Worst than a Motel 6

Nothing, the best part was checking out!!!

The elevator didn't work,and it smelled nasty!! The breakfast was cold and the milk was expired!! Someone hit my vehicle right there by the front door, and the guy at the front desk acted like he didn't care! We asked for trash bags and couldn't even get trash bags!! The place looks like a run-down Motel 6. The wallpaper in the bathroom was even peeling, and the guy at the front desk said he didn't care. What a joke do Not spend your money there.Find a different hotel cause it's not Hilton quality. It's worse than a Motel 6. The towel in the bathroom floor was even broken!! This is the worst Hilton property I have ever seen, and I travel weekly!! There were no microwaves in the room, and the refrigerator was hot!!

Not the most pleased experience.

Location was ok near a major highway

Low water pressure in the sinks. The sink wasn’t working when we arrived(wouldn’t drain). For 2 days we had not hot water so were forced to take a cold shower on day one and on day two there was no running water at all. Most dissatisfied about the hotel not making any accommodations surrounding the hot water issue because of my booking through a 3rd party

Nice, clean, modern hotel with fast WiFi and a great breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent. WiFi connection was fast and reliable. Everything was spotlessly clean.

There is only one ice machine for the entire hotel, and it was usually out-of-order. Breakfast area is a little limited in seating.

We would stay again.

We enjoyed the comfort of the lobby. We played pool several times every day during our stay.

Breakfast could have a been a bit better. There was a lot to choose from but the "hot" food was not the best.

Rooms were ok but staff in the evening very short and disinterested and cleaning of pool area needs to be addressed.

The pool area bathroom looked like a murder scene. Toilet was clogged and horrific, flooded and dirty towels all over the pool area. Had to go to lobby and report and get room towels to dry off. Went back the next morning and still horrible.

We’ll be back!

Convenient to what we were doing and plenty around for food, activities. Staff is awesome, very clean everything. Family and pet friendly, Lavazza coffee 24/7, great breakfast. Come to this area twice a year and found our new place.

How is this the best rated hotel in Garland

Location was convenient. Breakfast attendant was very nice.

Room smelled of mildew. Was refused early check in that I had inquired about the day before. Was told it had been too busy but the hotel was mostly empty and stayed virtually empty our whole trip. Rooms have hard floors so no noise insulation and you’ll hear your neighbors. Had minimal super thin pillows and had to ask twice to get more. The highway is very loud. Low flow toilet took several flushes for toilet paper. We never received housekeeping on our 4 night stay. They came once and walked in the room at about 8:45 while we were asleep. Had to ask for fresh towels. The tv in our room didn’t work correctly and wouldn’t turn on and off with the remote. We were told the wrong hours for breakfast and it was posted inconsistently throughout the hotel, but actually ends at 9. The fire alarm went off at 2am one morning.

I enjoyed my stay here and unfortunately did not have the time to experience the full amenities.

I liked the room lay out and that everything was updated. The location was adequate but all the other hotels near Garland had lesser reviews due to the surroundings.

My bathroom, although the look was nice the glass doors to the shower were cumbersome and I did have some trouble with the toilet flushing. This wasn't a big deal as I was only there for a night.

It was very clean and inviting and location was great.

Only thing I could probably say I didn’t like was that their was only one pancake machine. Think it would be better to have 2 self serve machines rather then the one automatic pancake maker.

Decent hotel with decent facilities.

It was clean and in a convenient location.

Had problems checking in. Even though I had received confirmation from both Tru and Booking in reference to my stay, there were issues upon arrival. Try said the virtual credit card from Booking had been declined. Both entities had sent confirmation that everything was a go. I even called Tru the evening before to let them know that I would be delayed and not check in until later. The assistant from Tru said he would make sure my room was ready when I got there. It was not. It was a hassle to straighten things out. I am disappointed and confused as to why neither Tru nor Booking sent me any kind of notification that there were problems.

Nice hotel

I love the location of this hotel. The staff is also very friendly. The breakfast in the mornings were decent as well.

The walls and floors are extremely thin. We were up all night due to the sounds of those above us walking (stomping) on the floor all night. You can also CLEARLY hear people talking in the room next to you. The beds are okay comfort wise, but don't expect 5 star hotel quality beds and linen.

The room was clean. The breakfast was ok. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Kids were allowed to run up and down the halls late at night, playing and yelling. We had to ask for bath products and towels that should have been in the room to begin with.
