Samaru Beach House

Friendly and attentive staff. Perfect location (right on surf beach). Large shaded restaurant area as close to the sea as you can get. Decent hard surfboard rental available on site. Nice food (not expensive). Good quality sun loungers and shade. Spacious rooms with both fan and Aircon.

Nothing tbh. They could do with giving you a complimentary large bottle of water each day.

Awesome location at the beach, comfortable but ordinary accommodation.

The location is PERFECT, right in the middle of the training areas for surfing and the best possible swimming beach. The layout of beds and tables with umbrellas was the main attraction for me - an awesome way to spend a holiday. The breakfast was fresh and good - but unimaginative.

I only discovered after a few days that it was possible to order meals - something nobody seemed to be doing. Is this available or not? It would be really good to have a bar area near the beach - in which case I guarantee that you would get an evening crowd developing. As it is - the beach area closes up at sunset which is not good.

Relaxing and ejoyable

Awesome location. Cheap and friendly access to surfboard hire. Fantastic fresh breakfast every morning.

+ great, friendly staff + placed directly on beach! So you can leave your stuff at room and go directly to the ocean + Comfortable beds, stands to dry up your clothes +Felt quite safe (important when you travel alone) + Near other places such as clubs, restaurants

- lack of a pot to make tea in your room. The main kitchen, where you can order it for free was closed at 8. - the biggest disadvantage is the near club w15 which at 6pm starts to play extremely loud high bass disco. Fortunately they stop around 11 pm. But still if you're feeling tired, or just would like to listen to ocean, even the noise canceling headphones won't help. You will have disco in your room. - rooms are generally loud

Superb

Great hotel right on the waterfront, with its own section of beach with sun loungers. Staff were really welcoming and the room was big and airy, with a large bathroom. Huge garden which doubles up as a restaurant overlooking the beach.

Easy location & confort at good price

Great location. Surfing at doorstep. Room comfortable for price you paying & satisfied vs listing details. Walking distance from good eating places, bars, banks. Courteous staff

Wifi could be better. Payment needs to be cash if internet slow but banks close by so ok

Definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Breakfast was ample and tasty. The staff was very responsive, and the hotel was exactly as described. We were very happy with the location, and, right on the property is a surfing instructor and boards for rent. Perfect!

Samaru is not fancy, but we were not looking for that. It was exactly what we were looking for: clean beds, hot water, and they even had mosquito nets for the beds.

"Terrible Hospitality".

Only the location & surfing...other than nothing at all...

Terrible hospitality. I m not a person usually complains about little little things that anybody can go wrong as human beings. But this is intentional. Not recommend to anybody. I have being travelling a lot whenever I got a free. I would say this is the worst place I stayed up to now. May be they are having bad time these days. But this type of behaviour ...not reasonable at all.. They only want your money...there after nobody will take care of you. Breakfast brought from outside, acceptable because they may not have resource personal during this bad period but Didnt gave or ask even a glass/bottle of water following the meal.

Location was excellent. Venue had nothing to offer in the evening. Forget ordering cocktails..

I believe the staff had lots of room for improvement - proper training would not go a miss here. 4-5 of the service staff congregated at the kitchen, out of site of the guests, and vise versa...
