Serenity! Exactly what me and my girls needed. This was our third trip to Mentone, renting a tiny home the two previous trips. Three Bears Lodge was everything and more.

One of the best places in our 10+ years of staying at VRBO's. Comfortable, furnished with everything and the best back porch in Alabama. And De Soto State Park has a lot to offer if you like the outdoors.
I highly recommend this cabin.

This property had plenty of space for my family of 6, withoit being too big. We saw deer all week and it was close to Mentone without being too close.
We loved our stay and will consider it again whennwe come back.

This cabin was a great fit for our family. It was so cozy and comfortable with plenty of room to play and relax. We loved the way it was decorated and even my young children were impressed with all of the fascinating things around. The beds were comfortable, it was clean and I especially benefited from laundry on site.

The cabin is very comfortable and well-equipped. Communication from the host was first-rate. We enjoyed the screened porch, the deer, and the solitude. Great place to get away and relax.

My husband and I loved everything about this property! The attention to detail in the things provided that guests might have forgotten was above and beyond! We loved the setting and how peaceful everything was. We also loved getting to feed the deer every night! This was the perfect anniversary trip for us and we can't wait to go back!!

We love this cabin. We chose our second visit to Three Bears for our anniversary trip. The location is so peaceful and we love visiting Mentone, Desoto Falls, Little River Canyon and Ft. Payne. This is now our go-to cabin when we want a quick weekend getaway.

This place was in such a beautiful setting. It was well equipped with what we needed. The self checkin and checkout was easy and fast. We enjoyed the hot tub very much. The front porch and back porch were so pleasant for prayer and devotional time. It was very relaxing. I will book again when I go back.

Our stay at Three Bears Lodge was better than we could have anticipated. Plenty of room inside to relax and the screen porch on the back could not have been more pleasant. We will definitely check the availability next time we visit Mentone.

Three Bears Lodge was everything it was described and more. The photos of the lodge don’t do it justice! First of all, the ride up to the lodge in April was STUNNING! The lodge it self is gorgeous. Very comfortable beds, super Clean, spacious bath and shower, quant and cozy hang out spaces. We loved sitting in the screened porch watching our kids run around in the back yard. Hot tube in the evening- so wonderful! We enjoyed conversation around the fire pit and even spotted a few deer! My kids felt super cool sleeping up in the loft while my husband and I enjoyed the very comfortable king sized mattress. All beds were provided with clean soft sheets, soft pillows and extra blankets. I thought it was very convenient to have a full washer and dryer especially with young kids! The hosts provided extra wash pods, sampler shower essentials and plenty toilet paper, paper towels to get us through the long weekend. Plenty of bath towels and even hot tub towels were provided! The hosts attention to guest’s comfort was exceptional!
We honestly hope to stay again!

It was absolutely beautiful and just a great breath of fresh air!

Although there was initial disappointment regarding the fireplace (it is a non-working fireplace), the accommodations and amenities at Three Bears more than made up for it. The place was stocked with everything ...we even found a crockpot for cooking while we were out hiking/sightseeing for the day. The beds were fabulous and the furnishings so cozy! The hot tub was wonderful after a day out and seemed like it was out in the country even though we were right in town. We all loved Three Bears and hope to return again!

We would have had the absolute perfect stay if the fireplace was wood burning. It just had some “light up pretend” logs. We were slightly disappointed with that. But the hot tub and outside fire pit was nice! The cabin was clean and cozy.

My sister and I along with her husband stayed Thursday - Sunday. We had a day visit from our grands. Everyone loved walking and playing outside since the weather was so nice.
We will definitely stay at this cabin on our next visit!!

This is a fabulous place to stay. We are four friends that use to work together. We try to see each other every couple of years. The cabin was so comfortable and had everything we needed for visiting. The owners are very kind and helpful. Would stay here again ! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We enjoyed the rustic home with touches of modernization. It was exactly what was portrayed on VRBO. Would enjoy coming back to property with my adult children.

Room was perfect. Enjoyed being in the middle of nature. Got to watch the deer feed while enjoying the awesome hot tub

This cabin is the nicest one we have stayed in! Nicely decorated with vintage items and antiques. Every little detail was considered when renting to others. We had everything we needed. Perfect little spot close to town, but quiet and peaceful. As soon as we got there two deer were already waiting on us. We got to see an armadillo crawl across the yard and under the porch, then heard bear growling and rustling around in the woods that evening.

This was our second time staying at Three Bears Cabin and we loved it even more!
Plenty of room for our family of five, yet still cozy. The cabin is rustic and has everything you need to enjoy your stay.
Easy check in and the owners don’t bother you like other places we’ve stayed.
10/10 highly recommend!

This was our third time staying and it was still a perfect getaway. Saw some deer, soaked in the hot tub, and enjoyed the peaceand quiet. Already looking forward to next time.

Three Bears Lodge was great. Just as advertised. We even got to see 7 deer Sunday morning. Super close to wedding venue.

I was impressed about how well stocked the cabin was, everything was provided. I was like going from home to home, great job by the owners! It was a very interesting cabin, so many little unique things to get your attention. The kids loved feeding the deer in the evenings and we all enjoyed the hot tub each night. The only advice I would give is to be careful when getting the key out of the box. I put in the code, opened the front and the key fell out and through the porch deck boards. I had to crawl below to retrieve it. We loved the cabin, location, hot tub and all the provisions. I will certainly be looking to book this particular cabin again next time we visit the area.

The cabin is Cute and Cozy! We were disappointed with no dishwasher as to keep eating ware sanitized because there were some utensils that were not clean, Leaves All over the beautiful deck that you could tell that hasn’t been swept off that day that we arrived. I went in to get broom to sweep off myself so we could get in hottub. Outdoor glass table was dirty, spider webs and thick dust on living room light that is made with deer horns, which was pretty but could visually see webs going from horn to horn. Thick dust on fish that is hanging on wall in living room. The Beds were awesome!! I don’t go around looking for dust and webs but this was obvious.

We went to Alabama for my sisters birthday. This was the perfect location in between the activities we had planned. We went to Talladega Speedway, Alabama Museum, Jack Daniels museum in Lynchburg TN, the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, and Mercier Apple Orchard in Blue Ridge, GA.
The cabin was clean, well stocked, and in the woods. Every day there, we saw some deer in the back yard, even while enjoying the hot tub.
Will definitely rent there again!

We stayed here along our route for the World’s Longest Yard Sale. The location was perfect. Cabin was easily assessable and was a nice place to stay after a long day of exploring.

This is a great cabin in a great area, that was the perfect little family getaway. The owners are the best, they go above and beyond what is needed, we have found a great place to meetup with family from Bama. We had so much fun visiting outside around a sweet fire pit. The deer was a treat to watch. Rent with confidence from this super host, you will be like us, and come back soon!

Was this place perfect? No, but darn-near!
Having interacted with both the owners and the host, they were friendly and amenable. The kitchen was so well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans that we had store our non-perishable items on the washer & dryer!
Two main floor seating areas meant that everyone was comfortably seated at all times. The screened-in back porch was spacious and a great place to watch deer in the area during morning coffee.
The decor throughout was perfectly rustic and plentiful. The shower downstairs was spacious and there was a jacuzzi tub upstairs.
Mentone, Fort Payne, and DeDoto State Park were easily accessible from the cabin.
Like I said: We'll be back!

Absolutely the best place I have ever stayed! We had so many deer and a black bear came through. I felt like a Disney princess watching all the wildlife! I will DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN SOON!!
