Haus mit hohem Standard, leider fehlt die Herzlichkeit

Große Zimmer mit ganz bequemen kuscheligen Betten, großes Badezimmer, Nesspressomaschine am Zimmer, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und auch Abendessen

Wir hatten in allen Riad und Hotels in Marokko einen unfassbar herzlichen Empfang. In diesem Haus ist das Personal nicht wirklich motiviert. Beim Abendessen sind alle Kellner sehr steif und unpersönlich, genauso wie beim Empfang. Alles schön, aber man fühlt sich in diesem Haus nicht wirklich willkommen.

Old style luxury in Fez!

The feel of this hotel is quite special, it really was an old palace in Fez. They have furnished it with period pieces and they have so many little rooms and areas to enjoy. The restaurant is very worth the visit as is the bar.

great hotel with huge potential but could do with management improvement

the property is nice. the rooms are small but comfotable. the restaurant and bar are beautiful and with gorgeous views.

the one area for serious improvement is the front desk management. we had two bad experiences in addition to the fact that the front staff is not hospitable and unfriendly

If in Fes, stay here. It is beautiful and comfortable with delightful staff.

The whole palais is beautiful. Our room had two levels with a "living room" on the first level and bedroom and bath on the second level. The swimming pool area is very nice for sunning and dipping. The restaurant has a great view and rooftop dining. The breakfasts are huge with lots of goodies and eggs to order. The food is excellent. The very nice staff did an excellent job of getting us to our excursions and restaurants.

There were tiny ants in the bathtub area and in the living room in the wrapped food. Housekeeping vacuumed them up, but they insisted on returning.

Beyond extraordinary rates 10/10 for everything

easy to reach to Palais Faraj by rental car, on the edge of the Fes old town, so just few steps you will enter to Madina old Fes, the view from Palais Faraj is outstanding to old town beautiful room design & super comfortable magnificent breakfast, fabulous Moroccan restaurant for dinner with local Moroccan bands to play wonderful songs

everything is fantastic definitely i will stay again & again in Palais Faraj suites

wonderful experience

All the staff I met are very attentive . Had an early dinner there and the food was really good. The bar was also good with live music. And Yes the view from the roof top is second to one in Fes.

if you are looking for the elegant orient vibe, look no further. Beautifully appointed rooms and common areas with interesting mosaic work, mixed together in a relaxing ambiance

Not much - maybe the slightly scary road and the smoking in the bar… great if you smoke, not if you don’t.

Amazing Service, great staff which was so kind! Also the most beautiful hotel I been to, the place is like a museum - the palace itself is just amazing, and full with great art. We stayed first night at a regular suit, and when we asked to extend and they had no room, they were so generous to upgrade us to a better suit which was available. great breakfast! Best I had in Morocco

A great hotel in a great location with super staff. I would definitely book again.

The rooftop bar and restaurant had fabulous views and the food was excellent. The swimming pool was super-clear and relatively unused.

Amazing Palais Faraj experience

Amazing service from arrival to check out. We love the snacks/sweets sneaked into our suite at least twice a day. Beautiful views of the medina, romantic sunrise and sunset from the rooftop garden.

Decoration of the hotel and the rooms, comfort, view from the restaurant is amazing, and very good service. The breakfast is very good, and the Moroccan specialities in breakfast are certainly the best I've eaten in years: they meet up to the culinary reputation of Fez!

Excellent staff. Stunning views on the old medina from the restaurant on the rooftop terrace. Very nice and big pool area to enjoy at anytime of the day. Extremely convenient location to access the medina and easy to reach by car and taxi.

A peaceful stay by the Medina

The room is very nice and comfortable. Bathroom is great. Breakfast is excellent and offers a gorgeous view on the medina from the roof top. The staff is quite generous in letting bottles of water. I appreciated to have a welcoming basket a fruits. Location is great. I walked everything. For people who like to walk, no taxi needed.

It was sometimes quite noisy at night. From a door making noise opening and closing all the time. A water drop. Or just people making noise. The worst part of the stay was the network. WiFi only works (poorly) from a corner of the suite. Data network is not really better. I took the "classic Riad suite". It should be advised to check accessibility to the room for people who needs because of steep private stairs to get in the suite. It is also a bit disturbing to have no window in the bedroom. But for the time we spend inside, that is fine.
