About this house rental

Our bach is arty casual and very inviting, everything about it says - just relax. It has that cool old-fashioned New Zealand bach vibe, perfect for holidays and yet also has a classy feel. We offer a well-appointed kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, iron etc for your use. Our beds are lovely and comfortable and all the rooms are very spacious. Our place offers a great setup for families, friends and lovers. Please note that we have available another fold out bed for the king suite in case of a child in tow.

Everyone comments on the location and lovely vibe. We are located in Beverley Tce, which is a great road and only 2 minutes walk to the glorious Whangamata beach and the town and cafes. Park your car and put away the keys - you will not need it unless leaving town or taking your boat to the ramp - which can be parked in our ample driveway.

Close by is a stunning natural park with fantastic bush walks and many beautiful small bays to walk too for day adventures.

We can accommodate pets upon request.

Smoking allowed outside only. Surcharge may apply over long weekends, Beach Hop and New Years peak fortnight.

We may accept a booking of up to 7 people as there are extra mattresses available for big rooms.

Loved the location of this bach. Comfortable house. Would stay again but was surprised to see that we were not able to use the rubbish bins and had to take our rubbish to the dump. (We stayed a week. ) At the price point, I totally would have expected that to be included, as a basic. Whangamata is a lovely town to visit!

This was our second visit at this time of year and it was great to return. The house provides the best of both worlds being located close to the local shops and to the beach. Comfortable and spacious enough for two families to share. Thanks for the use of the lovely space.

We loved our stay with 2 adults and 4 teenagers. The house is the perfect beach stay, just 5 minutes stroll to the sand, and 5 mins the other way to the shops. The house has everything you need, very comfortable and a warm, creative, loving vibe. Nina is the perfect property manager, fast to respond, communicative and made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend this beach house if you are a family or a couple, looking for a relaxing, comfortable and convenient holiday. Will book again if we are in Whanga in the future.

My friends and I LOVED our stay with this property, a perfect home away from home - in a fabulous location so close to the beach and town. Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds and a lovely sheltered, covered patio area in the rear garden to enjoy the morning sun!

Perfect place to stay with our 2 dogs.. with well fenced back yard and an easy walk to the beach. Comfortable beds and cozy living area. Very limited pantry staples so be sure to take everything you need e.g tea, olive oil etc. Thanks for having us to stay.

A gorgeous bach in the heart of Whangamata, only 2 mins walk to the shops and to the beach. Safe, flat roads for kids to ride bikes and fully fenced back yard for kids and dogs to play. Nina was great to deal with. It was clean, cosy (we had fire going) and perfect for our family. Can’t wait to stay again.

Communication with Nina was a breeze and the stay was all we hoped for - to stay warm, to feel cozy, to have plenty of space and for it to feel homely for myself, my husband, friends of ours along with their 2 kids, as well as our dogs. Fenced garden out the back for four legged family members was such a treat (scarcely found). Location is fantastic - just a short stroll to the beach. Oh and superb takeaways options walking distance away! Thanks for having us.

The dogs and I had a lovely stay walking on the beaches, eating in various cafes and then taking the dogs to near the harbour on the grass to smell all the doggie smells along there. The locals were really friendly and helpful. Would recommend it

Nina was a very accommodating host and made everything for our stay very easy. The bach is very comfortable with everything you can possibly need for a great stay. The indoor outdoor flow and outside private area is fantastic. The quietness of the street and location to town and beach were amazing and a big bonus for the property. The fenced backyard was also handy for our little dog or if you have small children. We loved our stay and would love to return if we get a chance. Thanks heaps Nina x

We were thrilled with this place. Despite being only two bedrooms, it was really spacious and has a wonderful feel and flow. The back yard was great - a wonderful place to hang out and chill. We had lots of kids there, and there was enough room for everyone. Great location - super close to the beach and town! Will come again!

Had a lovely relaxing time - location is close to the beach and the town and the garden is private. Grateful to be able to bring our dog and for 2 fridges. Would have liked to be able to use the BBQ but didn't as seems faulty.

Superb location. Original Bach - accurate photos. Very friendly, lovely owner who stayed onsite welcomed us and called in on check-out morning. Very clean property inside however we did see eight cockroaches, mostly around the kitchen area - this may have been due to the firewood stacked outside on the other side of the kitchen wall/window. Thank you for letting us stay.
