If you'd prefer some privacy, the stunning master bedroom suite has its own deck and indoor sitting area, plus a private bathroom with a gas fireplace! House was great and the kitchen is wonderful. Plenty of room. There were a couple of exceptions. The bath/shower on the main floor isn’t very functional. It’s hard to keep water from splashing out. On our last day, the water from the main floor shower flowed to the downstairs, thru the vent. The A/C wasn’t working and we had a couple of very warm days.

This home is the best stocked home I have ever rented! The kitchen has absolutely everything you would need. Appliances, all very top notch, no skimping on quality. I wouldn't hesitate to reserve it again if the opportunity arises.

Love the well appointed space, perfect for family and good location to Canon Beach.

An actual mattress in the smaller 2nd floor bedroom would be a huge improvement…the listing gives you the impression that bedroom would be a real bed…and Wi-Fi would be another huge improvement.

Great house. It was very clean and very comfortable. There’s no Wi-Fi though. That seems weird and really needs to be added to this location. Loved our stay though.

We enjoyed the space and comfortable amenities if this house. We did not originally see that there was no internet in the listing but it forced us to unplug a bit. Kids enjoyed the game room, board games, puzzles and DVDs available. The rooms and bedding were clean and comfortable and beautiful kitchen, bathrooms and views. Would happily stay again should we visit the area.

Of course the weather is not within anyone's control! We enjoyed the home even though the weather caused the electricity to go out (so make sure you know where the candles are and the flashlights). I would encourage the owners to get internet access - this is an issue for those of us who want to spend time with family and must check in with work! Our 15 month year old needed the steps to be blocked AND still enjoyed running around upstairs and on the ground floor. The kitchen could use a few more utensils - it has a great stove and oven and great cooks, attracted to this property, need utensils! The local grocery store saved us, and we wished that more establishments were open over the holidays. Planning outings to Cannon Beach made a difference too. If you enjoy short walks to the beach, this was a lovely location!

House was 55 Degrees and freezing cold. Could not get it heated up. had to move the couch close to the fireplace to get warm. Under the rug was sand and dirt, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months. No hot water the next morning when we got up. Since we had to sleep in our clothes because it was so cold and with no hot water we just decided to leave . Still waiting to hear back from Vacasa.

My friends and I had a wonderful time staying in this home. The decor is lovely and there was plenty of space for five of us to do our arts and crafts projects and make meals together. The master suite was beyond luxurious and would be perfect for a romantic get-away.

We tried a vacasa home for the second time. The first time in Sunriver this year, the house was filthy and a lot of things were broken.
Now Cannon beach, we typically come to Cannon beach 3 times a year and stay. We love the community and the beach. I loved the listing of this home and the price looked reasonable so I snagged it. The listing is a bit misleading, there is no cable or WiFi… We quickly got over that because we definitely found other things to do and had a great time per usual. The house was clean, the master bedroom had quite a few rugs laying everywhere and underneath was pet stains, which was kind of gross. Other than that no complaints. Loved the steam shower in the master.
Now back to vacasa. Everyone is just rude, maybe it’s me but every single person is like talking to a computer. My daughter left her baby blanket and iPad (yes a new iPad) and I called within 4 hours of check out when we got home and realized they’re both missing. We live in another state.
I tried to call the local number, the lady made it seem like she didn’t know what vacasa was at first. Then she owned up to being a local person for them and told me she’d check on it and I haven’t heard a word. We know the items are in the home as we didn’t go anywhere else.
I think the most upsetting part of this whole thing is that I’m just trying to get someone to locate my CHILDS belongings and she’s sitting here heartbroken her blanket is gone. I’ve called 4 times and the people just keep reciting the same thing to me. For such a LOCAL community this is so outsourced and corporate it’s not even funny.
No more vacasa for us. Maybe we will get back our missing items or maybe not. Good thing iPads locate, I will be watching where it goes at it leaves that house.

The house was perfect for getting away for the weekend. The place was clean and had lots of space to relax in. The master suite was amazing for myself and another to have a great romantic getaway. Also, the location is a walk away from a great grocery store and the beach. We enjoyed a nice 1+ mile walk up the beach to Pelican Brewery as well. Would rent again and would recommend.

3 levels of decks to view stunning sunsets. 2 minute drive to the beach, well-stocked kitchen with chef-worthy appliances. The master suite is its own retreat. Lovely home we hope to book again and again.

The house, appliances, and furnishings were top notch. Everything was clean. The kitchen is well appointed for basic meal preparation needs. We used our T-Mobile hot spots and had no trouble visiting web sites, receiving and sending email, and streaming video.

Our family loved staying here. Such a comfortable, beautiful house. We didn’t even mind when it was raining out because this house was so cozy and lovely to stay in. We can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful and Relaxing
My husband, his parents and our 5 year old had an amazing stay! A bit surprised there was no WiFi, but we had a great stay nonetheless AND made us relax and enjoy each other more. Most of our time was spent at the beach anyways. You can tell this house has made some great memories. Thanks to the family who owns it, for sharing with us🤗

Beautiful beach house
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach house for our last summer getaway before school started. We are a family of 6. 2 adults and 4 kids ages 3-12. The house had more then enough room for us. One thing I didn’t realize when booking this house is that it is 3 stories high. So you will be climbing stairs all day long.
You enter to the first floor where you find the living room, kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom and one tiny room with a trundle. Then when you climb downstairs you get to the master suite and one last bedroom.
Then down another flight of stairs, you find another full bath, and the bonus/game room and laundry.
The house was beautifully decorated which I really appreciated. Every single detail was perfection.
The beds were comfortable, clean and had soft, pillows and duvets.
The gas fire places in the living room and master suite worked beautifully and warmed up the room in minutes. The house retained heat very well in these rooms.
It was a pleasure to cook in such a beautiful kitchen, on a Viking stove nonetheless!
The house has no outdoor grill. But it does have a griddle and small gas grill on the Viking stove. I was able to grill some chicken and fish for dinner, which turned out beautifully.
Although we loved the house, I did have some concerns, which I would like to mention:
1. There are No locks on any bedrooms or bathrooms. So it was very difficult getting any privacy. We had to teach the kids, If the door is locked, knock. But that didn’t always happen. Maybe bring some sticky notes that you can put on the doors to remind people to knock when the door is closed.
2. The pots and pans need to be purged and replaced. All the Teflon skillets were unusable as they were completely scratched up. So bring your own skillet.
3. The knives were horrible. No knife block. Just a few random knives which were not sharp. So bring your own knives if you plan on cooking.
4. No cling wrap or foil. So pack that to store away your leftovers.
5. The bonus room/game room was always cold. Even when we tried switching the thermostat to 72, it wouldn’t budge from 68. So I believe it was broken. It would be wonderful is the game room/bonus room has some sort of comfortable seating. Like a sofa or arm chairs.
6. The washing machine was tricky. The dial is broken. Thankfully I had almost the same washing machine years ago and knew how to operate it. You have to twist the entire dial underneath the plastic knob.

Misleading advertising
While the house was comfortable, amenities descriptions were definitely misleading. Televisions, while throughout the house, did not feature live broadcasting as most logically thinking adults would assume, but were to be used only for DVDs. There was no internet connection or Wi-Fi even though Vacasa listed directions for resetting "routers".

Fabulous home!
This comfortable, family home has it all! It is a true cook's delight, with chef quality Viking gas range, huge refrigerator, and beautiful marble island! There is plenty of seating for entertaining, enjoying the ocean view, or just kicking back. Decks accompany every floor, and the top deck boasts the most incredible Oregon sunsets! The main suite is beautiful, with an on-suite with a soaker tub, and also, a steam shower. There is also a game room, suited for both kids and adults. This home truly makes you feel welcome and relaxed.

The location and home were awesome. The house had everything we needed or wanted. You could see the beach and a short walk you were able to enjoy a stroll on the beach. We loved being close to the parks. We can’t wait to come back again.

You won't be disappointed
This house was bigger and better than expected! Such a great location- a little tucked away from all the tourists, but still close enough to town. The neighborhood is lovely. We enjoyed a walk through the woods down the street from the house. The amenities offered at the house were spectacular- we loved the multiple gas fireplaces, the steam shower, wine fridge, the towel warmer, the comfortable beds, and the views! Oh not to mention the gourmet kitchen. The house has 3 stories- top floor has 2 bedrooms + living space + kitchen + full bath (with clawfoot tub); second floor (below the top floor) has 2 bedrooms (one is a GIANT master) + 1 large master bath; and bottom floor has laundry, game room, second kitchen, and full bathroom. There is a deck on all floors with ocean views. You won't be disappointed.

This is a great house for families. We had a wonderful stay with our two young children. The kitchen is fabulous with high end appliances. The house is well laid out with plenty of separation for adults and kids when you want or need it! It clearly states the house has no wifi so this did not influence our 5 star rating, but it sorely needs internet in this day and age. We were able to use a ATT hotspot that worked fine in the house for work/kids entertainment. The A/V equipment is quite dated but works fine, VHS anyone? The only issue we had was a non responsive Vacasa management team. We had a few questions we asked before and during our stay and emails and calls were not returned. Not a big deal and hopefully they can improve their responsiveness but it didn't detract from the house or stay too much.

Comfort with a view!
Our family of 6 adults had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The openness allowed for ocean breezes to flow through the living and dining area,. The ocean view was great, and enjoying the sunset from the deck was a lovely way to end each day. The well appointed kitchen was nice as we did all of our meals at the house. The walk to the beach was easy. The master bedroom was a great retreat. The other bedrooms were good, not nearly as comfortable. Some rooms were hot, and others cold. Would have been nice to have had some fans. Shades on the glass doors of the master bath would have been nice too. Overall, this is one of the best places we have stayed in Cannon Beach and we would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Home ....
This home is lovely. Very comfortable living area. Fully stocked kitchen utensils, pots/serving. Beautifully furnished. Amazing master and master bath with a steam shower. Great game room.
The view from the deck is lovely, however, there was nothing to sit on outside. Bring camping chairs with you so you can enjoy the sunsets and lovely view. A BBQ on the deck would be nice also, especially for the summer months. Not huge complaints, but could make the stay completely Amazing! Also, make sure to bring coffee as there was none when we arrived. There is a Kuerig and a regular coffee maker, so which ever you prefer. Off the beaten path from downtown, so very quiet.
The one thing to note that really does make a difference is there is no WIFI and no TV. The TV we can live without but the WIFI would be difficult if you were there for longer than a weekend. Again, had I known I would have brought my hot spot with me. Lesson learned, I will bring it no matter what wherever I go on vacation. The check in instructions gave WIFI and password. Thank you for your patience when I spaced that check out time was 10 instead of 11. All in all, we had a great trip.

Fantastic property but it does need some chairs on the deck!

Beautiful but no WiFi
Lovely home. Just a few things that would’ve made it more enjoyable. There is no WiFi or cable, rather a few DVD and VHS players. Emailed owner upon arrival to confirm this and never received a response.
Also would’ve been nice to have furniture on the deck to sit and enjoy the view but we made do by dragging kitchen chairs and a side table out each evening.
Will definitely come back but will be better prepared for the lack of technology.

Nice beach house
When we arrived at the house the light fixture had fallen from the ceiling and there was glass everywhere. We also never found the beach towels that had been mentioned in the details of what was provided. Other than that the house was gorgeous! Loved the kitchen and the rooms. It was not close to the beach, we had to drive everywhere, but the house was really well done inside.

Very classy beach retreat
Loved everything inside the home.
The decor and finishes they picked out were on point! Love all the windows! Beautiful view between the beautiful trees! From the time we walked in 🙂 we felt right at home. It was a memorable time spent with family! Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach home with us.
On another note, the siding & the deck & yard need a bit of TLC. But we will be back in August!
That’s why I gave it 4 stars. 5 stars for the inside!

Tons of room and beautiful views. The beds were not comfortable and the kitchen sink needs some work. We emailed the manager two times, about two different issues and got a response once. Overall, we had a good time.
