The staff was wonderful and took care of all our needs. We have stayed at this location years ago and the location is perfect. The basket was good. Could add a few more pastries and maybe fresh fruit.
Room was warm. Possibly add A/C or a window in bath for cross draft

The staff was friendly, helpful, and seemed to take pride in their service. I loved the small things like the picnic basket breakfast delivered in the morning it all tasted so yummy! We also loved the fire pit outside and the beautiful open windows in the lobby. We will be coming back.
N/A I was pretty happy

Their morning offering was a lovely treat. The room was adorable and fitted with great amenities. Woke up to a gorgeous view and took a walk along the beach, which was just across the street. Staff were super friendly and suggested a great restaurant in the area for dinner.

Beautiful coastal decor, very simple, but tasteful. The duvets, pillow and the bed were of a great comfort and quality. The location was great too!
It was a nicely updated, but still a cabin, therefore it felt a bit expensive.

Close to the water. Boardwalk was wonderful.
you can see ocean from your room
parking is tight

Dreamy place! We had a great stay

The double queen room is not good for 4 people. We travelled with two small kids and I wouldn’t recommend it. There is no room for anything, there is no table or desk of any kind. The teapot and everything is on the tv console, so you boil water and the steam goes up right onto the tv.
I would recommend any room at this hotel for 2 people max.

The ocean view was breathtaking, the bed was like sleeping in clouds and the morning basket filled with mimosas, coffee and sweet treats were so beautiful to wake up to.
Honestly, nothing. everything was so great.

They really thought a lot about the furnishings and how the space makes you feel. Hint: warm but polished, minimal yet cozy.
The only thing that would make it better is if they had a pool or spa.

My children spent their honeymoon at this location and fell in love with it. Everything was perfect from accommodations to friendly staff to location.

We enjoyed the decor and felt at home with the aesthetic of the entire property's lobby, rooms, and landscape. They have an incredible array of special touches, which we appreciated. The breakfast basket was extremely thoughtful, with high-quality coffee, pastries, and fun mimosa fixings!
The beach bags for guests to take with us to the beach was another thoughtful touch.
Laura took good care of my husband as he worked from the lobby in the mornings. She was super attentive to his needs and kept him supplied with coffee and pastries.
Drinks in your lobby one evening was a very relaxing and welcoming experience. Destiny made a killer old-fashioned and shared some great conversation and playlists.
Overall, we loved White Water and will be back for sure.
We were a family of 4 in a double queen room (#12). We loved everything about it and were grateful for the extra space with the ADA layout. There is one tip I would recommend. The room is missing surface areas to put belongings. Besides the cubbies in the bathroom and shelves in the closet, there was no table/bench in the room. An extra bench or wall foldable table under the big bay window to put the breakfast basket on and pour coffee would have been very useful.
Another tip is to have coat hooks on the inside of the bathroom doors. (Also in the public bathroom near the lounge).
The presence sensing light switches are a great energy-saving feature for sure. But in the bathroom, it would be great to turn off the auto-sensing light, especially during the night - the sudden flood of light as you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom is jarring. A soft night light in the bathroom would be great.

quiet
no cell phone signal so that you cannot make phone calls. It’s dangerous when you are in an emergency situation. To make things worse, the hotel staff refused to help out. The only assistance you can get from the staff is “driving out of the hotel for 5 minutes, you will get signals.”
