Kitchen area was clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable. TV was big and lots of channels

Nice sized room. Good shower. Good kitchen equipment.

Housekeeping could be better — after three days we had to request service. Breakfast choices limited and not many healthy options.

The room had plenty of room for our family of 5. We really liked all the storage space and the kitchen in the room. Having grills outside to be able to use was really nice.

We didn’t like the bathroom door. It fell off and hurt our daughter. We didn’t like that the rooms only got cleaned every other day. We didn’t like the night time workers. They were all very mean about us hanging out in the lobby. Pool towels were very hard to come by. There were never enough. No gluten free/dairy free options for breakfast. The sandwiches were rock hard. The gym smelled terrible. The laundry machines were not working

It was an expensive average experience.

I enjoyed the location of the property and the size of the room was nice.

Breakfast was average at best. The pool was really dirty during the entirety of our stay. I found a big piece of metal in the middle of the ground that my toddler was holding and cut his finger on. Also, there was no hand soap in the bathroom which was really gross.

" Okay, not not great if you love warm showers"

The front desk staff, including the manager Amanda, were excellent

There was no hot water for three out of our four nights, dogs barking, the bathroom doors had no protective blocks, and I almost broke my girlfriend's finger. At the second morning breakfast, we heard numerous couples discussing the hot water issues. Look! As customers, if something isn't working, get an emergency person out there ASAP, and don't wait until Monday. This made me sad that nobody addressed all of our issues. The breakfast staff was great, except for one staff member who took the cereal dispenser out of my reach 20 minutes before breakfast ended. She then refilled one of the empty ones, pushed it back on the table in the back room, and started chatting with another co-worker. She intentionally kept access out of customers' hands until she addressed the manager, who corrected the actions. Side note: The "If you are unsatisfied with your stay or a night is one of us" signs must come down! This is false advertising and clearly not what they really do when you are unsatisfied.

Decent and accomplished the goal because we had an event nearby but overpriced for what it was

Breakfast was terrible and had to eat out. Closet was sad with the curtain. No lotion in bathroom. Pullout sofa blanket was stained and when housekeeper brought the new one she just walked in without warning.

I will definitely stay here again!!

The location was great! The room was bigger than I expected and very comfortable! The staff were friendly and helpful! It was nice to stay in a big room with so many accommodations, close to Charleston and a great price! Plus plenty of parking and close to places to eat and shop.

We chose not to eat the breakfast. Nothing appealed to us. But I did have coffee!

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to stay at the hotel. Our daughter gave us a Hilton gift card that you can use at any Hilton Hotel, but this location would not accept it. Thankfully, there was a Tru Hotel up the street that was amazing. Very clean, great breakfast, and the staff was amazing. They accepted our gift card with no issues. The young lady at Tru was fabulous. After our stay at Tru, we were very happy that Home 2 Suites didn’t book us. A blessing in disguise!!

The desk staff on duty were not accommodating at all. Very blunt and dismissive. They didn’t try to help at all, even after we let them know that we were from out of state. I was very disappointed with them. No help at all.

Because of our experience here we only used Home 2 suites for the rest of our stays while traveling around South Carolin

This property was wonderful. With 3 adults we were each able to have our own bed because of the pull out sofa. The room was very large and the we appreciated having the kitchen area. We would stay here again 😊

Excellent rooms - clean and large with large bath and plenty of space.

Large rooms with plenty of space for belongings. Parking was convenient and there was a rear door with locked-card access to the rear parking lot.

Breakfast was mediocre as is always the case. Reheated egg omelets, cereal, oatmeal, toast, waffles were the fare. I ate the oatmeal just because I don't like the other stuff.

Soccer weekend in Charleston

The location was perfect, we were right between the two soccer complexes we needed to be at for the weekend. The room was clean and nice and cool. We didn't have time to use any of the amenities. But they looked nice!

This is beyond your control, but the fire alarm going off at 650am on Sunday was not something we liked 😂. It wasn't a fire, but it definitely wasn't the time we wanted to wake up.

Overall great experience for our first time at a home2 suite by Hilton.

The fire pit out front. We spent hours in front of it that night and made new friends! Loved the full size bottles in the shower of shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

We were only provided with one wash cloth.

Very comfortable beds, very clean room and very well appointed kitchen area. And the cutest little salt and pepper shakers!

Parking seemed a long way from the check in desk.

Nice location, not the best stay

The kitchnette was well equipped. Overall the room was cleanish. The location was perfect. When I called a little later for a billing issue, they were helpful over the phone.

There was a smell in the bathroom like coming from the drains. Whenever we enteres the room it was there. The couches and carpets were very dirty in the room and even by the reception. The breakfast was not tasty and inconsistent. Some days no veggie options like potato etc. Waffle machine was broken on the weekend.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the staff was very nice, and the rooms were clean, the food was good.

we liked the breakfast being included in the pricing, this was a bonus and very helpful for me because I was traveling with my husband that has a Traumatic Brain Injury from the military, which saved us from having to leave to find breakfast.

By the time we got to breakfast, most items were depleted that we otherwise would have wanted to eat. I would have preferred a first-floor room, or a room closer to the doors, as it is very difficult to get my husband and his service dog in/out, he can not go up/down stairs, and we were placed very far from elevators.

Overall good stay

Great location with plenty of restaurants and shopping near by, room was good size with comfortable beds. Breakfast was good. Loved the full size refrigerator in room.

They only provided room service after 4 nights which was ridiculous. We had to go to the front desk several times to ask for towels and toilet paper. (Making bad matters worse, only giving me one roll of toilet paper). We also had to put our trash bags in hall to be collected. My last complaint would be the laundry. Two out of the three washers were broke and only one dryer. We were there for baseball tournament with plenty of dirty uniforms to be wash so this was a major inconvenience as well.

We absolutely loved staying at Home 2 Suites.. We were there for our wedding at Battery Park. We like the fact that everyone was so welcoming and very pet friendly. We will return with our two German Shepherds..

Couldn't have asked for a better room, thank you so much for being pet friendly!

Loved that our pet was welcome, Facility was nice as was the staff, LOVED the amount of storage in the room!! Loved all the amenities for a longer stay, kitchen necessities and full fridge and freezer was amazing.

The hotel is not to blame for this but people were slamming doors all night long on the 4th floor during our stay. It was impossible to sleep through and incredibly disruptive and frustrating.
