Loved the experience we had at Acadia Yurts. We stayed in a tiny house and it was perfect for the two of us. Well equipped and comfortable furnishings. My only complaint was getting in/out of the bed as both sides were against the walls. Was awkward, but not a deal breaker. Probably the best shower I’ve ever had! Aaron checked in with us a couple of times and was very responsive. We liked being away from the hustle/bustle of Bar Harbor. Discovered a local restaurant called “eat a pita” which we went to twice. Delish!. Highly recommend Acadia Yurts!

The Precipice House is a charming and comfortable tiny house under the trees. The campground was peaceful and quiet. Perfect for nature lovers.

My husband and I stayed in the precipice tiny house. It had everything we needed for a comfortable week’s stay. The bed was comfortable, shower nice and hot, and the shelving and baskets throughout provided ample space for all of our things. Loved the location! If you’re going to Acadia, stay here. Wonderful hosts!

This property is in a beautiful natural setting. I enjoyed the yoga class at the Wellness Center, as well.

This property was so great! Clean, cozy, quiet. The owners reached out after the first night to check if we needed anything, which I was bought was so nice! We will definitely go back.

We stayed in one of the tiny homes. The yurts were sold out during our time. But, the tiny home still had some decent space for two people. The property was clean and has a grocery store about two miles away.

The Acadia Tiny House was absolutely perfect for our trip to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The tiny home was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly warm and inviting, and offers various activities for guests to enjoy. We will absolutely be recommending the yurts and tiny homes to anyone visiting Acadia!

Lovely property with execellent amenities. Checkin process was easy and hosts were very communicative. I'd highly recommend!

The property was quiet and well planned. We enjoyed our stay in the woods. Easy check in. The tiny house was clean but missing a few things: no luggage racks, no bathroom sink, no dish drying rack, only 1 kitchen towel. The public works facility next to the property opened early and you can hear dump trucks loading and backing up (beeping) for about 30 minutes starting around 7am.

I absolutely loved my stay in the Tiny House and in this adorable community on the Quiet Side. It was exactly the experience I was looking for. The amenities were beautiful, practical, well equipped, and quality. Hiking and biking was so much fun! And the spa facilities at Acadia Yurts were amazing! Loved every minute of my adventure!

The property is absolutely gorgeous and the owners are a pleasure to work and communicate with. The Precipice tiny house was fit with everything you needed. We wish we had the time to try their yoga and massage but we will definitely go back.

Our stay was great. We had everything we needed and more. The whale area was very well kept and very quiet.

Great place to stay, the tiny house was clean, had all the amenities you need for a vacation and more, property was quiet and well maintained. Bar Harbor was only about 30 mins away and other hiking trails and recreational activities were even closer!
WiFi and cell service (we have T-Mobile) were both pretty spotty, so if you HAVE to be connected for some reason, that may be a drawback. But there’s plenty to do and it’s a great opportunity to disconnect and spend time with family and get outside, so wasn’t important to us.
Overall great place to stay on a beautiful property far enough away from touristy stuff to be quiet and relaxing, yet close enough to be able to have full days of exploration!

Property was clean and located perfectly for us.... out of the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, but close enough to great restaurants and hiking trails. We weren't around enough to utilize the Wellness Center, but the people we saw going in and out seemed very happy. The things I loved about the tiny cabin that you won't see from the pictures is the French press coffee maker, access to washer/ dryer, and the water pressure of the shower. These things were so lovely to have day after day of hiking.

Bigger than a hotel room, smaller than a studio, surrounded by trees and steps from Acadia National Park. Enough said!

Great place to stay and visit Acadia NP. Nice and secluded. A great escape to the woods after spending the day hiking in the park.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Precipice Tiny House- we would 100% recommend this to anyone and would love to come back when we’re back to visit Acadia and Bar Harbor. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. Thank you Karen for an awesome experience!

We loved the Tiny house. A quite location next to the East area of Acadia NP yet close to SW Harbor (a few minutes by car). Aaron and Karen were incredibly responsive and also helpful to tell us about the “lesser known” spots and trails within the park.

The tiny house was perfect and the yurt community was quiet and beautifully done. I was able to enjoy a yoga class while we were there. We would love to go back!

The property is beautiful and the tiny house was perfect for our stay! We booked both tiny houses for 4 friends on a trip to Maine to visit the Acadia National Park. The hosts were great with communication. There is a wellness center for activities (we didn't use, but loved that it was an option), a communal fire pit (we had a bonfire for 2 nights & met other travellers), and a community barn/shack for supplies (we made use of stuff in there and contributed to it too). The tiny house was equipped with all the amenities we would need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again, perhaps in a yurt on our next visit!

this beautiful tiny house snuggled next to the forests of Acadia was the perfect location!!! The accommodations were just right for us to clean up & recovery from our hikes and discoveries! The kitchen was adequately stocked with the essentials to prep a quick meal!!!! Karen our hostess greeted us on arrival and checked in via text messages!!! Very simply a delight to work with!!! Thank you!!!

My wife and I spent 4 night in the Precipice Tiny House. It was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed being on the "quieter side of the island". We saw other reviews about road noise and construction trucks. We did not hear or see any of those things. Karen and Aaron were very responsive to our inquiries and even checked in via text on us the second day to see if we needed anything. We would recommend Acadia Yurts to anyone visiting the park.

This property is everything my husband and I could ask for. It was so cozy and comfortable. A perfect place to come back to after exploring nearby Acadia, the cute towns, or eating delicious food.
Thank you Karen and Aaron for sharing your beautiful tiny home.

We loved this little place! it had everything we needed-- and community supplies we could borrow, too. It was a short drive to different parts of Acadia.

We so enjoyed our time in the Precipice Tiny House! It was just what we needed for our short trip to Acadia and the surrounding area. Comfortable bed, hot shower, a French press for our morning coffee - it just does not get any better! And we very much appreciate the attention to nature - we used the compost tin every day! We will definitely recommend Acadia Yurts to our friends and family! Thank you Karen & Aaron!

Clean. Secure. Quiet. Close to local restaurants when wanted to eat out. Kitchen had just what we needed when we wanted to cook light meals and eat in. Loved that was close to Seawall, Ship Harbor Trail and Wonderland Trail to end each evening watching the sunset.

This was my second visit to Acadia Yurts, first staying in a tiny home. Karen and Aaron are wonderful hosts, the tiny house was well appointed with everything you need to have a comfortable stay, and the location is perfect for exploring the area. The float tank at the wellness center is not to be missed! I am already looking forward to returning next season.

Aaron and Karen were wonderful hosts. They were always available by text or email to answer any questions we had and even to print out some thing we needed to go up Cadillac mountain. We loved hearing their story about how they started the Acadia Yurts. I would highly recommend staying there in the Southwest Harbor while visiting Acadian national Park.
