a 2 year old and twins who were 3 months old. The rooms were a nice size and very comfortable. Bathrooms great. The upstairs is like a little apartment with its own sitting area. The kitchen was well equipped and we prepared a few dinners and had terrific breakfasts and lunches in the kitchen and outdoors on the private deck.....Very roomy. The beach is just down the block and was wonderful. The owners are terrific to work with and they had all kinds of equipment to use like bikes which were enjoyed and also beach toys and chairs for our large group. Ocean Beach has wonderful restaurants which we are were able to walk to and enjoy. The house is close to the ferry and beach. We would definitely recommend this house to friends and relatives.

Perfect Fire Island Vacation House
We stayed in this house for the Memorial Day holiday and it was exactly what we were looking for. The house was a great size and great layout for our group with plenty of common areas to hang out in. The deck is private and was great for laying out during the day and BBQing, with just the right amount of sunlight and the fences blocking out the wind. It's conveniently located to both the beach and town. We've rented a lot of different properties on Fire Island over the years and this was by far one of our favorites. It was an easy process from start to finish with the owner and he was always very responsive and accommodating. We are looking forward to going back again soon.

Private House, Large Kitchen in Ocean Beach
We had a great time at our stay at 201 Cottage. The location is centrally located to both the beach and the town. Owners were great to work with and made the rental process smooth and easy. The house was fully stocked with all we needed for our stay. Great eat-in kitchen. We spent most of our time gathered there. Plenty of room for all. Only negative- 4th Full Size bed is not really in a bedroom. Rather a cubby off of the upstairs living room. A great space but no privacy. Would definitely rent here again!!!

My friends and I rented the house for a week in July and we had a great time. The house was very nice and conveniently located to the beach, ferry and town. There were bikes, beach towels, wagons and beach chairs for us to use which was really helpful. We would definitely go back and recommend renting this house for a relaxing beach getaway.

Perfect Family Vacation!
This house is in the perfect location--halfway to town and halfway to the beach. It also has the perfect layout inside--plenty of common space and bedrooms. The bathrooms, which are not pictured, are also very nice. The deck out back is very private is a great gathering place. The outdoor shower and washer and dryer were conveniently located too. We loved this property and Tom was always available and returned calls and e-mails quickly. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing trip to Ocean Beach!

I arrived knowing exactly what to expect, logistically, but feeling blown away by how beautiful the property was. The kitchen is gorgeous and updated, perfect for cooking big breakfasts and hanging out as a group. The house was clean and clearly well-cared for. All the bedding appeared to be practically brand new! Honestly, homes rarely live up to the photos, but this place was lovely. And Tom was a delight to work with--very solicitous to make sure we had what we needed and that everything went smoothly. If I'm ever in Fire Island again, I would absolutely love to stay here again. Thank you, Tom, for everything!

My family had a get together in this beautiful home last year. We had the best time together and there was room for the kids to hang out together upstairs while us adults enjoyed some laughs downstairs and out on the deck! We are hoping to get over again this year as everyone had a great time. the house is so clean, perfectly situated and spacious. It's one of the newest homes on ocean beach, with a location perfect for either beach or town dinners.

Great House, beautiful Beach, many amenities. Best 7000$ i have spend on a summer vacation in a long time, makes the whole family very happy. Centrally located on Fire Island for a quick water taxi ride to Kismet or the Grove. The most important quality of this house is the "relaxation factor", just makes you feel right at home as soon as you drop your bags at the front door. Also the house has the space to accommodate all those friends and family happen to stop by, looking forward to re-booking for summer 2014.

This house has everything that you need! As a beach house renter for years, it met the high standards expected. It has a stocked kitchen with plenty of glasses, dishes and silverware. The kitchen is easy to work in, with everything at a reachable distance. The table and counter chairs allows room for many to be seated for meals. The house has charming areas to socialize including a living room, a deck area with barbecue grill, and an area on the second floor that can house a crowd. Outside on the deck surrounding the house there are areas to sit and read a book quietly. The location is perfect with a short walk to the beach as well as into town where there is lots to avail yourself. Restaurants, shops and ice cream shops are plentiful. This is a perfect vacation spot. We enjoyed it so much last year that we are renting the house again this summer! Get a week while they are still available.
