Superb

Perfect location in the city center, in the same time very close to the promenade. Sara is a great host, she was very kind and helpful. Room was very comfortable and clean with the convenient option of having breakfast in the bar just in front of the B&B. In the kitchen you can find the big map with main points to visit marked on it and couple of guides and maps of Salerno and the Amalfi Coast.

Centrally located. Nice bathroom with special bath. Giuseppe was friendly and helpful arranging a parking spot for us before we arrived.

There seems to be a tendency in Southern Italy to operate B&B's with the least possible work: at best the owner comes to check you in. Then he disappears. No breakfast served. Either you get a voucher to have it in a bar in the vicinity or you just do not get one. In this case, we got a voucher. Very few toiletries (2 shampoo/soap bags for 3 people).

Fine for a night.

clean comfortable spacious. Not too far from the ferry or from the railway station. Located on one of Salerno’s main streets. Good (but ‘fancy’) restaurant nearby (Casamare). breakfast offered at local cafe (but we didn’t use as had an early train so breakfasted near the Station).

Note there is no shower (only shower attachment in bath); for me this is a problem as I like a shower, but others might prefer a bath. Personal preference. Accommodation located on 2nd floor of residential building which looks a bit forbidding if you’re not used to town living. Salerno is typical scruffy town with rubbish all over.

Short relaxing stay in old Salerno.

Location convenient to the ferry harbor and the train station. Many restaurants within easy walking distance.

Signage is almost nonexistent, making it a bit hard to find. No one was at reception when I arrived, and had to call someone to let me in. Front door lock is a bit tricky to operate.

Excellent b&b in the centre of Salerno for a very good price.

The location was great. Very good restaurants and the bulevard was nearby. The harbour, train station and bus stops were near. About ten minute walk everywhere. The room was clean and comfy. The hosts were lovely.

Wonderful stay at Luigi's B&B!

Central B&B, close to the port and the historical city center with an elevator available in the building. Our host Luigi was super friendly and helpful and went out of his way to accomodate us when we realized we would arrive too late for regular check-in. Breakfast was served in the room by Luigi in the morning and we were able to store our suitcases in the B&B for half the day so we didn't have to bring them back to the car which was parked far away. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean and comfy, a little balcony gives view to a very typical mediterranean street scape. We loved our stay here, thank you Luigi!

Absolutely amazing!!!

It is without any doubt the best structure i have stayed in the past couple of years. Extremely clean ! Very spacious and bright room. The host was amazing. He took care of us from the moment we arrived, till the day we left. We will definitely return. Keep up the amazing work!!!

Perfect place to stay for Salerno and Amalfi

The location was beautiful, perfect for shops, restaurants and bars as well as the port if you wanted to venture out further by ferry. Giuseppe offered an excellent breakfast and the room was far more beautiful than the pictures show!

A stressful stay

The position is central.

Works in the flat upstairs as well as road works added to the stress of the stay which was stressful in its own way. On our last day, we asked for the room to be cleaned but the owner gave me 10 minutes to vacate the room despite the note in the room saying that cleaning would take place between 10.30 and 12pm - it was only 10am. They made their own rules and changed them. Breakfast was served in the room between 8.40 and 8.45am. Even though I asked for breakfast to be served at 9am it was still served around 8.30/8.40am. They would knock in the morning, serve breakfast and then knock again 10 minutes later with coffee from the electric machine. If you enjoy your coffee with your food you need to wait until your coffee is served - coffee and food are served at different times. This was the case also on the weekend - sleeping in was not an option. Moreover, there was an aggressive fight on Palm Sunday in the corridor; however, the owner blamed the guests. I heard an American woman asking the owner what was going on at 7.30am on Palm Sunday as she heard a lot of noise in the corridor which was unacceptable and the owner said it was the guests next door. I was petrified when I heard the fight at 7.30am on Sunday. When we eventually told the owner about the incident he said it was other “guests” next door. I can’t accuse anyone although I have my own opinion about who it was as I’m Italian and I understand Neapolitan dialect so I heard every word. Look. in a way or another it was not a peaceful experience and we won’t return. We left early.

Disappointing

I made the reservation for friends of mine. Finding the place was difficult. No one knew the name when my friends asked. The guy who had the keys was at a bar around the corner, and he didn't speak English. They did not understand what he was telling them. They tried to call the owner, but he never answered and did not call back. They are not happy at all.
