Location, close to sleeping bear dunes!
The 1st night we had young children in the next room with only a locked door between . Of course kids are loud ! I thought the door was a closet for supplies till night when a Light was on and then crying and running around.
Also, I didn’t realize our room was upstairs but that was my fault for not understanding the description .

The home itself is beautiful! The staff & owner are amazing! The breakfast was great! The location to Sleeping Bear Dunes, very close! Hope to return sooner than later 🙂

It was a quaint house and the room we stayed in was awesome for our family of 5. The breakfast every morning was excellent and the staff was so friendly and super accommodating! It was also close to everyone we wanted to go!
There isn’t anything I can think of!

Cozy, wonderful location, beautiful scenery, friendly staff
4.5
Nice old house in woods, near to Sleeping Bear Dunes Stae park, very fiendly staff and owner, Holly, helpfull and really hospitable. Great breakfast, each day different items, made fresh.
Size of the bed, this is really too small for two adults.
3.5
Space and cleaness
The bed, it makes noise every time you make a movement on the bed.
Hot water, cannot take showers continuously. It will run out of hot water for the 3rd person. Only one small bottle of Shampoo and conditioner for 4 people. Can be a little bit more.0

Breakfast was excellent.
stairwell was steep but then that is to be expected in homes of that age.

Great location to Sleeping Bear Sand Dune area hikes and scenic drive.
Kylie was an energetic and friendly host. She took the time to give us many activity suggestions for the area...very helpful and a fun personality.
They offered to switch us to a larger room at no additional cost, since we were only guests for the first couple of nights. We were much more comfortable and greatly appreciated that.
Breakfast options were hot and good. Hiking snacks and bars were a nice gesture.
This is a really NEAT century-old farm house, so very steep stairs to upstair rooms. We were fine with stairs, but some older people would not be able to manage.

Beautiful trees and gorgeous historical building. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The downstairs and breakfast space is set up so you can either have some private time or visit with other guests.
we stayed in the Empire room, Which was a bit small for a couple. We weren’t too worried about this because there are so many interesting things to do in Empire we weren’t focused on hanging out in our room so it was a decent place to crash at the end of the day.

Location was great. The inn was very nice.
Due to our schedule we were unable to eat the breakfast but they set out bagels, muffins etc…. So we were good.
Nothing I didn’t like. It was a great place

Breakfast was wonderful. Always had muffins, tea, fruit available all day
Perfect stay!!! There was nothing negative about our stay!
2.5
location, charm
Bed too soft and lumpy, squeaky, with old stretched out linens.
We expected hospitality from hosts, but arrived to note on door.
Breakfast late every day with heavy carbs and little protein. Few choices for allergies: Wife had leftovers one day.
Overpriced based upon value.

We loved the country setting but yet so close to M-22!
We loved everything about it!
4.5
It’s a beautiful well cared for historic farm house down a quiet tree lined residential street. The home has gorgeous serene views off a large enclosed side porch where you can watch deer while you drink your morning coffee. The friendly staff will take your order for breakfast and serve you delicious home made food. Holly and her staff will make you feel at home..
I loved everything about it!! Beware though, it’s an old farmhouse NOT a newly built hotel with thick walls.. You will hear noises from the other guests and creaky steps and wood floors..and there’s lots of peace and quiet during the day while guests are out checking out the local attractions..This is also a family friendly home..so you will see young children playing about..

All good, small bath, hard to avoid getting water all over the floor b/c sink too small.

You can see that the owner put time and effort into decorating the rooms and the house. Location was great!

Adorable B&B in the woods of Empire! Excellent, kind service. It's a large farmhouse remade into a multiple en-suite room B&B. with historic touches everywhere. Breakfast was lovely; they had tables in various rooms and a staff member recites what's been prepared for the day and brings your choices to you. There's a large pole barn adjacent where you're allowed to park. We even took our bikes and kayak inside it out of the rain. Empire Beach is about a mile away. The owner, Holly, is available and so very nice! Don't overlook this property!
One small warning: our room (the Trillium) was up a narrow, steep staircase. Don't choose this room if you have mobility issues.

My granddaughter had never stayed at a B&B before and absolutely loved every minute of it. The staff were great and we will definitely stay again.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating. The location was perfect, right in the center of Sleeping bear Dunes.

It has a great location by a National Park and a beautiful beach. The house is quaint and deco is shabby chic! But best of all is the staff! There were a few challenges due to Mother Nature but they were fantastic! Would highly recommend đź’—
