Incantevole

Amazing and peaceful weekend

We had a good time during our stay, the staff was wonderful and made us feel at home. The Chef prepares delicious seafood . The pool was really great, good size with great view to the sea. I would definitely come back.

They could check if all it's in working condition before next guest. The AC in one of the bedrooms was not working, and we only found out at night. We had to squeeze in the whole family in one bedroom. The following day a technician came to repair.

the pictures didn’t do this place justice, it is stunning, the hospitality so great that I know I’ll be back.

Enjoyed our peaceful stay at beautiful watamu, fortamu!

The villa facilities were brilliant! Great pools, one with kiddie pool. Lots of sunbeds and the environment was very relaxing even with kids around. The gardens were beautiful, well maintained. Pool was always clean and with attendants! The villa was clean (most of the time). Living in the coast close to the beach sand particles are every likely to get into every room. It is right on the beach (3 min walk past the two pools and through the beautiful gardens. Papa Remo restaurant is about 7/10 min leisure walk on the beach...if you fancy some Italian cuisine.. House keeping: The lady who looked after the house, Scarlett was very lovely, courteous. The chef, Sifa, prepared the fish dishes wonderfully! Breakfast was a feast! We were travelling 3 adults, 2 children and all were happy with all the villa and it's facilities around offered. . The host: Deborah, was in constant communication with us prior to stay. The manager, Katana, was checking on us and very courteous!

The place runs on kplc power grid and diesel generator. A couple of times we would be on generator which is loud (ish) some times off completely hence no water being pumped into the houses. This was for most of the villas though. Luckily it was in the afternoons when kids are swimming.

Exceptional

It is a wonderful place to relax with a family. My kids loved thr place. Chef zero and maid Agnes helped us in every way. I recommend this place. Especiall request the cooking of lobsters and jumbo prawns.

Th house was near thr entance meaning you have to walk a bit to reach the beach or a pool. But that didnt bother us much. We had to leave after two nights and it was ao sad.

I loved the hosts who took care of us.Mr.Katana,Chef Ziro and Riziki.10/10. The ambience of this place is out of the world and the closeness to the beach,clean swimming pool and clean towels.Keep it up.i recommend this place over and over again. 👌

The property's ambience is top notch. It's so clean n spacious. I love the fact there was a full time chef and cleaner. Ooh, plus a laundry room. I loved everything about Lady D house

The water pressure was abit low so you couldn't take a shower all of you in both rooms at the same time.

Very good

A few steps from the beach. Really really beautiful. The caretakers were wonderful, and made us fantastic meals during our stay. Highly recommend their home-cooked meals! Great service.

Could have done with better provision of toiletries.

Exceptional

We had a wonderful stay at Lady D house in Watamu. The house is beautifully decorated and located within the Fortamu enclave, which had great security and an exceptional pool to hang out in. The cabanas were located right next to the beach with amazing views. The house itself came with everything you might need on a holiday, and the house manager and cook, Mr Katana, and housekeeper, Agnes, were both wonderful and help ensure you have a great time. I would definitely stay at Lady D house again!

It felt like home and I will certainly be back

This property is part of the Fortamu resort that also host Twiga house and other rental properties. It was in one word breathtaking. The tropical garden is a breeze, the compound is well maintained. The beach and swimming pools are a picture postcard experience. The host, the cook and houselady are all so nice, service oriented and friendly. For the first time in my life I felt sad leaving a holiday venue..simply because it felt like home. I will certainly be back. Have decided to spend my next birthday there. The property is nicer than what you see on the pictures

Afterwards this was quite funny, but ....one evening a small crab wandered from the ocean into the living room....the security guard removed it. However I screamed for 2 full minutes at the crab to get out! It wouldn't listen :-)

Nice compound and pool

Maintenance issues - air con fixed but leaking toilet never repaired No cook as promised - celebrating my 50th bday - did not come to holiday to have to cook Spent more on taxis and restais as a result Staff spoke poor English No supervision on site

The property is kept clean, close to the beach, staff and caretaker very friendly. Very cooperative team from proprietor to the cleaner.

The property is simply fine for a holiday home.
