Location was great. Away from the crazy of Bar Harbor and easy to drive to and from in Acadia.
Showers are tiny and made it difficult to use.

Beautiful establishment right outside of Bar Harbor with simple, but sufficient amenities. Autonomous check in was appreciated. Breakfast was above expectations in the store which offered a lovely experience.
Nothing really, but if we have to say something, the bed was very soft and maybe a little dated so for my boyfriend who has a bigger stature, it was not really comfortable.

The manager is very warm and welcoming. Allowed us to check in even though we arrived earlier. The rooms seemed to be in a pretty clean state. Inclusion of breakfast with our stay came as a pleasant surprise as it was not mentioned in the website during booking and the breakfast was indeed wholesome. We stayed in one of the cabins, it is small but equipped with a complete kitchen and outdoor grill. We like to location by the main road but not at all noisy
We didn’t like the bathroom that has a shutter not a proper door. It was kind of gross to use the toilet due to lack of a proper door. Also the 2nd sleeping provision is a sofa that opens up to a bed. The mattress immediately gives away to any weight, can you imagine sleeping without support? Yes, that bad it is.

location! I liked the small town vibe. I could walk from my inn and be on a trail. I had my dog with me and they were wet welcoming

Close to town and everywhere else we wanted to go.
The mattress was a little rough.

Lovely setting and clean, pretty room, though small, was quite comfortable. The setting was excellent. Quiet, lots of outdoor sitting and eating spaces. Excellent breakfast and wonderful host who was charming and helpful. A very good vacation experience.
Room was a little smaller than we expected but it was offset by the lovely outdoor spaces. It might feel different if the weather had prohibited us from using the outdoor space.

The location was excellent and the cranberry orange muffin was good.
The location was excellent and the cranberry orange muffin was good. The bathroom was pretty bad with a dripping shower and sink, obvious patching of previous repairs. More repairs needed. Black hair in the shower and on the toilet. If I owned that inn I would gut the bathroom and rebuild. I never met the innkeeper so I can’t speak about the staff. The market was closed, even though it was before 5:00. In the evening I needed ice to ice a sore knee but it was not available. The ice trays in the mini-fridge were empty. There was no Kleenex either. These are things that are standard in any hotel or motel I’ve ever stayed in. The place looked cute and there was some nice furniture but on closer inspection it was extremely rundown and the amenities were few. The sheets were some really cheap polyester. I was so disappointed!
