Casa Aventura is a remarkable property. Our seven Grandchildren ranging from 7yrs to 13yrs absolutely loved it. The layout is great for days at and in the pool, bbq on the outside patio early evening followed by fun and games in the upstairs bar area. Neil, the host is more than a super host, he is most definitely a super, super host who couldn’t do enough to make our stay, (16 of us in total ) as easy as possible. He would check in each morning to clean the pool and replenish any water or beer requirements. A really nice and helpful guy, nothing was too much trouble for him. He provided good directions and advice on the local bars Grandchildren restaurants in nearby Estacion de Cartama and even arranged an evening at the football for the guys. Cannot recommend this place enough, we had an amazing holiday, so thank you Neil, we hope we will return and meet again.

Well we had a great time at Casa Ventura for my wife’s 60th birthday celebrations , it was perfect for our family of 18 and a baby! three generations, aging from 3 months to 64, the space was fantastic , upper bar area with on tap beer was well used and fantastic value, games room was a great addition , outside eating and BBQ area was large enough for all of us to sit down, the large garden area had plenty of loungers and places to relax, the pool was well used and lovely, another bonus was a 20 litre water cooler in the kitchen, Neil was fantastic and a great host and was on hand to bring over replacement water bottles and beer barrels, he tended the pool every morning, and nothing was to much trouble, we also had a local lady come in and cook us all paella, what a lovely treat and great value, the town is a mile and a half away and walkable but the villa is up a hill so caught a taxi back which was about 7 euros , the town isn’t touristy, and was lovely to go and sit in the cafes with the locals also great value ! Malaga is easily accessible by train or cab!
Thanks Neil we loved it!

We had a fabulous holiday and barely left the villa. The outside space was amazing as was the bar area.
We barbecued most nights and the outdoor eating area was perfect for our large family.
The bar/games room was a game changer and amused old and young. The water dispenser and beer keg saved us so many trips to the supermarket, Neil was so responsive to anything we asked and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Had an amazing week at this Villa. Owners communication was great. The keg I 100% recommend if you love beer. The bolt app was fantastic to pre-book our taxis to the water park and Malaga centre. Would 100% book again

The villa was brilliant for us, in a quiet location. Having 4 autistic children out of 14 of us, the place had everything we needed. Neil the host was our pa for the week, local information, ordering taxis etc .. The kitchen had ample space & crockery, the dishwasher & washing machine were used everyday, there were enough bathrooms with towels for use indoors and towels for outdoors. The veranda has ample seating for everyone while bar b qing and watching people in the pool. I am happy to go back there again.

A perfect villa for our first family holiday (17 in total). The bedrooms and bathrooms worked well as did the communal areas especially the outside dining table that seated us all. Nothing was too much trouble for our host Neil, delivering beer, charcoal and water within minutes of calling him. Brilliant. Highly recommend.

We had a family of 16 staying in this villa and we had the best week! For the first 3 days we didn’t have very good weather but there was so many things to keep the 6 kids/teens and 10 adults occupied while the rain poured! We had a pool tournament and got a little tipsy at the bar (btw this bar is brilliant - would highly recommend getting the beer keg) when the weather brightened up we got a few rounds of mini golf in and we whipped on our bikinis and trunks and had hours of fun in the pool and jacuzzi the slide was such a good addition! And of course the oldies of our group had plenty choice of where they wanted to sunbathe as there was loads of sunbeds, hammocks and day beds. We had a small issue with the gas/power but Neil was so speedy with a solution and came to fix it as soon as he could. Neil came round to clean the pool and jacuzzi every morning and to make sure everything was okay!

Well what can I say about this place it’s been absolutely amazing and everything we wanted was there, including our own bar. A small walk into the village and very easy to get taxis just ask Neil (host). Neil you have been the best host we have ever had. I couldn’t fault the help you gave us. we have already recommended you and the villa to a couple of people who are interested in going.
Thank you thankyou thank you xxx

My wife and I booked this Villa for her 70th Birthday, we invited 16 family and friends including two children to join us. We arrived and were met by Neil and Sharon. The Villa was at the tail end on being cleaned and they both showed us around, explaining everything. First impressions, excellent. I had arranged a Paella and Salsa night on the day of my wife's birthday. I cannot express how fantastic this was and would highly recommend it to everyone who stays. Definitely one for the memory box. The lady (Peca) who cooked the Paella, was beautiful and friendly. Any help or information was provided immediately by Neil, a quick phone call and it was done. I walked into town on 3 occasions which only takes 20 to 25 minutes. Lovely town. The taxi ride back is 7 euros. Everyone to a man thoroughly enjoyed the facilities at the Villa, the pool and hot tub particularly. Oh, and the men enjoyed the upstairs bar!!! Neil provided the name of a local cake maker for a surprise cake for my wife. All arranged prior to flying and deliverred to the villa. Lovely local company, also recommended should you need one. Overall impression, excellent.

Thanks for an amazing week in this beautiful villa in a beautiful location. Lovely facilities to keep all ages occupied. We was a family of 16 ranging from 5-62! We loved the pool, hot tub, bar, games room and bbq facilities. Location is good to visit different areas, we visited Marbella, Torremolinos, aqua land and crocodile park. We hired a car to get round. Neil was fast to respond with any queries. We would Definately stay at this villa again.

Had a great week staying at Neil and Sharon’s property. Villa was lovely and clean. Plenty bedrooms for us all. Games room was a highlight with us all. Bar was very much in use the time we were there and chose to go for the keg which we drained. Pool was the perfect size and was big enough for all 12 . Short taxi ride to the train station that too us to centre of Malaga. Overall had an amazing week and Neil was great coming most days to check pool and make sure everything was alright. Would highly recommend.

We were a family group age range from 6-80+. Casa Aventura has great outdoor space with lots to do from play park to crazy golf to pool. The grown ups made full use of the games room ( and the bar!). The salsa / paella night was great fun. The area is quiet (car advised). Neil is a superb host who responded as soon as we called, to replace the water bottle, beer keg or just for advice. Thanks Neil

The villa supported the needs of 17 people with plenty of activities to do or just sunbathe. The bar and water cooler were used to their maximum. We had a hard job getting the children out of the pool . The villa gave us a feeling of a family residence with great support from the owners. Despite being in a rural area members of the family were able to drive to the beech within 25 minutes so we had the best of both worlds.

Perfect for our needs!
Casa Aventura is perfect for a large family with several children, as it has everything you could wish for, to keep everyone entertained in all weather! We had 7 kids under 7, who lived in the pool- well worth paying to have it heated in February- hot tub and fantastic play park. The adults loved the crazy golf, table football, air hockey, pool and upstairs bar area! There are so many tables and chairs around the outside of the villa, which were great! There is an abundance of crockery and cutlery, plus several fun inflatables for the pool. There is an abundance of fridge and freezer space and the dishwasher was brilliant! We made full use of the beer keg and large water bottles offered by Neil and Sharon, the owners, who were brilliant and could not do enough to help us! We particularly enjoyed the delicious paella cooked for us by Paca, a local resident, accompanied by gorgeous tapas and sangria. The location of the villa in a residential area on the edge of the town, is great for accessing open countryside on lots of quiet tracks, ideal for keen runners and walkers. You could take a different route every day! We took advantage of the excellent bus and train service into Malaga on several occasions. We would recommend hiring a car, as the nearest and excellent supermarket, Mercadona, is a 5 minute drive away and there are no local bars or restaurants within less than a 15 minute walk. There are 2 lovely children’s play parks within a 10 minute walk. We loved the fact it is not touristy and you are surrounded by locals. Also, it is only a 25 minute drive to Malaga airport! All in all, we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely return! Thank you, Neil and Sharon!

We stayed a week in the splendid villa of Neil and Sharon. The house has everything you can wish for and then some. Also the area where the house is is nice and quiet, 30 min from beach and 45 min from national park. During the week Neil was always on stand by to help or answer any question. So overall i can highly recommend the place.

Amazing
Absolutely brilliant holiday, Neil and Sharon are true superstars, nothing was too much trouble. The villa is very well equipped and maintained, we lacked nothing. The Salsa/paella night was first class. Neil popped by every morning to see to the heated pool and answer any questions. We all had an amazing time, and eagerly await our next visit. Thank you so much for everything. Regards to Roger and Nora x

Fantastic Casa in a perfect spot In Cartama
We have just returned from Spain having celebrated my 50th birthday at Casa Aventura.
The villa was the perfect place to celebrate with friends. There were 14 of us (all adults) so we used all the bedrooms and bathrooms. Having a villa with 8 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms was a real find.
Neil and Sharon have thought of everything … there was something for everyone … pool (which we paid to be heated), jacuzzi, bar billiards, air hockey, table football and the crazy golf! Just brilliant!
The bar was a highlight - we have all now mastered how to pull a pint! Neil had a keg of beer waiting for us and it lasted all 4 nights! There are loads of fridges in the bar which was great for the booze and soft drinks!
I’ve never stayed in a villa which has been so well equipped with cutlery, plates, serving bowls and baking trays etc. It made cooking for such a large number easy.
We spent plenty of time relaxing and eating at the villa but also ventured into the town for dinner (Xupadeo - very good) one evening. Also did a private wine tour at Bodegas Santa Rosario in Cartama. The drive wasn’t for the faint hearted but it was well worth it! Fantastic tour and plenty of tapas and delicious wines served by Bruno and his wife and all for €20 per person. We must have been there 3 1/2 hours! Also ventured to local destinations - Mijas Pueblo, Benalmedena and Marbella Old Town.
Our thanks go to Neil and Sharon who were really communicative and helped with booking the restaurant and coming up with other suggestions in the lead up to my birthday. Nothing was too much trouble during our stay either.
I booked Casa Aventura 18 months before our stay and am so relieved that Covid didn’t stop us visiting. The best birthday ever! We hope to visit again!

Second time for us and equally as good as the first.
The whole experience couldn’t be faulted, we had a fantastic time in an extremely well appointed villa with a very affable host Neil, who was always in hand to resolve any minor issues and indeed his constant supply of water and more importantly beer was greatly appreciated. Thoroughly recommend for large groups of all ages.

Recent Stay....
we had a fantastic time staying at the property, Neil and Sharon were fantastic during the build up and were very flexible with the booking and options related to COVID-19 and we are very appreciative of that. Property had everything we needed and more and we only left the villa to go to the supermarket! it catered for all ages, we were a group from baby to 85 years old. we can definitely see ourselves coming back with friends and family in the future. I guess we also hold the course record on the crazy golf ;-)

We're just back from the best Christmas ever. Three generations aged 2 - 60, we couldn't be happier. The area is peaceful and very beautiful - we found a neat 5k route with stunning views that some of us ran/walked every day. The sun rises directly in front of the villa so we sat and watched the most amazing skies every morning .The house is well laid out so the night owls had the rooms upstairs (near the bar) and those requiring more sleep had the quieter rooms below. Definitely good idea to have pool heated and keg of beer ready for our arrival.Neil is the kindest of gentlemen, popped round most days to service the pool/hot tub, only lives next door so no problems with emergencies like Lidl running out of BBQ charcoal on Christmas Eve - Neil saved the day there.Grand daughters adored the play area as well as the pool, crazy gold is nearly ready for you 2020-ers, enjoy! It's great walking /cycling area. If you want to walk Caminto del Rey, you need to book weeks ahead - I missed out.Estacion De Cartama has lots of great little restaurants and bars - its not really a tourist area, so feels very Spanish. Malaga way better that Marbella in our opinion, and that's a 20 minute drive away.Lidl is amazing (you really do need a car) 100% better than any UK version, loads of fresh sea food, amazing cheeses & bread plus really good selection of veggie food. All food cheaper than UK and alcohol is obviously way cheaper, thank you again Lidl. So, any drawbacks? The potato peeler was rubbish. I would really struggle to find any other fault. The villa is homely rather than glamorous, which is great when a family of 12 just want to relax. Can't recommend highly enough. Have a great stay!

Our family had a brilliant holiday
First time renting a villa and was the best holiday our family has had
4.0 / 5.0
Great!
Party of 16 stayed here for fortnight, aged range 12-68. Property has everything you could ask for. Everyone enjoyed the pool and games room plus the salsa night was hilarious. Great time had by all. Neil and Sharon were exceptional and acted promptly with anything we asked. Location was in a quiet area which had good views of the countryside. We didn't hire a car however felt that this would have been beneficial for shopping and getting about as this 25 minute walk to town was a bit much for some of our residents. However taxi service benefited from this and the train service was exceptional (and cheap) for the day trips we did to Fuengirola, Torromolinos, Benalmedena and Malaga. Would recommend this for those who wish a relaxing holiday experience.
