About this house rental

A light, bright, convenient, and well equipped 2 bedroom modern holiday villa situated at Atlantic Reach, a family oriented holiday complex. The house is ideally situated to serve as a base to explore all that Cornwall has to offer. But please note we do not offer wifi.
To keep costs to an affordable level the use of site facilities is not included in the cost of the holiday. Unfortunately, there is no option for guests to pay separately for their use either. However there is a friendly cafe/bar on site for guests to use and children may use the outdoor play area. In the main holiday season there is an on site shop for all your essential food and non-food items. The Manor Arms is now open to all guests and has received very good reviews for its menu and service. .
This property is close to the surfing beaches of Newquay and North Cornwall and is well placed to serve as a base for exploring all of Cornwall with its rugged beauty, lovely beaches, quaint seaside towns and attractions such as The Eden Project. The holiday complex is well situated being approximately one mile from the A30 which is the main road giving access to the length and breadth of Cornwall and connected at Exeter to the M5.

You enter the house by the sliding patio doors into the lounge with its 2 sofas and large flat screen TV and DVD player. The thermostat to control the heating is on the right hand wall next to the beneath stairs cupboard which contains ironing board and iron,childs cot and highchair, bodyboards, tennis rackets and balls. Passing the cupboard one comes to the kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, and fridge freezer. It is well supplied with cooking and eating utensils and the kitchen table seats 4.
The stairs then take you upstairs to the 2 bedrooms with bathroom between. The switch for the water heater is located on the upstairs landing next to the light switch. The modern bathroom has handbasin, WC and quadrant shower. Please note that toiletries and towels are not supplied. The front bedroom contains a modern and recent double divan bed, dressing and bedside tables. There is also a spacious built in wardrobe. The rear bedroom has a pair of recently purchased single beds with a bedside table between. There is a white wardrobe for your clothes. The above stairs built-in cupboard is not open for guests' use. All bedding, sheets and pillowcases are provided.
At the front is a paved patio with new picnic bench. There is a parking area just down from the house but in busy times you may have to park elsewhere. Before arrival we will ask you to complete and return a simple form (Non Let Booking Form) to secure your free parking on the site. We will also email our House Manual with directions, info about the house and places for you to visit.
NB We cannot accept under- 30's non-family groups.

Our second visit to this lovely little property. My family and myself love to stay here as it opens up our gateway for discovering all that Cornwall has to offer. The property is well located, clean, well equipped, well looked after, it has plenty of room for four to stay and lots of storage for clothes etc. Parking is communal however there are always spaces nearby or up at the main carpark so not much of a problem. The owner is so helpful and will answer any questions you have. We give this property a big thumbs up! Will sure be visiting again in the future. A+++

It was lovely staying here, we stayed for a week at beginning of August 2022, the property was very clean, tidy, well looked after, kitchen was well equipped, large fan oven, microwave, bathroom with shower was perfect and all the beds were very comfortable indeed for a great nights sleep. No wifi except at site reception. However we are on Vodafone and got good 4G signal here, so all good. Large tv, sofas were comfy and lovely table in kitchen with 4 chairs for dining or playing board games. Also lovely little picnic bench outside too for sunny days. Parking is either near the property outside or there is a larger car park further down the bottom of the hill around the corner, which is still a short 3 min walk away. We could use all the site facilities apart from the Swimming Pools and Gym which we were not fussed about, as there are so many beautiful beaches nearby. Newquay is a 15/20min drive away and the site is only 5 mins from A30 so can visit lots of other places in Cornwall too. Kids enjoyed the arcade and play park, we went to Bar / Club House, had a lovely meal at the Manor Arms Restaurant the food was amazing!!! Overall one of the best Holidays we've had in a long time!!! Communication with owners was brilliant, will definitely be staying here again!!! We give this property 10 out of 10!!!

No WiFi was a negative. It was down on 2 days at the Reception. 7 miles out from Newquay was too much for us. I may have missed it in the info given. Otherwise we were happy and enjoyed our break. Suggestion - put a note on the hot water switch not to switch it off. My friend from abroad switched it off so we had no hot water one day. Thank you. Margaret

We had a very comfortable stay, everything was available in the house to make our stay most enjoyable. Atlantic Reach is within easy reach by car of all the attractions and beaches in the area. We would definately use this property for a holiday in the future. We didn't use the amenities at Atlantic Reach so were are unable to make comment. Communication with David the owner was excellent, the information provided made the check in very easy and seamless.

The development -fine for a short stay - 4 days. development is quite basic with little investment in improving landscaping. although promised internet twice - once when booking and the second on checking in, discovered that wifi worked fine only in the rather grim shop / cafe but that it was not actually connected to the internet! No plans or interest in doing so either. As we needed to stay in touch with family and 3rd party contacts this required a round trip of 10+ miles to go to the local library.Accommodation -This was basic but clean. We were very pleased to arrive 'home' each evening.SummaryIt served our purpose very well as it was very conveniently located in the centre of the county - not far from any of the prime locations. Short stay only 4 nights

We arrived very late but the property was easy to find and access. Clear directions were given in the information. Upon entry the property was in very clean good condition. Had everything we needed. Nice quite location in the park and facilities nearby. Parking easy and free.

We had a great time in Cornwall and the weather was kind to us. Our stay was helped by the property we stayed in It was very clean and well kept, the bed linen was clean and of good quality and we had everything we needed to make our holiday special. They property was well layed out, it had all the essentials! The atmosphere of the whole site was positive and welcoming, however there could have been a few ammendments with the place like a fan in the rooms for hot nights. But a lovely stay!

We came with our dog and 17 and 14 year old. The property was just the right size and had everything we needed. The complex is peaceful and situated about 15 mins from Newquay. Would defiantly stay again.
