The Villa itself is nice but there are so many little things the owners need to take care of, we can't give a good rating. Many issues seem small on their own, but all in all combined it just doesn't fit to the described luxurious house. A lot of these things were already mentioned in other reviews, i.e. missing towel holders, broken tiles, broken mirrors, broken bed frames, rusty dishwasher, broken window glass (covered with black foil), broken patio locks, leaking water heater - the list goes on and on. Contrary to the described calm area, there is a construction side right across the street. The safe wasn't usable, as you couldn't close the door properly. One toilet cistern was leaking and thus constantly refilling. Neither hot water nor a working pool pump the during the first days. Missing tiles (you could just start digging in the plain earth) due to prior water damage that just got covered with a plank.
Multiple visible break in attempts (actually including a successful one during our stay) and we got a wooden stick (like somebody else mentioned) to "secure" the patio doors.To top everything, various people just enter the house on their own (once for dropping a missing key, once for pool cleaning) without prior notice.
The owner and cleaning personell all seem nice, it's a pity they just let that property decay and don't do necessary maintenance.
On a positive note, the pool is nice, the working equipment and kitchen as well, also the area is really welcoming .

Overall good
Our flight was delayed and could not meet agent at the house so had to collect keys from commercial property. As new to area, took a little time to get our bearings. Could do with possibly a key box outside property for these eventualities. Told TV was not working by agent over Whatsapp and they would get sorted Monday. I fixed the problem that night. Great place, plenty of room for 8 people or 4 couples, but if you have a couple with 4 children or individuals, the extra bedroom that is available is accessed via a staircase by the pool outside and down some stairs through a door and a room with bathroom is there. Because we had my mother-in-law with us neither she or any of my children wanted to sleep there as a bit isolated from main house. I had to sleep in there on my own for 2 weeks as my wife and mother-in-law slept in same room in the main house. Not a problem for me, but just something to note. The main fuse board tripped out a few times that night when we had just got there and if you did not know what to do or what to look for could have been an issue. Flipped it back on, but kept tripping because everything was being switched on. Informed the agent and was told someone would visit. After allocating rooms, found the some of the beds had slats that were loose or missing, particularly my eldest daughters room, she fell through the middle when sitting on the mattress. Will be an issue for people with small children as the slats moved as not fixed! moretoadd

The overall layout, being open plan, was very good. Kitchen was well appointed, no kettle then 2 arrived.
There were several issues that should have been picked up by owners and corrected. The basement bedroom had a real problem because of the sewerage smell which was reported but not actioned. Nobody was prepared to stay in the basement so one grandson slept on a mattress on the floor upstairs. I specifically require a 5 bedroom villa for our family holiday, so regrettably I will not be able to consider this villa in future

Das Haus ist sehr sauber, eine gut ausgestattete Küche , eine traumhaft schöne Terrasse und der Pool ist spitze. Wir waren alle rundum zufrieden.

Helaas maken ze het niet waar en zit er geen hart meer in het huis
Helaas aangekomen in een heel erg vies huis. Schimmel in de gordijnen en de vensterbanken waren er vol mee binnen in huis. De vloer erg smerig, terras niet schoongemaakt en het zwembad ook niet. Het huis had 3 maanden leeg gestaan en ze hebben voordat wij kwamen niet even een hele goede schoonmaakbeurt gegeven en alles goed doorgelucht. Aantal apparaten die het niet deden. Een zoon van de eigenaren heeft daarna wel alles in actie gezet maar de eerste twee dagen waren hierdoor weggegooid. De eigenaresse gaf nadat wij alles hadden aangegeven een erg rare reactie. Ze schreef letterlijk: "ga liever lekker de zon in dan zoeken naar haren op de grond". Jammer dat dit zo moest gaan want je kan van dit huis echt iets heel erg moois maken. De eigenaresse gelooft ook blind in haar schoonmaakteam die ze extern inhuren en vond ons eigenlijk zeurende gasten....wij hebben zelf gezien hoe dit team dit doet....niet goed en wij moesten zelf elke keer aangeven wat er nog extra moest gebeuren. Dit is best de omgedraaide wereld waar je als gast zelf een schoonmaakteam moet aansturen.
Helaas voor ons geen reden om hier terug te komen en een zeer onprettig gevoel aan de eigenaresse over gehouden.

Amazing Villa
We spent a month here and it was amazing the pictures really don’t do it justice it’s 100 times better, it’s equipped with everything you could possibly need, it’s spotlessly clean, the swimming pool is amazing we used it every day, it’s situated in a lovely area with plenty of restaurants, local shops, cocktail bars and gyms you can join, Cedric was a pleasure to meet and was always on hand for help and advice we will definitely return

Lovely Villa.
Lovely, spacious and very clean villa. The pool is a highlight, it is a good size and deep throughout. I was a wary of the salt water but it wasn’t an issue for us. Great location close to a rocky beach and within walking distance of several bars and restaurants. Palm Mar is a fairly quiet resort but only 10 minutes by car to Los Cristianos.
Good communication with the owners who were there to meet us and dealt with our queries promptly. The pool heater broke during our stay but an engineer was sent out the same day. Would definitely recommend.

Herrliches Ferienhaus für eine große Familie
Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa von Cedric und Chantal Lemaire war so wunderbar, wie wir es, nach Betrachten der Fotos, erhofft hatten. Das große, helle, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Haus bot alles für einen entspannten Familienurlaub mit 10 Personen: komfortable Schlafzimmer und Bäder, großzügige Wohnräume und viele Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten auf der Terrasse. Der beheizte Pool wurde in den 10 Tagen zweimal gereinigt und war mit den verschiedenen Spielgeräten der Höhepunkt für unsere vier Enkelinnen (10 und 13 Jahre alt).
Cedric war immer erreichbar, freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Ein defekter Sonnenschirm wurde am nächsten Tag ausgetauscht und kleine Gefälligkeiten wurden schnell erledigt.
Wir haben die Ruhe von Palm Mar genossen, die hellen Tage auf der Terrasse, den Meerblick mit Sonnenuntergang über La Gomera und abends in der Ferne die Lichter von Los Cristianos. Für Ausflüge und Wanderungen auf der Insel ist die Lage durch die nahe Autobahn ideal.

GREAT VILLA
The villa is set in a beautiful location called Palm Mar, not far from the town of Las Americas, 10 minutes by car, we hired a car for the week which made it much easier for us to get to the supermarket/touristing areas etc. The villa itself is perfectly decorated with all amenities that you would need for your holiday. It is very spacious with more than enough room for 10 guests. We were very impressed! Chantal and his family were excellent hosts, they made us feel very welcome. I will definitely be coming back to stay at this villa in the future and will be recommending it to all of my family and friends. Thank you!

Secondly, the house was very nice, commodious, and clean with a lovely pool and a roof terrace to enjoy the ocean, the beautiful surroundings and not least the sunset.

WONDERFUL VILLA WITH SEA VIEUW
The house in Palm-Mar is a wonderful vacation retreat in a quite neighborhood. We where warmly welcomed. The house is well equipped for everything you would need during your stay and with it's delightful outdoor spaces gives you the opportunity to relax, enjoy the warmed swimming pool, lounge chairs, barbecue etc. There are a few shops and restaurants in walking distance, an Italian restaurant with very good oven baked pizzas, the Sea Lounge is a joyful place to visit and for me the best restaurant in Palm Mar as is the restaurant at the beach: the Bahia Beach Club that we also recommend. We would gladly return again and hopefully we will in the future. Thank you for your lovely contribution to making our holidays so great

We can recommend the house.
We enjoyed our stay in the nice Vila close to the sea. Palm-Mar is a little and very quiet place, where you can by what you need in the supermarked and there is quit a lot of restaurants. Los Christianos is only 10 min. by car, where you can bye everything and there is lots of tourist.
We all loved the warm saltwater pool even the water was deep. We had four children from 2-4 year and we spend many good hours in the water.
We had beautifull sunset ower the sea and nice walks, just outside our back garden.
We had only few minutes to the motorway and to get around on the beautifull Tenerife.
The house was well function and good equipment. We also used the rooms seperatet from the house, it was ok, but you had the feeling of "celler".
A little problem with power cut. You can only let one or two machine work at the same time. I know the family is working on it.
All the furniture is nice and white but of course difficult to keep clean. There is lots of sunbed and places to sit and you can open up the big doors to the garden.
When we aske for an extra babybed, it was no problem. Wery kindly.
We were a family of ten persons and we enjoyed our stay.

Prachtige villa!
Het is een prachtig huis met 4 mooie slaapkamers met goede bedden. In de kelder zijn nog 2 slaapkamers, die zijn minder aantrekkelijk maar voor kinderen die een eigen honk met eigen ingang willen wel heel geschikt. Het zwembad is op goede temperatuur zelfs s morgens in januari! De ligging is in een rustige buurt maar vlakbij strand en de restaurants. Geen oprit voor de auto maar er kan aan de straat geparkeerd worden. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en kunnen een verblijf zeker aanbevelen.

We have stayed in numerous villas over the years and I must say, this was one of the better ones. Everything clean and tidy and lovely location near to beach and shops.

it is a superb villa, clean, very spacious and adequately furnished for 10.
Bedrooms are a good standard though one is accessed externally to the villa (downstairs from the pool area). The kitchen is modern and well stocked and a pleasant work area. The dishwasher is not the best (need to wash dishes at least twice). Children thought the T.V. was fantastic.
The pool is reasonably sized though it is quite deep and non-swimmers will struggle, it was saltwater filled , which affected the children's skin though Vaseline on the affected areas rectified this. The children loved the pool. There is plentiful seating around the pool but the cushions are quite stained and need replacing. Location is within walking distance of the sea shops and restaurants. recommend a visit to choco loco gelateria for icecream. We enjoyed our stay.

On the surface this villa looks ok but the photos are out of date the villa needs painting and also around the pool,the dishwasher is broken hence we had to use the kitchen sink which is split and has gaffer tape on it but it leaks everywhere,then there's a mirror with more gaffer tape across it,the sun beds are dirty and need replacing and the patio door doesn't lock so you have to wedge a wooden pole against it ,therefore this villa definetly does not warrant the £2200 price tag for a weeks stay and I have rented far superior well maintained villas for half the price ten minutes up the road at golf de sur !!

Super Villa mit tollen Sundower
Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Villa. Der Meerwasserpool ist großartig.wir haben jeden Abend den sundower genossen. Auch die Lage ist super, weil schön ruhig und trotzdem ist man in 15 min mit dem Auto im belebten Los Amerikanos, wenn man das möchte. Uns hat es jedenfalls super gefallen und wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.
