wir hatten ein zimmer mit dachschräge, hätten auch ein anderes zimmer mit aufpreis haben können das nächste mal ohne dachschräge

es gab ein tolles Upgrade auf ein Balkonzimmer mit direkter Seesicht, ein Traum

wenn viel los ist am Abend wahrscheinlich etwas laut, direkt darunter ist die Promenade und eine Bar. durch die alten Fenster hört man recht viel.

Gutes Hotel inmitten Ascona, schwächen beim Frühstücksraum

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Direkt an der Promenade von Ascona. In nächster Umgebung eine vielfältiges Angebot an Restaurants. Tagsüber sehr lebhaft. Am Morgen ist zum Teil Lieferverkehr zu hören. Stört aber nicht grossartig. Wir hatten das Zimmer 110 mit einem Balkon mit direktem Blick zum See. Das Zimmer ist für ein paar Tage völlig ausreichend und gross genug. Bad einwandfrei. Safe vorhanden. W-LAN schnell und stabil. Die Auswahl an Speisen beim Frühstück war für uns in Ordnung. Das Personal beim Frühstück sehr freundlich.

Ein grosses Manko ist der Frühstücks-RAUM. Wir waren vom 25.09. - 28.09.23 im Seven. Nicht auszudenken wie es in der Hauptsaison oder bei Regenwetter in diesem Raum zu und her geht. Zu viele Tische im relativ kleinem Raum, alles viel zu eng. Man kommt kaum aneinander vorbei. Zum Teil müssen Gäste aufstehen damit andere zu ihrem Tisch kommen. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war jeden Morgen ein Paar mit einem sehr grossen Hund anwesend. Wir haben das als sehr rücksichtlos seitens der Halter empfunden. Um die Tische in der Nähe dieses Hundes konnten/wollten sich keine Gäste mehr setzen zum frühstücken. Damit wurde das eh schon knappe Platzangebot noch weiter eingeschränkt. Wir sind der Meinung, dass solch grosse Hunde in einem Frühstücksraum nicht erlaubt sein sollten. Bei der Abreise haben wir das auch noch bei der Rezeption deponiert.

Superbe Séjour

Chambre très propre et très spacieuse et bien isolée. Accueil à la réception très agréable ainsi que le personnel du petit-déjeuner. Petit-déjeuner très très bon. A 2 pas du lac

Le seul petit bémol ( qui n'en est pas vraiment un) c'est le bruit de la ventilation qui reste assez longtemps allumé dans la salle de bain

Great Location, Shabby Rooms

Location and staff were good.

One of the shabbiest rooms I have stayed in for a long time. The rooms were dark, stuffy, smelled of smoke and the humidity crept into the beds. Definitely does not deserve to call itself a boutique hotel.

Fabulous!

Location was perfect, room was just what I needed, very clean, compact & bijou but the view was lovely, really couldn't have asked for more. Staff were really friendly, helpful, and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was really good, and who could want for more eating it on the edge of the lake.....a great stay, I will definitely be back!

A Perfect Stay on a Perfect Weekend

Your people are top notch - From check in (Sara) to breakfast (everyone) to the kind greetings in the passageways, everyone is just fantastic

The rooms are quite small - my mother-in-law was in a single and she is very petite. I am not sure how anyone bigger than her would manage in that space.

A beautiful experience and great communication from the staff made it easy.

The best location in Ascona and a beautiful selection of tastefully renovated rooms. The breakfast was also excellent.

Top floor rooms were a bit small due to the sloping roof and the bed is a climb over for the second person.

Well presented hotel in a stunning location

The location is perfect and the view from the room was amazing. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful. The breakfast that was included had a nice variety and the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. Could not ask for a better place to stay!

Noise from other rooms did travel a little bit, and while it didn’t bother me, if you are a light sleeper, it may affect you.

Nice stay in Ascona

During my recent business trip, Ascona and this hotel both left me a good impression. Then I take a vacation this time. The room is clean and tidy. Hotel receptionists are especially kind and friendly. They also give me useful advices on excursions around Ascona. Ticino Ticket is really useful during my stay. I have visited Cimetta, Cima della Trosa, and Val Verzasca, which are amazing places. Grazie mille!

Ascetic clean room with nice price for this area with very nice location, restaurant, riverside.

Nice, clean place. Very small. But in this location with price I had it hard to expect more. Stuff was friendly, provided iron and Restaurent downstair with riverside is awesome. Really great place for breakfast and chill with drinks for sunset. Very nice calm and green courtyards.

Somehow I missed window in my room. Entrance door with inbuilt small glasse was only a window for natural light in the room. So even during the day I have to stay with light switched on. Also Wifi covering was not good enough.

Amazing stay in a cozy hotel on the Lago Maggiore

Breakfast on the lake is absolutely fantastic, with a wonderful view, excellent food and coffee and kind staff. The room was very nice, and I enjoyed the very nice backyard. The receptionists were also very kind and accommodated all my requests (including lending me a steam iron). The location is right in the center of Ascona and super close to the Lago Maggiore, it's amazing!

Maybe there should be better shades. It was very hot in my room and was strictly necessary to close the shades during the day to avoid overheating (the curtains were clearly not enough to shade and not in good conditions). Also, very tiny detail: the somebody came to clean up my room, I couldn't find things cleaner but I found all shades and curtains open (during the full day, while I was away), so the room was super warm. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

Really good looking rooms, but the price is a little too high i think

The Rooms were really beautifully furnished, also the AC was really good, the bathroom was also beautiful. I really liked the locations of the room, in the backyard of the hotel and a little beautiful garden. The breakfast was really good and the staff were very friendly and always here for us

Our room was really small and the bed was a little too hard for us, also the bathroom was pretty small tho. And for this price i think we could have found better
