Calella is a town with a huge tradition in tourism, a former fishermen settlement.

Very good location, clean premises and well equipped. Jordi, the host, was friendly and did answer all the questions we had. Calella itself as neighbourhood is more versatile than it first looks and connections to Barcelona and Girona are easy and cheap to use. We really enjoyed our stay in this accommodation!

The whole holiday was excellent.
The owner, Jorgi is brilliant! Great communications before and during the holiday and he was there to meet us when we arrived- with some very welcome beers and biscuits! He gave us great advice about places to eat and dealt immediately with any questions/issues during our week.
The house is beautiful , really well maintained and clean. Two of the bedrooms and the lounge/dining area have air con. Fully equipped kitchen and great pool which was well used by us!
The house is really well situated- two minute walk to a wide range of shops and supermarkets. Five minutes to the wide, sandy beach and the rain station. There are 2/3 trains an hour into central Barcelona- the journey was just over an hour.
We hired a car as we wanted to go to PortAdventura, which was great fun- absolutely worth getting the fast passes.
If we went again, we wouldn’t bother with the car as there are direct buses from the airport to Calella or you can get the ‘every five minite’ bus from the airport to Placa Catalonya in central Barcelona- which is where you get the train to Calella!
Highly recommended holiday, house, own and owner! Thank you Jorgi- we hope to return!!

This was a terrific house and Jordi, the owner, is the best host we’ve ever had. Location was amazing:
The street is busy but there is very little noise inside and it’s a really convenient location. There is a great park for kids right behind you, and many fresh fruit, bakery and similar stores right down the street. We loved being adjacent the main area but one street over - no other tourists or crowds! Two mini markets right down the street too.
House: The house is more spacious than the pictures even depict (narrow but long and high ceilings). Very clean and well maintained. The pool was perfect for kids and there is nice outdoor shower to rinse off. Washer in house and dishwasher. AC units work well. Only the front two bedrooms don’t have AC. They are a bit narrow as well but totally fine.
Wifi was not working that well but owner was fixing it (the internet company showed up mid stay). So ask about that or you will be frustrated.
Owner: Jordi is amazing. He is super nice and responsive. We had a minor issue with one shower and he had a repairman over the next day and fixed it. He went out of his way to get us directions to a beach we wanted to visit and gave us great restaurant recommendations.
He responded to texts within minutes but never bothered us.
Overall, recommend for groups and families. Walk easily to beach and train station. Great house.

We booked this house for the Ironman Oct 2018, it's just as described and probably larger than we expected. It was an easy 15 min walk from the train station, 5 minutes into the center of town and 10 minutes from the beach. The bedroom layout worked perfectly for us, 6 adults, 1 teenager and two under 5's and we still had a spare room for my bike!
Jordi met us on arrival and showed us how everything worked, explained where the important parts of town were etc. and let us know how to contact him directly should we have any questions or need advice.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday in Calella and If staying in Calella again we would definitely re-book one of Jordi's properties.

We were traveling with a large group from country to country in Europe.
We took a bus from Barcelona Airport to Capella, on recommendation from our host. The bus stopped near the house, which was really handy considering all the luggage that we had.
We were welcomed by our host Jordi, with water, milk and cookies. He printed out a map for us and showed us where we could find a groceries store, bakery, bank, shopping area and most important he gave us awesome recommendations of food.
This place is not a super touristy area, more where the locals are, but it is a busy area.
The beach is just down the street.
The rooms were nice and clean and air-conditioning is working great.
We really recommend this place.
