The atmosphere was great! Loved the location. The staff were very accommodating. The dinner was excellent.
The spring mattress was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that everything was fine.

Posizione favolosa.

Our stay at the camp was absolutely wonderful! A really nice driver picked us up at the Visitor Center and we experienced a breathtaking Jeep Tour through Wadi Rum at Sunset. The Room was big and so beautiful! After they showed us our cabin we drank tea with the people who worked there. After that, we opted for Dinner, which was super delicious and the breakfast the next morning was fine. The best Foul I had in my life. The desert is beautiful and I can only recommend staying at this camp.

The service one the camp was excellent, and the food was very delicious. Exceeded my expectations - Salman is a very generous host. I came back a month later with my family and enjoyed the camp once more.

Location on the desert.
Silent place, no other camps nearby. Toilet and shower in each tent. Awesome view through the huge Windows on the desert.
Better communication skills (poor english) of jeep driver.

We stayed 2 nights, it was really relaxing. The first day, we 2 were the only guests, and sit by the campfire with Bekir, Tina and the other camp staff, talked about our cultures, stargazing etc. They are all warmhearted, helpful, welcoming people. Location is very quiet, no artificial lights, there is no other camp near, so you can see the stars very clearly. Waking up to that sunrise view and colors is the highlight. Rooms have amazing mountain views. While resting in my bed, i saw some camels feeding grass come very near to my room! It was amazing. Rooms are clean, hot water is available at any time. Very special thanks to Bekir for making delicious dinner including zarb, and making me morning coffee, preparing me some lunch for my jeep tour, i have already missed him!
Our arrival was very close to sunset, upon my request Salman arranged our pick up point according to that so we can watch amazing sunset before going camp, it was really superb gesture.
Shukran for all.
It would be great to put a coffee table in the rooms to put some little stuff, and the towels could have been better, some more water absorbing i mean.

Salman is a real host. His camp Is located in one of the best corner of the Wadi Rum protected area far from the caothic jeep tracks that run from Wadi Rum village to the South part of the reserve. The rooms are clean, with private wc and with a magnific window on the desert. The food made by the chief is very tasty.
The bedouin driver and Johnny were very kind and helped us when we got lost.
HE IS ONE OF THE FEW THAT ALLOWED YOU TO REACH THE CAMP BY FOOT AND DOESN'T FORCE YOU TO DO THE JEEP TOURS.
Thanks Salman and all your team for the beautiful experience.

The location is perfect as you don't see any other camps/lights and hear any noises. The staff - this is the best customer service I have ever experienced - everyone is kind, polite and respecting your private space. The food - delicious and no way to finish it all. The tents have its own bathrooms, you get really warm blankets. You have a big window in it to look at the moon at night or the sun just after the sunrise - what else you need! Nothing to complain - this is the camp on the dessert but has more facilities than expected! The owner will help you with organising a transport, e.g. from Petra or Aqaba, if you wish. No hidden cost - all clear. The jeep tour with their driver - amazing. He is such a good man going extra mile to make sure you take 100% out of it.
It was in Feb so not really warm nights to enjoy the sky from outside and definitely my stay was too short!

Just look at the photo below. What else would you expect staying on the Wadi Rum desert when you wake up and go to bed ?
Our desert tour was also amazing. Getting a pick up truck out of the sand was such a good fun! Respect to our young driver ;)
There was nothing what we didn't like.

Salman and his people have been warm and efficient and the buffet dinner was very good. The tent had a large window with a beautiful view where we could see stars and sunrise. Unforgettable. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for an unique and memorable experience this is the place to stay. Great staff, comfortable tent and wonderful food. Take some cash with you for the dinners and desert activities. You can't leave the desert without a dinner at Salman's camp and a jeep tour through the desert.
Thank you to Salman and to all the staff. Special thanks to our desert guide. For us, you are the best photographer in Jordan. Thank you :)

Salman is extremely hospitable and his people, they will do anything to please you, our bungalow was cleaner than some hotels in Jordan, extremely reasonable price, the camp is located inside the wadi rum desert in a great place, we stayed for two nights... I can arrange a jeep for you tour and camel riding....all the praises for Salman!!!

This was the second time to visit Salman's camp, the first was in 2018. Since then, the camp had an amazing makeover. The camp was completely renovated and the tents are now ensuite with an amazing (big-window) view of the desert. The location is ideal, quiet with no light or noise pollution. The staff were very hospitable. The highlight of our stay was the full-day tour organised by Salman which included a 4x4 tour, hiking to the highest peak of Jordan, Jabal Umm ad Dami and then lunch cooked by bedouins.

Nice place in the middle of wadi rumi desert. Far away from Chaos and very friendly people. Salman is a great person.
Rooms a little bit cold during the night.

We loved the flexibility and the care of the host, the tent that had everything we needed with an exceptional view to the desert through a huge window!
They were very friendly, gave us delicious food and Jeep and Camel tour opportunities.
We loved it!!

The camp was in an beautiful & remote location, you can experience the perfect silence.
The food was freshly cooked and delicious, staff was very accommodating with our requests.
We loved Aymen who took us for the jeep tour, he is the best! Salma was very helpful and friendly. The chef was very talented made loads of local food which was cooked underground.
We liked everything.

The stay in the camp couldn't be more perfect, it is difficult to even describe the atmosphere, you must come there. Extremely nice people, peace, a sense of community, it was all amazing! Additionally, you can buy a jeep road during the day or camel ride to the sunrise, which we highly recommend! The taste of the tea served is still remembered, and the cute kitten guarding the camp stole our hearts ❤️ To sum up: you have to experience it and see it with your own eyes, otherwise you will not believe it!
Nothing! Everything was just perfect!

We loved everything. The location of the camp and the tents were beautiful, we travel very frequently and this is the best place in the world we’ve ever been. All the staff was very kind and lovely, they didn’t miss any detail. They treat you as family not as a customer. The food was delicious and the day trips excellent (camel ride to see the sunrise and 4x4 ride to see the dessert), they take you to places others don’t go and take for you the most originals pictures. We are just sad for not staying longer, they are the best in the whole country. Thank you very much for everything to Abu Ayman, Salman, Khalid and the rest of the guys.
This comment is not about the property, everything was great. Just be careful at arrival with pirates who will try to make you cancel your booking saying that Salman’s camp it is not inside of the Wadi rum reserve, but this is not true, Salman’s camp has the best location in the whole reserve, please call Salman once you are arriving to Wadi Rum

Amazing experience. The camp location has a spectacular view but is also very private with no other camps in site (this seem to be quite rare in the reserve). The staff were very accommodating and helpful, jeep tour with our Bedouin guide was a massive highlight - we visited some hidden spots and had fun on the dunes. Authentic dinner and breakfast also delicious. Shout out to Staś, an awesome host among the team!

Great location of the camp - in quiet and beautiful area in the middle of the desert, what makes staying there a magical experience (a lot of other camps are located near the main road, not inside desert). Rooms are great and look even better in real life than in photos. Owner and other workers are very nice and caring. There is a well developed infrastructure - places to relax in the evenings. We highly recommend taking 4 hour trip.

Unforgettable experience. Salman and their family are great hosts.

The hospitality and atmosphere in the camp were really nice. After a typically Bedouin diner, we sat around a camp fire in the middle of the camp for tea which was really cozy.
PS. Dîner is not included in the price but was worth it's money.
We didn't receive a lot of information concerning the possible activities we could do in the desert.
We heard from other people that you could've gone sand boarding, do a hike to a really nice stone bridge and many other things..
A little unfortunate.

very hospitable hosts, really clean and well maintained, I was here for the 2nd time, last time was 4 years ago and I see how well they developed the accommodation and facilities. excellent dinner and tea, fabulous guided tour in the desert. I like it is not close to the road but a bit further and you really get the feeling of being in the desert

Salman Zwaidh Camp was really a highlight of our 8-day trip around Jordan.
Searching for a camp in Wadi Rum before our trip turned out to be quite a difficul task, with hundreds of options all around Wadi Rum. However, as we wanted to experience Wadi Rum the "Bedouin" way, we opted no to go with the over-hyped Bubble tents, but we rather decided to stick wtih the authentic Bedouin tents.
After hours of searching for the correct camp, we decided to go with Salman Zwaidh Camp, as it offered tents with huge glass windows, private bathrooms and a breakfast for the cheapest price possible. First we were quite skeptical of the cheaper price than of the other camps, but our decision has turned out to be the best thing we've done in Jordan.
A pickup was waiting for us at a parking at the entrance to the Wadi Rum desert, driving us straight to the camp. The camp chief immediately welcomed us with hot tea and shisha, totally complimentary! The tents were really spacious, with big ensuite bathroom, and the cleanliness was way better than our previous 3-star hotel!
Speaking of the location, this was a totaly dream! Compared to other camps, which were right next to the main road, or bundled together with multimple other camps, Salman Zwaidh Camp was totally secluded from the civilization, in between 2 mountains completely protected from the strong Wadi Rum winds.
We purchased also a dinner in the camp for 10 JOD/person, which was extremely delicious & freshly cooked the traditional Bedouin way. The breakfast and lunch was also great.
The following day we went for a 5h safari around the Wadi Rum desert. We were first recommended a 3h tour by som people in Petra, but the 5h tour turned out to be much more relaxing, where we could enjoy each location for a bit longer, and take hundreds of photos without any stress. Later in the day we went for a 1h camel ride across the desert, which was also a great experience!
