The meals were hearty and staff were friendly. Onsen was excellent and full of mineral benefits. Views were gorgeous and everything has met our expectations and more.
Only 1 way in or out which is via bus and frequency is low. We worked our trip schedule around it and enjoyed it. People whom are rushing for time will not like the wait to get into the location.

Quel dommage.

spectacular view from room , friendly staff , large room , nice kaiseki dinner. very good cafe for lunch across the street from hotel
not much to do in the area. we were there in fall and seemed like area more popular in winter and summer. As others have mentioned - great outdoor onsen location but water very cloudy and green. This could be a desirable health quality but takes some getting used psychologically. water was not unlike some natural springs in eastern sierras in california.

大きな窓から、然別湖を見渡すことの出来る点。
最高でした。
夕食の場にいた、勤勉な蝿。大自然の中の宿泊施設の宿命と諦めました。

On a beautiful lake and nice views.
Spiders in the outdoor onsen, overall cleanliness of the onsen.

The bed and room is Japanese style, very comfortable. The lake view is awesome though it was cloudy. Staff is very friendly and nice. Best room I’ve had in this trip.

This property is a lot better than some reviews suggest. It’s a bit old and some aspects of the decor are not great but it’s clean and comfortable with great views from the room, excellent meals, and great hiking at the door. You can even rent canoes and kayaks. Overall good value for the money.

Quiet location. Cheap room rate.
Run down onsen with no amenities, instead of digital weighting scale, an inaccurate old mechanical scale still in use.
4.1
Great location, room had a wonderful corner view of the frozen lake and ice village.
We loved our suite and were served a magnificent feast in our room for dinner. Beds were made up for us after dinner.
Onsen was well maintained and we participated enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Great Lake view and very helpful staff and great food.
the rooms are a bit old and everything is a bit outdated. I booked it for seeing the igloo but unfortunately when we arrived the festival haven’t started :(

Great location. Friendly and kind staffs, nice dinner and breakfast. Splendid lakeside view.
Facilities are somewhat old, but still useful, so that is not a big problem.
4.1
Dated property but onsen is well worth the visit. Staffs are friendly, especially during check in. well out of the way to make sure we were well informed. Location is out of the way during winter due to usual road closure on the other of the hotel.

1. The view in the room is so awesome, you can see the lake directly without any blocking.
2. Recipients staff is friendly and can speak mandarin, the attitude is nice and polite!
3. Dinner and Breakfast is so nice, no matter for the vegan meal or classic Japanese cuisine.
1. The heater in the room is too warm and dry.
2 The pillow is too hard and uncomfortable.

staffs are helpful and friendly
The staff said they upgraded my room to new building but the interior is very run down. I used the coin laundry but dryer is not efficient in drying at all. Dinner was so-so only. breakfast was better though.

The view was amazing and the staff were wonderful. The rooms were nice and clean with massive windows. The food that was served was delicious and had a good variety of flavors.
We came in winter, so there wasnt a lot to do outside of the hotel, though I did manage to get in a nice long walk down the length of the lake.

Wonderful view ! the corner rooms are amazing.
Food is really great !! The woman who served the dinners in our room was so nice ! ( she makes efforts to speak French with us ).
A little garden on then lake is pleasant. You can rent boats and canoes to go on the lake.
We spent very good time there (2 nights).
Congrats !
Difficult to find something bad , maybe Onsen is a bit old.
