Pleasant but could be better for the price we paid

Breakfast was good and staff pleasant

No car park and television was very small and could not be used with the control from the bed. Better information in the corridors to go downstairs to the ground floor

Nice hotel in great location

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of Oughterard.

We felt that the cost of our stay was on the high side at €180 per night (admittedly in the high season). The bar area was very quiet in the evenings we were there and lacked atmosphere.

The shower hose was leaking more out the side of the hose and very little water coming out the shower head

Little gem

Perfect location for a stay in co galway. The hotel is spotless and the staff are lovely. Great breakfast included in the price. Rooms are a great size with plenty of storage space

Very good

Once I got over the cold and stairs, lol, the atmosphere was homely, the breakfast was delicious and service was brilliant

It was really cold and took ages to heat up, had to use 2 blankets with the heating on all night and no lift, had to climb 3 flights of stairs with my luggage

It was in a very convenient location, enjoyed our short stay.

Excellent breakfast with very friendly staff.

Hot water a bit of an issue, have to leave shower run for at least 6 minutes to heat up. Shower felt a bit slippery so used the mat provided. The mat fitted lovely, too good in fact, I didn’t notice it covered the drain for the water to go down so had a bit of a flood. Cleaned up with towels provided.

This was a great location, super clean and comfortable, and we were treated so nicely!

The location was perfect for us. We had multiple windows we could open. The bathroom was huge! The beds were super comfy! The hotel staff was really nice, and even helped us to get our luggage to our room. Super great experience.

Very expensive for basic hotel and no provision of bar food or evening meals etc due to staff shortages...not acceptable for charges paid

Ideally situated. to spend a few days visiting Connemara from.

Situation and great breakfast. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean.

No soap or shower gel in bathroom. No dinner available except on Friday and Saturday nights. Not much atmosphere.
