You'll ski, snowboard, and golf on the slopes of Mt. Hood when you escape to this three-bedroom home in Welches, a sparkling creekside retreat with a private hot tub and Ping-Pong table, a lovely deck and firepit, and a perfect location for outdoor recreation in every season.
This home sits just south of Mt. Hood Highway in Welches, on the banks of a small creek directly adjacent to Mt. Hood Oregon Resort (formerly The Resort at The Mountain). Spend the summer teeing off at the 36-hole golf course right next door, fishing in the Sandy River one mile north, and hiking the countless woodland trails in Mt. Hood National Forest. Return each winter to ski and snowboard at Mt. Hood Skibowl, Timberline Lodge and Ski Area, and Mt. Hood Meadows.
Step inside to find an open, light-filled, and air-conditioned living space, with beautiful accents of knotty alder and natural stone throughout. On snowy days, you can come home from the slopes to fix a hot, comforting lunch in the full kitchen (with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a dishwasher) and curl up by the gas fireplace with a board game and a Netflix/cable favorite on the flatscreen TV. Come summer, soak in the sunshine on the partially covered cedar deck as you listen to tunes streaming over the free WiFi and light the gas grill for dinner. The rest of the evening is for playing Ping-Pong, telling stories around the firepit, and admiring the stars from the warmth of the private hot tub.

We had a great time here for a family vacation. It's nice that it's so close to restaurants. Wonderful for pups and the rooms for all clean and comfortable. FYI - you can fit a pack n play in the laundry room : )

We loved our Thanksgiving getaway at Moose Meadow. Probably the best stocked kitchen of any vacation home
we’ve ever rented with the highest quality cookware, etc.. The family room was set up perfectly for movie nights and the quiet, wooded surroundings made everything feel cozy.
** We did suggest a very necessary deep clean to Vacasa (after we checked out) to which we never received a response (lots of pet stains on the carpet and pet odors throughout the carpeted rooms), so we probably wouldn’t book the property again without confirmation that our suggestion was met with a proactive scrub down. The hot tub could have used a little love, as well, so we didn’t use it more than once or twice during our stay which is why we gave only 3 stars and under cleanliness. **

Very clean and updated with cute decor, nicely equipped kitchen, great hot tub and comfortable furniture. The only thing that was an issue was the remote to the fireplace did not have batteries in it to turn it on, but I happened to have some in my bag to put in the remote and use the fireplace.

The house was just lovely!! Warm, cozy, felt like a home and not a rental. The kitchen has most everything you need. I would say a tea kettle and cocktail shaker would be helpful but does not impact the ability to function and fully enjoy the space. The fire pit was fun and it was all around a perfect stay. We are looking forward to staying her again. I suggest grabbing your best friends and staying here. #noregrets 🥰

We really enjoyed our two night stay here. The rental was clean and had everything we needed. There is a great little strip mall within a mile or two. Had a small grocery, a nice coffee shop and an excellent Mexican restaurant -Chicali Cantina. The location was great for our drive around the area. In our full day there we drove all the way around Mt. Hood.

We had the pleasure to stay in this lovely home for a week. Place was comfortable and very clean. Kitchen well equipped to make meals during longer stays. Convenient location - we stayed here for central access to Timberline and High Cascades. Would definitely stay again!

Great house with the most organized and equipped kitchen I've experienced in a rental. The house is super comfortable and very nice. Close to groceries and restaurants, and Mt Hood is only 30 mins away. When we come back we will be staying here!

My friends and I had an incredible time staying at the Moose Meadow home! The space is very comfortable and clean, while boasting incredible views off the back porch and letting the perfect amount of natural light into the house during the day. It’s the perfect destination for a solo/ couple getaway, or a weekend with friends. The hot tub is an added chefs kiss to the experience and the babbling creek that runs through the backyard is the cherry on top. 10/10 from my friends an I! Can’t wait to be back!

Very comfortable cabin with great amenities. We needed the A/C as the temperature was very hot while we were in Welches. Hot tub, streaming Netflix, quiet deck. One of the best cabins we have stayed in in 25 years of hiking.

The home is just as pictured and feels like home with nice added amenities like hotel towels, soap, shampoo, & conditioner. Comfy beds and beautiful big views of the wooded back yard make it easy to stay at the house with small children or pets.
There is nice signage posted around the house to help with using the hot tub and other amenities. The Vacasa house keeping did a great job prior to our arrival. We had 2 minor maintenance issues and Vacasa was easy to reach and report the concerns. The repair company the host uses was very quick, professional, and accomodating of our schedule. Wifi comments were still an issue. For the cost of staying here, the property should have wifi that doesn't buffer during movies or cell use. It was fine with Youtube. If it hadn't rained so much we would have been outside more and wifi wouldn't be a consideration. There were ample movies, puzzles, and games to fill the rainy days too. Would love to stay again.

This house was gorgeous. Emmy boyfriend and I extremely enjoyed ourselves and staying here. Everything was clean and tidy and when we got there they had a candy bouquet for us for Vday and just everything was so beautiful and we can’t thank them enough!
