About this cottage rental
This cottage ticks all the boxes; prime coastal location, 2 good sized double bedrooms each bedroom having it's own private en-suite bath or shower room. There is one designated car parking space, and an enclosed patio garden.
The interior is furnished and equipped to a very high standard indeed, offering a perfect property for that luxury break or holiday.
Blakeney is a lovely little port and the cottage is just a short distance from the quayside. Walk through the charming streets and lanes to find a deli, some little gift shops, cafes, 2 local pubs that serve food, a great fish restaurant - The Moorings, mini supermarket, and the smart Blakeney Hotel which is open to non residents.
There are boat trips from the quay to Blakeney Point seal colony, and coastal walks, one path leads to the nearby Wiveton Hall cafe / restaurant which has views over the marshes to the sea, and on to one of our favourite village pubs serving an truly excellent menu - The Wiveton Bell.
Along the coast are the huge sandy beaches at Wells & Holkham, Cley Beach, and on to Holkham Hall with its lovely grounds and cafe & upmarket shopping at Burnham Market.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week in Blakeney based in this lovely little cottage. The central location in the village was brilliant although we didn't use the Harbour Rooms nextdoor!

Our third stay at Legion Cottage which indicates our satisfaction of the property and why we keep returning
Due to the superb weather this year we spent much time in the rear patio/garden for breakfast and evening drinks. This drew our attention to the lack of maintenance of the patio and the lack of a parasol for the garden table. Minor points but the only slight criticism worth mentioning

The cottage is very cosy and well appointed. Nice to have two en suite bedrooms and a convenient downstairs loo and cloak cupboard. Conveniently situated - everything in the village is only a few minutes walk. Welcome pack on arrival - much appreciated. Highly recommended.

A few details that could have been better eg Several lamps not working, fridge door chafing on plinth, instructions for waste collection not clear, waste bin in kitchen lid not operating.

We have stayed in Blakeney a few times. This cottage is about 5 minutes' walk from the quayside. Car parking for 1 car, is in the Harbour Room car park, about 50 yards away, in a reserved space. The cottage was, apparently, built in the 1980s and has been well maintained. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard and has a pleasant courtyard garden. In this part of Norfolk, television programmes are broadcast from Lincolnshire, so no local news or information can be obtained. Radio reception can be poor. The adjacent Harbour Room, which is a community facility, does host live music evenings, which are quite audible from the cottage although not too intrusive.

Great place (bit dusty)
Lovely cottage quality fixtures great location. May well come back. Very slightly let down by cleaning, dust on some surfaces and upstairs floors. Shower grubby around bottom of doors.

Property was gorgeous and very well appointed. The location was perfect.Having said that we were very disappointed in the cleaning of the property especially in a pandemic. The the shower had two very long black hairs in the tray and area around the drainage was not clean. When we pulled back the sheets on the bed there was a long black hair I had taken all my own bedding to use. I would not have been happy to sleep in what was provided. I do not like to complain but feel you need to be aware of the situation. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Delightful cottage in quiet location in Blakeney.
Lovely cottage, very well equipped, comfortable beds, and cosy when the weather was nasty. Only slight problem for us, was the parking not being beside the property, as the weather was at times extremely bad!

Cosy cottage comfort
We loved Blakeney even under Covid restrictions. The cottage was extremely well equipped and very comfortable. The parking arrangements worked very well at the adjacent Harbour club. We could see the car from the bedrooms!

Beautiful in Blakeney
This is a real gem—a lovely cottage right in the heart of beautiful Blakeney. Super location—short stroll down the street to the waterfront and pubs, delis and store all within 5 minutes walk. The cottage is immaculately decorated and furnished with convenient parking. We had a fantastic week in the property and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Lovely cottage
The cottage was lovely, beautifully decorated and well equipped. There were some issues with cleanliness which I believe are being addressed. The check in was easy but details were delayed, we contacted management ourselves via Home away as had heard nothing less tha 24hours before check in, there was a fault with the 'contact the owner' link on the confirmation email

comfortable, stylish cottage within walking distance of the Quay
It is very well equipped, stylish and comfortable. great position, just a short walk from the Quay and restaurants. However, it was dusty, floors were sandy, whilst the fridge and cooker were not clean.

Lovely cottage in a great location
We were very impressed with this cottage, it had every thing you could possibly want, a perfect home from home!
The location was great, a short walk down to the beautiful harbour, such a pretty village.
The welcome hamper was very much appreciated, the owners have thought of everything to make their visitors so welcome.

Excellent well equipped and well thought out cottage
We loved our stay and the welcome gifts of fresh bread, milk, biscuits awere a pleasant surprise. The cottage had everything we could want and the children had lots of games to keep them busy.
The beds were comfy, the shower was great, the kitchen well equipped and they thought of everything.
It was a great base for walks locally to Morsten, a drive west to wells or east for the tank museum.
The decor is lovely and the kids were interested in all the little things left around for inquisitive minds.
Access and parking was easy to work out and we were lucky with the weather, but if you are not, there are CDs to listen to, games to play, magazines and books to read.
A very pleasant stay in a lovely place.

Very well decorated and furnished cottage in the heart of Blakeney. Outdoor patio area catches the sun all day. Perfect for two couples - 2 en suite double bedrooms with good views. Everything you need inside for your comfort, and your own parking space a few yards down the road. Welcome pack of bread, jam, wine etc on arrival - thank you.
