aircon was very loud for some reason, had to turn it off for a couple hours to sleep without noise

Absolutely beautiful hotel! A friend and I decided to take a short trip to Kuala Lumpur for 4 days, as we were staying in Singapore beforehand.
The room is stunning. A spacious room with a large bathroom that can be closed off with sliding doors. Additionally, there is a small living area by the windows, providing us with a view of part of the city from the 37th floor. We particularly enjoyed sitting there with a cup of tea in the evening! The bed was very comfortable, but keep in mind that the TV doesn't have Chromecast options, which is a pity. Fortunately, we could play music via Bluetooth through the TV.
On each floor, there is a small hallway with a coffee machine, chilled tea in the fridge, and a hot water tap.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and checking in and out was smooth and quick. To reach your room, you need to take at least two elevators, which we personally didn’t mind.
We decided to include breakfast - and we were very pleased. Breakfast is on the ground floor, where we were warmly welcomed by Vincent and the team at Botanica+Co. The options were incredibly diverse and extensive, featuring various cuisines (including the classic Western breakfast) with organic vegetables and fruit. The drink selection was also very diverse and delicious, served buffet style. It’s probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve had so far.
All in all, we are very satisfied with our stay at Alila Bangsar - I’ll keep this in mind if I visit Kuala Lumpur again.
In terms of location, it’s a bit disappointing. Situated in Brickfields, we found it somewhat uncomfortable as two young women to walk around in the evening. We didn't dare to take the metro/train to Alila at night. Fortunately, Alila offers chauffeur services, and with Grab (which was incredibly affordable), you can reach the city center in just under 15 minutes. KL airport is approximately 50-70 minutes away by car, as it’s quite far.

Ambience and interior
Hotel noted on baby cot request and mentioned was available. However, when checked in room no sign of baby cot. Didn’t want to go through the hassle again of asking so we made do with the king size bed.
4.3
Beautifully designed interior, swift check in and check out process, powerful air conditioning
Sound proofing wasn’t the best, we can constantly hear doors being closed from the room. We couldn’t switch off lights in the bathroom and suspect the switch might be faulty but we found out too late during the night so we just left it be
4.3
The style and design of the hotel is very attractive, and the furniture chosen is excellent.
1. The environment outside of the hotel
2. The way to the parking is opposite from other hotels in Malaysia
4.3
The facilities were nice and so were the staff.
The room service! I ordered mee goreng at 11pm for a hefty price and it did not deliver! It was basically cold and I assume they did not defrost it properly. It wasn’t enjoyable to eat at all. Disappointed
4.3
Chic design and cozy
The price a bit high

Very quiet and private rooms. Great desk for WFH if needed. Bonus is the free coffee and snack bar.
Signage to reach the check in lobby needs to be more prominent. While arriving from the LRT link bridge, one need to travel to the ground floor (Hoping the lift is working), then have to ask to realised that one have to use another lift to get to 41st floor (actual lobby). Of course then you have to use another lift to get to the rooms...Lighting in the rooms seems a bit dark (especially in the living room).
4.3
- Room is squeaky clean
- Ironing facilities, tv
- Wifi is great
- Free flow coffee, tea and snacks on each floor, in front of the lift (level 35-40)
- bridge link to LRT (3-5 mins walk)
- near NU Sentral and Little India (20 mins walk)
- pool & gym on the same floor
The access
- the Lobby/reception is located at 41st floor.
- if you drive, you have to park your car at M1, then take lift up to G and then from G go to level 41. After that you will take another lift to move to your room that’s located in between 35th-39th floor. Altogether, 4 lift you have to change.
- G floor no concierge. If you were dropped off to G floor, expect no one to help you carry your bags/luggage up.
Parking
- small
- for Guest, rm5 per day (must validate at the reception level 41 before you leave every time - otherwise, it’s rm5/hour)
- entry with TNG or Bank card only.
Other
- would be great if each floor has trash bin near the elevator
- smoking area at 40th floor near the pool has no lights on at night

Sehr sauber und eine tolle Aussicht.
Die Lage. Es ist ein bisschen außerhalb

A beautiful property at an unexpected location . Staff was very efficient and polite and made sure our needs were met promptly . Kids enjoyed their pool experience and we had a wonderful stay . Great value for money.
Maybe the neighbouring area . Also the lifts were a bit slow and changing lifts was a bit cumbersome .

Room was very spacious, clean and bed is super comfortable. Overall design is nice and room felt stylish yet cosy. Closet could include some drawers though as not everything is hanging. Staff was very friendly and service-oriented.
Breakfast could be A LOT better. Had to pay for a coffee (unless having drip coffee) and felt that shouldn't happen since I already paid for a breakfast cost for each day of stay. Breakfast did not include enough healthy options with lots of unhealthy cereals available.

I had an amazing stay at Alila Bangsar. My room was huge and had a great view and the facilities from the pool to the gym are beautifully designed. Everything feels new and modern and the hospitality/service was perfect throughout.
the only slight downside was the slow lifts, slightly more residential area but still not far from the centre.

Sehr gute Verbindungsmöglichkeiten, Anbindung an öffentliches Verkehr.
Zimmer erichbarchheit ein wenig zu kompliziert und die Fahrstühle sind nicht sehr schnell. Man müsste in der oberene Stockwerk zum Lobby und dan wieder zurück über andere Fahrstühl ins Zimmer.

The room is clean & comfortable!
So far nothing is bad.
4.3
Coffee tea machine with snacks at every lift lobby was really delightful!
Needing to change lifts to get to the concierge level then to the room level.
4.3
The hotel itself and its interior is absolutely beautiful.
Most importantly, the staff does not seem sufficiently trained and/or experienced (for example: our laundry (which would have had to be returned the same day) was only returned a day later and after we called for this ourself - the in-room dining plan was apparently not available for each room, but that only became clear after a long explanation at the reception - it appeared that there had been a mistake with the number of breakfast, but instead of simply charging the missing breakfasts to our rooms, they asked us to contact Booking first to change our booking - …).
Furthermore, the technical installations in the hotel don’t seem to be in the best state. We had to change rooms due to different lights which were impossible to switch off, and the airconditioning in our second room didn’t always work properly.
More of a detail: the floors around the pool and in the adjacent bathroom were very slippery. It might be worth changing cleaning products or changing the materials.
Location might not be the most exciting but that was a well-known fact to us.
4.3
Nice location, friendly and professional staff, room was excellent
In the morning there was a slight delay in getting our bags down for our airport pick up. Very minor thing
4.3
Spacious room & bathroom.
Very comfortable bed arrangement for 3 people.
Spectacular views (we were on 36th floor), particularly in the night.
Excellent value for money.
Hotel accommodated earlier arrival.
Our stay was fantastic and I fully recommend this hotel.
There was a bit of wear and tear in the bathroom, and some maintenance issues there, but I believe this was an isolated problem to our room. The hotel acted on it, but it was still a slight inconvenience for us.
Breakfast was good, but could do with bigger variety.
4.3
Spacious room, comfortable. Ideal for business trip in my opinion.
Ok breakfast, not too many selection from a buffet standpoint. That the pool were under construction, we got notified only upon booking the place and can’t cancel.

Hi, the room was fantastic and I enjoyed every moment, not forgetting the view, its amazing, I highly recommend everyone looking at this property, As for the Breakfast, the staff were superb, friendly everyday. but the variety of food could be better. overall, I will recommend my friends and I will be back soon
unfortunately, the gym and swimming pool was closed during my stay, but I look forward to my next stay.

water heater not function well, hot water kept off & on, soundproof not really well,

good view, free shuttle car to KL Sentral
no bathtub

Alila is a great hotel. I keep coming back..but i think management needs to consider to change a few things
-key card is old, and scanning properties are poor
-the irons need to be changed, mine the water was leaking out while i was ironing
-the water heater isn't what it used to be, there's something wrong with the heating element
-get midnight cleaners to clean the common area during night time as well, as its not nice to see the place dirty and rubbish thrown everywhere when I'm getting back to my 5 star hotel
-cleaning the room needs to be 100% down to clearing the disposable things in the room
-i called the day i had left and informed them that I had left my laundry bag there, they took my contact details and didn't contact me back, so i went there today to ask in person
This is my honest feedback. I'll still come back, cos i really really love the hotel

i would have preferred to have really hot water for the shower as well. the tap water was hot but bath water was OK.
2. The placement of the lifts. M1 to G to 41 then to 37.
nil

Location abit unwell

Large rooms, excellent staff. Great location and view. Very quiet (when no construction)
Pool was closed, vibrations from renovations could be felt in room. Breakfast in cafe disappointing.
