Great location, traditional decor, lots of helpful tips and information, very helpful staff, a lovely welcome at check in.
The lift is a bit temperamental and the stairs are not well lit.

nice space and decor, attentive meet and greet, good comms.
stairwell needs some lighting- perhaps we missed the light switch. Needed several keys to get through the doors and some were difficult to operate.

The location was perfect.
The noise, it is understandable since the building is from the 1500’s but the elevator, people walking the stairs and neighbors can be heard clearly from the room.

good rate and located in walking distance to most attractions
doors and floor are old and not well constructed, flimsy, not sturdy.

Lorenzo is an amazing and friendly host, we felt very welcomed. The room looks exactly like in the pictures and even better. The view was the best, always nice to wake up to see the sights. The kitchen is so cute, loved cooking on it. Overall recommend this place!

The location was good and the staff were friendly, professional and responsive.
The floor wasn’t cleaned properly. Some kitchen utilities were not properly cleaned.

The historical apartment is beautiful and the location is super central.

Fantastic apartment in great location very close to the Piazza Duomo, small but modern bathroom, great kitchenette, had everything we needed including a lift to get to the 3rd floor. Access to a communal washing machine was a bonus.
The furnishings were a bit eclectic and didn’t match the overall decor of the room but that is being very nit picky.

The location is wonderful, just down the side of the Duomo. Our host Lorenzo was really helpful and very informative.
The fantastic renovations to the rooms have revealed frescoed walls from the 1650's.
The lift is an amazing piece of engineering, but could be a bit claustrophobic for some (like my wife)!

Absolutely gorgeous better than pics.so welcoming and informative..bottle of lovely wine for us..excellent area ...lots of restaurants ...supermarket if needed...steps from the beautiful Duomo. Shopping etc ..waked everywhere and train station good to walk to also if going further afield.
Would recommend to anyone...elevator up as well ...bonus..
Loved it and hope to return.it felt so Italian..but every modern facility.
Nothing...just that we had to leave...

I loved this apartment! Romantic & full of character. Great value, very spacious and perfect location - about 1 min walk to Duomo Cathedral.
Lorenzo was very helpful and provided more support than most hotels I’ve stayed at!
If we are lucky enough to come to Florence again, then your apartment would be our very first choice.
Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Nothing - I’d stay here again.

location and interior decor seemed to fit the Florentine atmosphere -- and caretaker Lorenzo gave us wonderful suggestions marked on a map and we tried most of them!
the bed was a bit uncomfortable

Florence is a beautiful city. Beautiful and amusing. This place was the best thing we had in Florence. Impeccable architecture. We felt like we have travelled centuries, and felt a part of the culture at Florence. They have preserved the essentials and feels of a 5 century old apartment. The service was beautiful. The host coordinated with us very well and also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine as a gift. We savoured it whole-heartedly. I wish that I will be able to come to Florence again, and I want to come here again to stay.
Everything was great honestly. I do not have anything that I can talk against this place. If I have to mention, the AC did not do enough cooling. As far as I remember, it did not go under 16.

This room felt like a wonderful Fairytale, I loved the big giant windows. The paintings on the wall and ceiling were beautiful as well. We also had a neighbor who was a cat.
Honestly, nothing. Everything was great.
