The property was clean, spacious and comfortable and ideally situated in a quiet part of Lagos marina, just a short stroll from the town’s shops, bars and restaurants. We have stayed on the marina many times and this was one of our favourite properties. Would definitely visit again.

We stayed for one week having stayed at Lagos previously in a smaller apartment. The apartment was perfect and could find no fault or anything we needed that wasn’t provided. Tip to reduce baggage there is a great selection of books if you happy to risk there will be some you haven’t read. Pool and complex area super clean. We had a late check in communication was excellent with Jo and we arranged all our transfers we needed three by Julie and they were so reasonable and all drivers on time. Booking and communication with Julie was excellent we will definitely be back. Thank you

Lovely apartment with plenty room for 6 people. Well located and well equipped apartment block close to the Marina. Lovely little pool and plenty of sun loungers although there are a few in the apartment if they’re all taken. Lagos itself is a lovely town with lots of nice restaurants and cafes and shops which is about 15 minute walk from the apartment. Lots of boat trips which can be taken from the Marina. Would thoroughly recommend and would love to return sometime.

This three bedroom apartment was perfect for our group of three couples. It had a large balcony to the back, opened onto the lovely pool, and was close to the beach, the Marina and the town of Lagos (a ten minute walk away). We enjoyed an excellent week.

A great property in a great location close to the Marina but easy to walk in to town. Very spacious as only 3 of us, but plenty of room for 6. Loved the rear terrace getting sun all morning and afternoon. Everything was exactly as per the description, including the garage beneath the property. Contact throughout with Julie was first class.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, spacious apartment. Great location, huge pool and large, sunny terrace. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was lovely. We have stayed in a different apartment the last 5 times we have been to Lagos but this year it was booked out so we chose this one. We all agreed that it was much better and will definately be back again.

Second time staying here. A relaxing and stress free holiday. Location is great with lots to do nearby. Apartment is great and we love the space, huge balcony and pool. Communication very good.

We've been coming back over the past seven or eight years and are yet to be disppointed. Reserving and getting the keys was all seamless and Julie is charming and efficient. The real test is would we go back and the answer is clearly yes.

It’s our second year at this property and coming again next year. Nice 3 bedroom property located on a small private complex. The pool is outside the front door and very quite but still those annoying few that want to get up at the break of dawn to reserve beds but when we went (mid sept) it wasn’t necessary. We understand this might be different in high season but the owner has thoughtfully provided foldable beds if this is the case. The property has a large private terrace to the rear which is ideal for eating, sunbathing etc. The location is great only a 10 minute stroll to the Marina, 15 mins to the old town and about 20 to the fantastic beach. Julie, the Property Manager, couldn’t be more helpful, always contactable, she arranged transfers from the airport and her husband arranged Golf, club hire. We didn’t really have to worry about anything. Highly reccomended for an excellent family holiday.

Three bedrooms and two bathroom make this perfect for family or friends. The terrace is large and catches the sun. The swimming pool is 10m away and the playground 2 mins. There is also a kids club at the marina. Excellent for families with young children.

A lovely well equipped home in a fantastic location right near the marina. It was fairly quiet when we got there as it was right at the end of the school holidays so we didn’t have a problem with getting sunbeds around the pool although I am sure this may be more difficult earlier in the season as there isn’t loads of sunbeds. Pool is right outside the house a few steps away and is immaculately clean. There are lots of places for shade and sun and if the pool is busy it’s lovely to sunbathe on the private terrace to the house overlooking the water. Julie was very friendly and efficient and made everything easy from initial booking to when we left. There is an underground parking space which is secure and great if you have a hire car as we did. Would love to come back here, we had a great time! There are some fab restaurants in the old town which is definitely worth a visit although much busier than the marina side.

This is a fantastic apartment in an excellent location for the marina and all the restaurants on the marina side. It is a short walk to the beach and to the town centre which are both very well worth a visit ! The local bus service is easy to use and cheap! Praia Da Luz is worth a visit for a beautiful beach and a long walk on a promenade. The townhouse is beautifully clean and equipped as a home from home ! A pool in a secure garden area with sun beds in open sunlight or in shade which was welcome! Suitable for families and couples who like plenty of space! Communication with Julie was excellent and we wouldn’t hesitate it recommending this property.

This is a superb townhouse, spacious, clean and extremely well equipped, it really has everything you could possibly need, even down to umbrellas (which thankfully we didn’t need!). Plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out, powerful, hot, showers, enormous terrace for sunbathing and relaxing with lovely view over the lake. Huge pool right outside the front door which the kids loved, loads of books and games, and most importantly of all for the teenagers, brilliant WiFi!! Julie from Compass was brilliant, excellent communication from initial booking onwards, she organised us very smooth and easy transfers, met us on arrival and was super lovely! The location is fantastic, right on the Marina with all its brilliant bars and restaurants, 10mins into lovely old town and town beaches or other way to the beach, you don’t need a car as there’s so much going on nearby. We loved Lagos and will definitely be back, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this townhouse, it’s great!!

We had great weather and when the wind came up in the afternoon part of the terrace was sheltered. It was quiet as we were early in the season. Easy walk to town and also to Pingo Doce. We could dip in the pool and then lie out on our own terrace. We would definitely rent this house again.

We are a family of 5 with 2 boys and a girl so this property was perfect for us. The boys could share a room and our daughter had her own space. With the master room having an en-suite we also had our own privacy. The duplex was a good size over two floors. It is fully air-conditioned (master, both bedrooms and lounge). Everything was clean and in good working order. As described the apartment opens onto the pool area so it is perfect for lazy days around the pool. The pool was clean, albeit a little chilly first thing in the morning. The apartment was in a lovely location, no need for a car as everything was within easy walking distance. Beach was about 20 - 25 minutes, marina bars and restaurants about 5 minutes, and you're in the hustle and bustle of Lagos town centre in 15 - 20 minutes. The town has plenty of choices to eat - even for two vegans in the family! The beaches are beautiful - long sandy beaches or beaches with caves for exploring. We went kayaking in the caves which was fun. We took a coach trip to Slide and Splash waterpark, which is not a very big park but kept us entertained for the day. We bought our tickets from the supermarket opposite. This is a good size supermarket which has everything we needed for lunches, breakfast, snacks etc. The cleaner comes twice a week, which was nice for fresh towels. The manager was lovely, very helpful and provided great service, she was there to meet us on the first day as arranged and she was a great help explaining to the driver how to find the property. The only small criticism is there are not enough sunbeds around the pool if it is busy - however, the owner has left a couple of extra beds in the villa - maybe two more would be useful, but that being said the pool has plenty of grass areas which can be used for towels, I wouldn't let this deter me from going again or highly recommending this villa - but just something to be aware of. Also check if beach towels will be provided, we had to buy beach towels for the first week - but the cleaner then left some beach towels for the second week. So overall this is a perfect location for a family holiday, and I would certainly recommend this property and would certainly stay again if returning to this area.

We all had a brilliant holiday and we couldn't have asked for a nicer apartment. Very spacious throughout, great family area downstairs, the master bedroom is large & the ensuite was an added bonus. With 2 further twin bedrooms, another bathroom plus a toilet downstairs too we certainly weren't short of space. The balcony off the living area is a generous size, there are also 2 sun loungers there for sun worshippers, it's a real sun trap. The pool is great, our 2 & 4 yr old loved the kids pool, very shallow but hours of fun spend splashing around & soaking us with buckets of water! The main pool is large & there are plenty sun loungers around it. Just a few minutes walk from the complex is a play park for toddlers, this is next to the Marina which has a good variety of resaurants, cafes & bars, I sampled a few cocktails when I was there. The beach is close by too! I'd highly recommend the apartment and the location, were booked in for next summer, can't wait! Laura & Andy Bain

The apartment had everything you could wish for. All rooms a good size. Sun terrace out back a lovely escape. Pool on your doorstep. Beach within walking distance. Supermarket 2 minutes away. Bars and restaurants within 5 min walk. It was our first family holiday destination, and it will be our second. Overall 10/10 for apartment/location and family fun.

We are lucky enough to have stayed at Villa Moradia a few times, and love it. As in- really, really love it, so actually feel that writing a review might be a bad idea, as it let's you into our holiday secret.... But.... It's BRILLIANT. And I suppose it's nice to share... so... We're a non-driving family of six - and the location is completely and utterly fantastic. An easy walk to the huge (and gorgeous, warm-oceaned) beach, the beautiful old town and the supermarket, for picnic supplies. There's a whole host of fantastic cafes, bars and tavernas a mere stroll away (and along the marina! even better!) There's a huge market fish, selling fruit and vegetables across the bridge and the train station -for adventures further afield- is just five minutes walk, which also allows for straightforward airport journeys. There are speedboat dolphin tours, longer day cruises and a wee toy train to help you explore in a leisurely fashion. And there's a fantastic wee museum in town for kids on a rainy day, as well as the historic sites and the hidden beaches. The property itself is all you could want, and a wee bit more. The pool is literally on the doorstep and although unheated, the temperatures in Lagos, even in October, means our children have to be dragged from the water for dinner! The rooms are spacious, clean and airy, with balconies for all important evening cocktails (mine's a mojito, thank you very much). Everything you might need is provided- a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, multiple bathrooms, TV and even wifi if you can't bear to be away from news back home. Which I think is weird, especially when I have a mojito in one hand and a pasteis de nata in the other. So, in short, this is one tiptop, acers holiday apartment. And I'm mighty envious of anyone booking...

Beautiful townhouse in a fantastic location. My wife and I visited twice in 2011 and 2012 with our young children and had a wonderful time. The house is delightfully decorated and has all the mod cons you could ever need. Huge swimming pool right outside the front door with lots of sun beds. Lagos is stunning, great beaches, lovely marina and an amazing array of restaurants to chose from. Lynda's restaurant on the beach is a must and a cheeky passion fruit margarita goes down perfectly whilst watching the sun set! The Duncan family

We arrived in the evening to find a lovely bright open plan ground floor living area, our boys ran upstairs to find their room and we're delighted to find they had a room each. Not as happy as we were to find a very large master bedroom with lovely ensuite! We walked round the corner to the supermarket to stock up and settled in with a movie, snacks and a wee glass of wine before bed. In the morning we woke to glorious sunshine and the stunning view from our bedroom balcony! Then went to see the lower balcony to find a huge outdoor space for dining and sunbathing. The boys were delighted with the pools and spent many hours in them, which surprised us as we weren't expecting it to be warm enough but it was! Off exploring next, found a great marina, with lists of restaurants, but I have to say that the old town was my preferred place to wander round. So many cafes, restaurants and shops, not like the tatty rubbish we found on the Costa. But the real surprise was the beach. A 10 minute walk from the Villa is the cleanest beach I've seen in a long time with the odd beach restaurant and no touts. To sum up, we had the most enjoyable and relaxing holiday in years. You couldn't want more from either the Villa or the location. Can't wait to go back!
