We have been there 3 times and love the charm and spaciousness of this antique home.

Beautiful historic home; 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining and living room, kitchen, big, fully fenced backyard - ideal for dogs. Very spacious rooms ,

It’s not that we didn’t like something. We have no complaints. You need to LIKE to stay in an historic house with squeaky floors, and bedroom doors which don’t fully close. It’s part of the charm.

Short but pleasant stay.

We LOVED the old house and creaky floors. We had fun trying to figure out what may have been original. Quiet neighborhood, easy freeway access, ample parking.

Both tubs/showers had a really high step over so were a bit rough for our little and elder. We always appreciate any listing notes that help us gauge accessibility. Only a few steps to get in.

The privacy of a whole home versus hotel. No bugs inside.

Really needs a deep clean, and some repairs. Very cool, old house, but everything is a little damp and smells kinda funny. Good for a one night stop, better than some hotels I've ended up at.

3 bedrooms for the price of a hotel room. Beds were very comfortable. TVs in every room eliminated arguments on what to watch.

Needs updated. Floor would pinch your feet in some places and there was rust in the corner of the primary shower. Not having enough comfortable seating in the living room for the whole family to hang out.

it was nice and clean. Close to Wild Adventures

the fact that the showers were not too useful for someone with limited abilities. Trying to get in and out of the shower/tub combo in the master bathroom was a challenge. Loved the claw foot tub in the other bathroom, even though it was still a little bit difficult to get in and out of.

Adequate property for the money if you are young.

The beds were very comfortable in each room. The space was grand and more than adequate for our needs. The dining area table is great for eating and game playing. Location of the house is excellent and in a safe space.

The shower facilities are not appropriate for aging persons. There is a clawfoot tub and a VERY DEEP spa type tub with shower which made it difficult to access. The main bathroom has a barn door, which does not completely close. If the bathroom showers were updated and the main bath door improved to close for complete privacy, this would greatly improve the stay. The living room furniture needs a good upholstery cleaning.

This was a great place to stop on our way to Florida.

I liked the charm and character of the home. High ceilings, fireplaces, leaded glass windows. The beds were comfortable. The yard was fenced in which was great for our dogs. The property-owner was available and responsive. It was located near the interstate and we had many options for places to eat.

The second bathroom was a little less stellar. Also it would have been nice to have a decent outside light in the backyard.

Allowed us to visit family after 7 years in Kansas

The owner was great with communication and the house was comfortable with plenty of space. Loved the deep tub. Very well stocked with blankets and towels and the ability to do our laundry really was convenient. Cooking instead of going out to eat also saved us a lot of money, allowing us to extend our trip by a few days. Very clean and great AC during this summer heat. The porch was nice and neighborhood felt safe and quiet. Definitely would stay here again.

The back yard wasn't really fenced and the driveway was a bit rough.

Beautiful centenary house

Beautiful unique and centenary house, well preserved. Great location, comfortable and with many supplies in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. Owner was also very accommodating . Pet friendly. Pack’n’play and toddler toys available were a plus. We stayed for only one night on our way to Florida, but was a nice experience. I also recommend Giulio’s Italian/Greek restaurant, where we went for dinner. It’s family owned and has great food.

Perfect stay and gorgeous home

This home is so beautiful and has everything you need and then some for your stay..Super clean and gorgeous decor.. We arrived late and the key was right in the lockbox where the owner left us the code before our arrival to the home. Best property my family and I have ever stayed
