Enjoy this luxurious 3,100 sq. ft. Log Home in The Galena Territory nestled into a secluded wooed lot. This 4 bedroom suite, 4 ½ bath home has king beds in all the bedroom, gourmet kitchen, game room, screened in porch, Hot Tub and views of nature in every room. The master bath has a large glass enclosed corner shower, skylight, Jacuzzi tub and mirrors covering 2 walls.

The main floor Great Room has 12 ft. walls, with trapezoid windows floor to ceiling and sliding glass doors going out to decks, patios, screened in porch and a 24 ft. tall Knotty pine cathedral ceiling with 3 big collar ties and 2 skylights. The kitchen is fully equipped, long Working Island with seating and the dinning table seats10 people. There are 3 full size plush leather couches around a stone gas fireplace with LED TV. On side of Great Room there’s a1/2 bath and the master bedroom with high end master bath.

The lower floor has 2 large bedrooms with private baths, full laundry room and large Game Room with pool table, foosball, corner gas fireplace and 3-panel slider going out to covered Hot Tub.

The upper floor has a balcony at top of stairs looking into Great Room and spacious bedroom with private bath.

The home was just what I expected, very clean and nicely designed. How was buried in the woods, surrounded by tall old trees (very scenic from all windows. Not much of a yard, as the trees are dense. Location is not far from the main road, so getting into Galena was a short ride. The owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again.

My friends and I(8 women over 50) go to Galena every summer. Same weekend for the past seven yrs. We have stayed in many different houses, This one checked all our boxes as far as requirements; screened porch, # bed/bath, etc. The FIRST issue and most serious is that the front door lacked a good lock, no dead bolt, no chain. The only lock was a door knob lock similar to one u would have for a bedroom door, Certainly not a secured front door lock. We did not feel safe while sleeping. Very unhappy about this point. All other issues have to do with the comfort of the home. It's obvious that this house is not ever used by the owner. No comforts what so ever:: -Chairs are hard w/ no pillows on kitchen or screened porch chairs. -No beach towels provided to use at pool or jacuzzi. - Fridge ice machine broken. Only provided 2 ice trays. -Limited toilet paper left to use. Only two rolls per bathroom. No Kleenex in any room. There were eight women staying there and it was not enough. - Not enough towels in each bathroom. They were low quality and VERY CHEAP TOWELS. -No toiletries available. Not a necessity but were always provided in other homes we've rented. The "White Rain" body soap/hand soap at sinks are cheap dollar store products. -No left over foils/spices/ baggies from previous guest. -Ants all over bedroom sinks. To summarize the house/landscape was beautiful. FRONT DOOR LOCK MUST BE FIXED. It needs some TLC and love. Just very cold and not very homey.

We hosted a small (15 people) family reunion. It was a great location for the "local" people while others chose to fly or make the drive. The kitchen was more than adequately equipped, the common area was perfect for interacting with family without feeling crowded. It was great to have a screened in porch but also the open deck. I wouldn't hesitate to book again when staying in this area.

The house was a perfect place for our group of nine to stay for the weekend. Having four bedrooms with associated bathrooms really allowed us to spread out. The large open living room and kitchen area was perfect for all of us to catch up and play a few games. It was a great trip and would highly recommend this property.

This place was great! Jeff, the owner, was very friendly to work with and quite knowledgeable about the area and offered excellent recommendations. Home was beautiful and well cared for. Plenty of space for our group with 4 king beds and each with their own bathroom. The deck and screened in porch were a great place to have your morning cup of coffee. Game room and hot tub also a plus. Would definitely recommend to others!!

This is a really great house! The bedrooms are spacious and quiet and the living areas have plenty of places to sit and chill. The basement is great great for the kids with foosball and a pool table. There is a large wooded area in the back that gives plenty of privacy and beauty. It was great to just sit outside and drink our coffee on the back deck every morning and watch the birds. Bring long pants and good shoes if you want to walk back there. If not, plenty of other places to walk that aren’t wooded. Great house great location!

Our stay was wonderful. Jeff's place had what we needed for 4 couples. 4 large bedrooms with dedicated bathroom. Bir, open living, dining and kitchen area for everyone to hang out in along with a great game room and outdoor deck with screened in porch. If we need a place to stay in the future, we know where we are staying.

The home is beautiful and suited all of us well! We had 9 total and the four bedrooms with each having a bathroom was perfect. The owners club has all the amenities with a pool, workout center, game room area, etc. Just a few minutes from downtown Galena and the drive to get there is scenic! We all loved it!

The house was beautiful with nice places for a large group to spend time inside and outside. The beds were reasonably comfortable, everything was perfectly maintained and cleaned. The host was extremely responsive and friendly at all times. Galena is a 15 min drive and everything we wanted to go to was almost immediately by us.
