About this cottage rental
6 Seatown is a traditional fisherman's cottage, built around 1850 in the quiet Seatown area of Lossie, and originally a thatched bungalow. With a lower roof, this cottage is cosy and intimate and has a sheltered and secluded garden.
The cottage is ideal for couples, those with young families, or those with limited mobility. Due to their low ceilings, the rooms upstairs are only really suitable for younger children, but there is a twin bedroom and 'snug' room with a second TV.
6 Seatown provides comfortable and cosy accommodation in a stunning location, just opposite the bridge to the fabulous East Beach and an easy walk to the woods along the river's edge.
The village of Lossiemouth is compact, but has the necessary shops, restaurants and pubs. It is ideal, not just for a beach, golfing or fishing holiday, but also for touring the Malt Whisky and Castle trails, as well as longer day trips to places such as the Cairngorms National Park or Loch Ness.

Return to a little piece of heaven
We stayed at 6 seatown last year as we wanted to try and experience the northern lights and we loved this little cottage so much that when we decided to return to Scotland to try and see the northern lights again there was absolutely no hesitation that seatown was where we wanted stay. This the most homely and cosy cottage you ever wish for and there is every single piece of equipment you could ever wish for. The cottage is in excellent condition and lovingly looked after. It’s a lovely little fisherman’s cottage that has the added bonus of being just across the road from the river and beach which my two dogs adored. They left completely exhausted from the most beach walks they have ever had. We have just returned from our visit to seatown and has already booked to go back next year. Sadly we didn’t see the aurora this year but we did last year.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, and warm cosy.
The cottage was spotlessly clean, nice warm and cosy. We had everything you would need in the cottage from basic food to washing machine and dishwasher.
It was like home from home experience. Very peaceful and lovely surroundings.

Fabulous home from home
This was the ninth time we spend our holiday in this wonderful cozy and lovely cottage. The cottage is very well equipped; very nice furnished bedroom and bathroom downstairs. The kitchen has everything we need and the living room area is very comfortable. From previous trips we can say that the little stove is especially wonderful in winter time! This summer time we enjoyed the beautiful garden outside for breaks in the sun. Lovely! For us 6 Seatown is the nicest and best equipped holiday cottage we stayed in so far and we will be back soon, being home from home again.
Lossiemouth itself is a little gem on the coast and has two incredible beaches that are great to take long walks.
Nearby there are lots of things to explore, e.g. make a boat trip along the coast from Buckie to Cullen (Gemini Explorer), visit the Speyside area and see how the distilleries work, take a tour to Inverness or make a walk through Elgin and visit the cathedral.
