Accommodation were beyond what we expected.
All you need is provided. Definitely felt like home. Place was clean and orderly.
Plenty dock space to bring your toys.
(Please respect NO WAKE Zone)
I highly recommend this property.
I'd suggest bring bottle water and bags of ice since the property is on well water.

We had a great time, the property was as described and perfect for our getaway. Elaine was very responsive and available if we had any concerns, which we did not. Everything was perfect.

We had a great time in this house. Our property manager/contact, Elaine, was exactly who you’d want for every rental. She answered texts quickly and was very helpful.
We were able to keep our boat at the dock which enabled us the chance to easily jump on it and explore the lake every day.

We just spent a lovely week at the house. It was perfect for our group. We had our kids and their friends. They had a hangout in the basement while we, adults had ample space upstairs. We enjoyed the lake with the dock as we picnicked under blue skies and swam. Elaine responded to questions and made sure our stay was comfortable.

We stayed for a golf tournament for my son and it was wonderful. Loved the game room and beautiful back yard. Will definitely be back when its warmer.

We all had a great time at this location. It was very spacious. It was also very nice that we all had our own bathroom. I would recommend this place to stay at!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Cameron Cottage and recommend it highly. The house is very clean, well-furnished and very comfortable, with space for everyone. The enormous back deck and covered area below were perfect for entertaining the friends that accompanied us. The home is situated on a quiet cove, and the upper level of the dock provides yet another wonderful place to relax and enjoy the day, as well as the colorful evening sky with so many stars. Elaine is awesome! She checked in with us to be sure we had everything that we needed and provided immediate response to any question that we had, which really means a lot. We had a fabulous time and hope to return next summer.

This was a great property for a great price. My family had a fun time over the week and this was the perfect home base for the activities we had planned in Atlanta. The place is quiet and relaxing with plenty of space, and the separation between the living space upstairs and the activity space downstairs was especially nice. We had great communication with the property manager. On our first night there we had a bit of a storm and a tree fell in the neighborhood and knocked out the power for a few hours. Elaine was in constant communication giving us updates on when the power was coming back up, and things we could do in town while the power company worked on the lines. Overall we had a great experience.

Cameron Cottage is a relaxing get-away in a very quiet neighborhood with Lake Lanier in the backyard. We enjoyed watching the deer that wandered through the property in the evenings. Elaine, the property manager contacted us prior to our visit to introduce herself, again before check-in with logistics, while we were there to see if we needed anything and afterwards to ask about our visit. She was attentive and approachable. The home is excellent for entertaining from the layout to the amenities. I kept thinking how much I would have loved the lower level when I was young ~ a perfect hangout for teens and tweens and sleepovers! It rained a good portion of the day we hosted family for dinner but there was plenty to do inside to keep kids interested. There is a varied selection of fiction paperbacks if you're a reader. We enjoyed morning coffee on the dock or back deck each day. It's hard to tell from photos if you're going to like a place or not once you get there. Cameron Cottage does not disappoint. We would definitely stay again, especially in weather in which we could take advantage of the lake. Thanks for a great time!

When we arrived there were 8 dead roaches on the floor, 2 in the master bathroom, 1 in the other upstairs bathroom, and 5 in the kitchen all on the floor. I am not sure why they were like this if the house was cleaned recently. Also the remotes for the bedroom tv's did not work.
4.8
House is nice, roomy and comfortable! Property and location are beautiful! The host is very friendly, communicative and attentive. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here!
4.8
Pros: Nice, quiet residential neighborhood, covered parking, wildlife watching (including deer), plenty of space to spread out, entertainment (pool table, table tennis, TVs for Christmas to New Year's Bowl games), lots of cookware & dishes, plush towels, good quality TP and paper towels, plenty of extra blankets, property manager Elaine was very nice and helpful when contacted via phone/text
Cons: Unanswered emails about property at initial booking time months in advance and closer to rental week - none of my emails were ever answered and I wasn't provided a phone number until 2 weeks before checkin. Cleaning wasn't perfect (placemats and dining table needed extra cleaning), small bathrooms were fine for us but could be hard for someone with assistive devices. Access requires 10-15 minutes of driving nicely paved but narrow, very curvy roads that are typical of the area, but might cause car sickness for back seat passengers.

I rented this home for my family to get together on Fall Break and we had a great time. Only minor issues such as not getting the lock box code before checking in, the deck could use a few repairs, and thought the trash limit was a little odd. But we loved the huge doc and lake access was great. The kids loved the ping pong table and pool table. Still gave it an overall rating of 5 stars because we had a great time and would definitely rent it again!

My original reservation was right before covid hit and we had to delay our stay at this
home for two years. I was a bit hesitant that the home would be as nice as the pictures showed with this passage of time. However, everything was completely as
shown. The very large upper deck was put to good use with several of our grandchildren coming up for a day of swimming in the lake. Our attending contact
was extremely helpful, even bringing an electric mixer to the site when I inquired whether there was one....She brought one for our use.
Would be nice to have a return visit to this location and could easily recommend it to friends.

House is roomy and comfortable with a nice dock. Elaine was especially helpful throughout the whole process. We will certainly keep this place in mind for our next reunion.

Lake weekend getaway
Our family had a wonderful time! Very nice place to stay! We rented a pontoon boat with a tube from harbour landing and that was also a lot of fun! Would certainly recommend !

The property was as listed. All parts of the process were easy and as expected. Couldn't complain about anything.
4.8
The property is absolutely beautiful! The house could use a little bit of updating, but to be honest it was fine for the price. It has a pool table inside, outside it has ping pong, cornhole, an absolutely amazing 2 story dock. There are several boat rentals around the area and lots of boat ramps if you Brin your own. I gave it a 5 star review to be fair, it was totally worth it. I gave 3 stars on one section because check in was a bit confusing. So one note, do your due diligence arrival day to get the code.

The property was clean inside and was fully stocked with everything for a pleasant stay. The mailbox on the street was missing a number causing us to miss the entrance to the property. Also the stones on the walkway going to the lake were loose and it could cause anybody walking on them to fall and get hurt.

Property manager Elaine was wonderfully responsive with booking, changing our reservation, answering questions. House, however, needs maintenance. Everything from light bulbs and toilet repair to deep cleaning and weed trimming. The house has a great layout situated on a quiet cove, but looks like owners haven’t invested in upkeep in quite awhile.
4.8
This cottage on a quiet cove at the northern end of Lake Lanier is very well suited to be your getaway. It delivered all that they claim. The layout is great for extended families with space to sprawl. It is well stocked, we were amazed that the TV channel lineup was extensive with multiple large screens throughout the house. The deck has a view of the water and the patio below the deck is a shady, dry place to relax with games to play. Elaine, our guest contact made the stay especially pleasant with clear instructions and even texted during the stay to see if we needed anything.

House has a great layout with plenty of space, situated on a quiet cove. But it needs lots of TLC … missing light bulbs, leaking toilet valve that runs during the night, broken outdoor chairs, overgrown weeds throughout the yard - no real lake view due to vines on trees and trimming that is needed. Flagstone path to dock is broken and jutted - safer to walk around it on the dirt. House needs a DEEP cleaning throughout. Grill exists but is filthy - bring aluminum foil to cover. Evolve team was extremely helpful in answering questions, changing reservation, very responsive. Loved working with them, just somewhat disappointed in the quality and cleanliness of the house and lack of outdoor furniture on upper deck and dock.

We had a fantastic time! The kids enjoyed swimming and fishing in the lake and we loved to see the deer run by early in the morning, and the fireflies at night. The property manager, Elaine, was super helpful and easy to work with. We look forward to coming again next summer!!

Our family met here for a little R & R and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us and could have easily added our other daughter and son-in-law if they could have come. Having 3 full baths was very nice - every individual family had their own space. The bed we slept in in the master was very comfortable which was so nice as we’re pretty spoiled to our comfy bed at home. Spent a lot of time playing pool and ping pong and playing board games (our favorites we brought from home) out on the deck. The property manager, Elaine, was just the right amount of attentive. Checked in on us at the very beginning and answered our questions but then let us enjoy our time without distraction. The place has signs of wear as the house is older but we weren’t going for plush - we were going for comfort so we didn’t mind. We cooked all our meals there and the kitchen was fully equipped for our needs. However, town wasn’t far away if we would’ve wanted to eat out. We would definitely return.

Elaine property manager was great to work with. Check in and out very easy. Property is beautiful lots of things to do without leaving the place. Clean, well kept, books, games and of course the lake. A quick walk and you are on the dock to fish, swim or just relax. It was close to everything you needed. Beautiful part of the country.
