Greens casa was amazing!

The location was brilliant, it was walking distance to the shops. Mohan the care taker was exceptional, he made our experience worth while. He is a brilliant chef and made an excellent BBQ. He recommended a few local sites for us to travel to.

The living room should have an air condition installed, it was too hot to sit in the living room.

perfect for our 7 night stay.

We enjoyed our stay had a very nice breakfast each morning also can have dinner cooked which we did on two nights. Had the Villa to ourselves so bathes and sarong was all l needed.The Fort is a 10 minute tuk tuk ride away.

Exceptional

It was a beautiful hotel, nice staff they help you with everything. You can even use the kitchen and the washingmachine. The architect changed this old house and it is beautiful. We will definitely come back.

Do not forget better pay the room in roepies instead of creditcard otherwise you pay extra for using the creditcard.

Very good

The place was really nice and our room and bathroom were spacious. The location is a great spot for trips to Galle but also to Unawatuna Beach. The surroundings are peaceful and we also enjoyed a cooling dip in the pool. Overall a great value for money!

Some smaller improvements could be made: Although the breakfast was big, we could not select any options. The room wasnt cleaned in three days and the managers English is poorly. The train did not disturb us (its only coming rarely and is shorly passed), however note that there a pretty loud prayers in the close neighbourhood starting at 5am and lasting for ~an hour.

very beautiful villa! very helpfull owner/staff, we wanted to rent a scooter, which was brought directly to the villa.

very basic breakfast for an expensive stay. No cleaning of the room on multiple day stay (after beach day :-) )

Exceptional

The villa is a beautiful place. The rooms were clean and to a great standard. The best thing about the place is its quiet, tranquil and relaxed atmosphere. As well as, the staff being super helpful and friendly. The owner of the property was also very helpful, he gave us good food options and booked a taxi for us to head back to colombo. The staff and owner made sure we were well looked after. If you stay here you wont be disapointed.

property is amazing built. attention to detail is very good

staff was very lazy. there is no cook. staff refused to cook food for us. we were here for 2 days. this is 5 kms from galle fort. felt a bit isolated owner refused card payment and wanted only cash. super inconvenient

Fantastic colonial villa and pool oasis

Beautiful colonial style villa in 5min driving proximity to the center of the Galle Fort. Amazingly furnished and designed. Fantastic bathroom, amazing living and dining room area as well as wonderful and refreshing pool oasis with the sunbeds and pool towels provided. Delicious breakfast, fantastic and helpful service from Muha (I hope I spell that right), we enjoyed absolutely everything during our stay!

We enjoyed every single day of our stay and recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the charm of colonial style living in Galle.

Wonderful stay.

Beautiful house restored in authentic colonial style. Wonderful atmosphere and swimming pool. Very friendly owner and always willing to help. Also Mohan was always helpful with everything on site. Truly wonderful stay for our family.

Great colonial architecture, personal, location

We booked Green Casa for 2 days, but decided to extend our stay for 2 weeks! We have 1 year baby and the place was very comfortable for us. The water pool, kitchen, big territory and carefully restored colonial architecture, we liked it a lot. The managers of the villa, Moham and Denis, could help with any issues and especially we appreciated the help with the baby. ) The location is very convenient, we could go for a 30 minutes walk to Fort or got a tuk-tuk to Unawatuna beach. Thanks a lot for this stay!

Be careful, the guest house is located 50 meters from the train rails (which is operating even at night).

That was a stay to remember! Want to explore Galle but stay out of the busyness, this is ideal!

Breakfast was simple but great in taste and serving. Hotel room was just as it was in the photos. Pool was a nice setting even though we chose the bathtub over the pool. Spacious and clean rooms! Staff was very attentive.

Comfortable stay

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed was very clean and the mosquito net helped to sleep very peacefully. The manager Mohan was really polite and professional. He made us delicious morning coffee and breakfast with Pol rotty (coconut crepes) and Sambol. We were allowed to use the shared kitchen and the refrigerator. We loved the entire vibe in the property. It was very calm and relaxing. We loved the shallow swimming pool.
