Loved our 2nd visit to villa Blue Skies. It was better than we remembered. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable.
Pool is well maintained and warm. Lovely that it’s not cleaned with chlorine but more eco-friendly salination system.
Quiet location, easy to get to both main strip and old town.
Would recommend and hope to visit again.

I couldn’t fault anything about the property, communication with Sam was easy, she was really swift in replying. Only problem for us was the walk back from the strip or the old town. To be fair, we never walked back, we got a taxi every time and the most we had to pay was €4.50. Great holiday, I would really recommend Blue Skies.

Great villa, big rooms, well appointed, everything you could need for a home from home.
Comfortable beds, massive bathroom, plenty of hot water, light and bright rooms.
Great pool, plenty of space in and out of the sun.
Parking just outside, bit of a walk down to the seafront, under 4 euros for a taxi back.
We had a fantastic stay, some well needed winter sun.

Stayed for 7 nights as a winter getaway! Would definitely recommend this villa! It’s bigger than the photos suggest! I like the fact it’s a tiered section down to the pool with plenty of shade at the top. The villa had all you needed for a relaxing stay….even down to the cushions for the new sunbeds. Jim came in everyday to clean the pool and gave us suggestions of where to eat. The views were amazing as were the sunsets sat with a cold beer. Lidl is a 10 minute walk away and a steady 15 mins walk to the beach front filled with plenty of bars and restaurants! If I had one suggestion it would be that the villa needs a general spruce up ie a lick of paint in each room.
If you’ve never been to Lanzarote I would suggest car hire to take a tour around the island!

Villa Blue Skies is well located on the edge of Puerto Del Carmen with easy parking out front, a Lidl supermarket a few minutes away and a 10 minute walk down to the beach front.
The villa was lovely and clean, the kitchen well equipped and the beds were comfy.
There are some really good places to each on the beach front and a couple of good family friendly bars. The beach is great, sunloungers with parasols can be hired €17.50 (for three) the water is clear and warm and great for fish spotting.
Communication with the owner (Sam) was great and Jim came to clean the pool every day.
All in all we had a fanatic week.

Just returned from a great holiday, this property is wonderful, clean, spacious, in a quiet area with fantastic views. A lovely pool which was cleaned daily by Jim and the villa was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need.The bathrooms have just been updated to a very high standard. Overall we had a very relaxing stay in wonderful surroundings. The only addition to make it an unbeatable stay would be to replace the sunbeds (there looking very tired)and add an umbrella by the pool and perhaps a few potted plants to give it some character. A great stay, will definitely visit again.

A beautiful villa, home from home with amazing views. Pool cleaned daily and solar heated which was perfect. Very safe on one level with a secure gate and steps to pool, this aspect was very important to us. Easy parking to the front of villa and a lovely welcome pack in fridge. Loved our stay in Villa Blue Skies and hope to return very soon x

Nice villa, perfect view on the sea and all day sunny on the terraces. Swimming pool is kept clean daily and is nice and warm.
Bathrooms are brand new. We stayed most of the time outside but the livingroom and kitchen are also very sufficient.

We had a fabulous stay at the villa, communication with Sam was excellent all through the booking process and during our stay, Sam always answered promptly and helped with any queries or requests, lovely lady. Views from the villa are just stunning, pool is a good size by lanzorote standards and was quite warm, location excellent, about 15 mins walk to beachfront and accross to the old town area. Blue Skies is the perfect place to stay. Beautiful villa extremely well equipped,very comfortable and spotlessly clean.Location is excellent with only a few minutes drive to the beach and restaurants. Puerto Calero is also easily accessible.
Sam and Jim are the perfect hospitable hosts.
Any query or question was answered straight away with any small issues resolved immediately.
Jim cleaned the pool everyday with a smiley face .
We will have no hesitation in staying again and thoroughly recommend the villa and service to others.

Lovely villa and excellent host
We loved our stay at Villa Blue Skies. The villa was spotless and very spacious for the 6 of us. Jim came each day and cleaned/ checked on the pool. Lovely view of the sea and the islands from the terrace. Samantha's customer service was second to none. Superb stay.

The house is much more spacious than the pictures might let to assume.
All rooms are very clean and the interior in perfect condition.
It was a true pleasure to stay here.
The house is located above downtown of Puerto del Carmen. A short walk of 10mins (700m) downhill and you are right in the Strip with beach, bars and restaurants. Only the way back would require some hill climbing (remember where you are: Welcome to Lanzarote!!)
The only advantage and disadvantage at the same time is the direct situation of the rear side to one of the main roads. The motorway (LZ-40) is still far enough away.
Thanks to Sam and Jim for such perfectly caring hospitality.

Perfect villas
I have stayed in several villas on the island and this has to be one of the best I have stayed in. It’s very clean and tidy has everything you could possibly need. I loved the fact that the pool was on another level which Was also gated this was great as it was safe for my 2 children. It’s in a great location. Would highly recommend and will be booking again.

Villa and location
What you see is what you get. The house is great and spacious. Everything you need although the parasol was broken. Jim came every day to clean the pool and was happy to make suggestions and give directions. The pool does have a step/shelf around the edge so for those that don't swim the deep end (1.7m) was greatly appreciated.
We did find it frustrating when the use of our devices slowed the TV connections but can't complain because we got Sky sports and movies which we don't have at home.
The house was ideally located for us to walk to the old town or the new, but it was a steep walk back 'home' up the hill if you didn't want to pay the 3euro taxi.

Perfect holiday villa
Home from home! This villa met all of our expectations and was exactly as described. It was fully equipped with more than enough crockery, glasses and cooking equipment and was perfectly situated for access to the beach, restaurants etc. We hired a car so that we could explore the island but it was very hard to drag ourselves away from the comfort of the villa and pool!
The villa layout was ideal for our family, (including a nearly 3 year old) as it was all on the one level and we could leave him to safely access all of the rooms.
The swimming pool was wonderful and cleaned daily by the very amenable Jim who was more than helpful with local information and heating the pool to the perfect temperature for us. Our Grandson loved being able to walk around the ‘shelf’ inside the pool, which was also a great place to sit with a glass of wine!
Nothing was too much trouble for Sam and Jim who both made our stay a very special one. The welcome pack was perfect and also included a very welcome bottle of wine!
We will definitely be returning to this fabulous villa and can highly recommend it. Thank you Sam and Jim we loved every minute and were very sad to leave. We will be back! X

Really enjoyed the pool. Lots of space for the kids to run around. The pool gate is locked which was great because we had young children.

Terrific place to relax and soak up winter sunshine!
This is our second stay at Villa Blue Skies - it's a terrific place to chill out in the glorious Lanzarote winter sunshine, taking in the splendid sea views as you look out above Puerto del Carmen. The owners, Sam and Jim provide a great service and are very responsive if any problems arise. Heated pool is a big bonus, maintained very well by Jim on a daily basis.
Accommodation is really spacious, being well furnished and very comfortable for large families or groups of friends. WiFi proved to be a little unpredictable when several users were using the internet and also when the TV is drawing from the network, but we are told that fibre broadband is being installed into the area so this can be expected to improve in due course. Range of channels on the TV is excellent if you want to further relax during the darker winter evenings.
We had a great stay - Puerto del Carmen is a great location during the Christmas and New Year festive season. We will be really happy to return again at some time in the future and/or recommend Villa Blue Skies to others who are looking for a pleasant stay in Lanzarote. The resort is extremely accessible and a good base to visit other places on the island.

Clean, spacious and well maintained villa
Due to a very early morning flight, we arrived at the villa about 12 noon. Samantha had done a great job and had the place clean and ready for us to settle in, which was lovely considering we’d been up since 3.30am! They even left some essentials in the fridge for us. You’re supplied with pool towels which was a bonus and beds and towels are changed at the end of a week.
Jim, came round every morning to check and maintain the pool and was always keen to make sure everything was fine. I’m sure if we had any problems they would have been resolved very quickly.
The villa is in a good location, parking right outside, close to shops and a pleasant 15 minute walk down to the front for a big choice of restaurants and shops.
Would definitely recommend.

The villa photos do not do it justice , it was very spacious, clean and looked after , it was a home from home and we all loved it , thanks to Jim who came everyday to clean the big beautiful pool, in which we all had a really good time in , the water was lovely and never cold, Jim nothing was too much for you and you always had a friendly smile 😊 for us ,will miss you mate , Sam you was always there for us lol when we locked ourselves out and in a matter of minutes you was there to let us back in ,and have to mention your lovely mum , it was lovely meeting her. The location was fantastic and we will definitely be back next year , thank you for a brilliant holiday home for two weeks , highly recommend this villa xxxx

Villa was fantastic a real home from home with the added bonus of your own private pool.
27 June - 6 July 2018 - we stayed in villa with our two teenage daughters who loved the space and their own bedroom. Villa was well equipped, clean and very spacious. Having your own pool was fantastic and Jim cleaned it every morning, thank you Jim. From the initial booking of the villa everything was very smooth with Sam answering emails very quickly. The villa is located a 10 minute walk to the main beach and "strip" which had numerous bars and restaurants. The "Old town" is 10-15 min walk which again had lots of nice bars and restaurants, we preferred the atmosphere and bars in the "Old town". Lidl was a 7 min walk which was great and was always well stocked. If staying again in Puerto del Carmen then we would love to stay in this villa again. My only recommendation and it is a very small one would be another set of towels for each person staying.

Spacious villa with wonderful views
Returned just over a week ago from a lovely relaxing week at the villa. Light spacious and airy, comfirtable beds, and appreciated the milk tea wine in the fridge when we arrived. Pool was lovely and warm and didn’t need any extra heating , cleaned daily by Jim, one small issue with sun umbrella, nothing major just a missing screw but was fixed following day, and any emails answered within minutes. Supermarkets about 10 mins walk and main strip prob bit more but I walk at snails pace! Downhill so cabs back for me at about 3 euros or less, found prices very reasonable in the town, plenty of restaurants and cafes, days were hot and sunny but evenings were very cool, needed a light jacket, first visit to lanzarote but definitely not the last.
