Peaceful stay in relaxing surroundings

Size of room, size of bed, both larger than expected. Hospitality team were so keen to meet our needs. Very quiet and peaceful..

Nothing really! Perhaps...only thing I would say was I didn't really want towels changed each day...but they were..

Excellent stay, will recommend and return!

It was stunning, the house & the gardens! The staff were so welcoming and attentive. Great that our dog could be in the bar/lounge area! My husband is allergic to most dogs/hair/dander (not ours because she's hypoallergenic) and he didn't have any reaction in the bedroom, so just shows how well it is cleaned between stays! Lovely touch of dog bed, treats, bowls!

Have been to Bailbrook several times before and still feel it is a very good place to stay

Breakfast was excellent and the location was very good. Easy free parking was a bonus.

Poor lighting by tea making location.Overall stay was very good.

A relaxing break

Located within a £10 taxi ride of city centre. Room was clean with good facilities and comfortable bed. Breakfast had a good across the board range. Two main restaurants and a third one for breakfast only plus 3 lounge areas. Well kept gounds and gardens. Staff were very attentive, obliging and professional. Second "Hand Picked" hotel we have stayed in and it did not disappoint.

If I had to critique the AV equipment in the room was old.

A pleasant stay in a quiet area away from the city

Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean.

Maintenance of the lift not repaired during the 2 days there. Shower not working on the second morning as we left Reported to staff who said they were sorting it for others or find them another room

Location rural but very near centre of bath. So quiet and relaxing. Staff fabulous and a credit to the owners. Very attentive and accommodating.

Too expensive for an outdated hotel

Staff were nice, but facilities were outdated

Beds and pillows weren't comfortable. Elevator was not working. Food in the lounge was not good. Not worth the money for the cost of the hotel. Would not recommend or stay there again.

5 star all round venue

I cannot say anything bad about this hotel. The food options, staff, facilities, grounds, location. Is exceptional. So much so we have booked again for November.

I suppose you get what you pay for. You couldn't fault the room or the meals.

This is an exceptional property. The food is excellent and the room is so clean, comfortable and spacious. Parking is well away from the street.

I thought that the prices were a bit steep.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Position perfect as easy access to town via bus or car, but also exceptionally peaceful. Muntjac deer in the garden. Breakfast was very well catered and rooms vert comfortable with all we needed

Elegant mansion

Lovely grounds. Handy for bus into Bath. Lots of lounges to sit in . Hotel was very quiet and it seemed strange to be in a room so far away from the main part of the hotel. It felt like we were the only people in the building.Very nice staff .clean surroundings.

Excellent and would stay there again.

It was clean and well appointed with excellent, friendly and helpful staff.

Only criticism was the lack of power of the shower. Was not strong at all. Expected more.

Best choice to stay in bath for sure

Attention is super high level from a luxurious hotel and matches what you paid for, as an example, we went late for our dinner reservation almost 1 hour and they kept the restaurant open extra hours so we can have our dinner amazing service! Also our car went dead (battery) next day when leaving and they sorted out by calling a person to do jump start !! So whit this level of attention it was cheap what we paid

Exceptional

The staff, the food, the ambience and how truly pet friendly this hotel is. We will definitely stay here every time we visit Bath. Beds were comfortable, everyone we spoke to was very friendly and kind and the food at the fine dining restaurant must have been one of the best meals we have had recently.

Not much to say, maybe a bigger/healthier room service menu.
